Went in for the dog day ice cream social and a grooming. My sweet boy duke got a de-shedding treatment. The wonderful groomer spent an entire hour and a half taking care of him. Sadly the groomer told me she had two cancelations due to rain however she was able to take the time with my 9 year old baby to allow him to settle down after each step to give him lots of breaks. read more

It was my first time bringing my Shih Tzu Layna in for a grooming. First thing I loved that the pricing was extremely reasonable. When I walked in to the grooming area I was greeted by a very nice blonde lady. I didn't get her name. I felt comfortable as the grooming is done out in the open so anyone can see how our furry friends are treated. When I went to pick my girl up, there was a Frenchie having her nails done and they were so kind and loving to this pup! Layna was groomed exactly as I requested so they listen to all customers concerns. The store has a smaller selection of supplies but also they have fresh treats brought in for sale! I felt so welcome as they had her name on the welcome board! Will definitely be back for Layna grooming! They also have self bath station for the doggies! read more

I came across this place while looking for a self serve dog wash establishment- This is a huge animal store that has everything you can think of for pets! The self serve dog wash station was perfect! It's only $14 per wash and has a spacious station to clean your pup- equipped with hand held water dispenser, shampoo, blow dryer, towels and aprons. They have SOOOO many options and treats. I take my doggie and let her pick out whatever dog treats catch her fancy. My dog took a duck heart and ate it before I could take it and purchase it. The staff was so nice about it and gave her another one for free. I paid for a bag of them since clearly Piper (my doggie) found her favorite snack. This place has the best self-serve dog wash stations in town (3 stalls). I've been coming here for over a year and it's never let me down. Everything is clean and works properly at the stations, the sprayer and blow dryer both work perfectly and there is always plenty of clean, fresh towels. They even have aprons you can wear (to stay clean while washing) and several tools to help de-shed your dog. The staff has always been friendly/helpful and it only costs around $15 for a 20-min dog wash session. My only complaint is that I think 30-mins would be a more appropriate allotted amount of time but 20-mins in good enough to get the job done (make sure to give a quick cleaning to the tub when you're done). The shampoo and conditioner smells AMAZING and keeps your dog smelling fresh for days (make sure to use conditioner on your dog, that is how you will lessen the shedding and keep their coat in good-health). But overall, the store is also very clean and fully stocked with excellent products. They have some great America-made dog treats as well. Next time I'll take some photos of Cooper getting his shower in the self-serve dog wash station! read more

Clean and well managed Pet Supplies Plus location that recently opened. I visited to use their dog wash station. Eli was gracious and personable answering my many questions. Pay for the self serve pet wash (cost was $14) at the front register and then head on back with your pup. Clean towels, shampoo, waterproof aprons, a trash bin, and dryers are all provided with your session. I appreciated the cleanliness and setup of the pet wash area and while there's a timer on the water/shampoo machine, overly adequate time is provided with each selection (example: the rinse water mode was 11 minutes long, shampoo mode was another 10 minutes etc.). This was excellent because it kept me from having to stop and make another selection before I was finished with my current selection. There are three bathing tubs that are spaced apart enough so you aren't rubbing shoulders with other pet owners or your dog being nose to nose with another dog, and the wash area itself has a gate to keep from "escapees". We arrived just after 4pm on a Sunday and found one of the three tubs in use. The closer it came to 5pm, the busier it got and a small line began to form for the pet wash area. My one suggestion/request I'd share with the manager of this location would be to please install more coat hooks (to hang dog harness, leashes, coats, purses etc.). I found only one coat hook when we arrived and it was already in use. Top notch self serve pet wash though, that we look forward to returning to use. I'm so impressed with this store! I went there today as part of their grand opening celebration & what a great experience! Clean & well-organized, as well as, very knowledgeable staff. I met their nutrition expert, their groomer & the owner. All were welcoming, informative & genuinely happy to help! I just went by myself today to get a feel for the place, but I'm bringing my dogs tomorrow! They not only have dog, cat, fish, etc... supplies, but a pet self-wash area & professional grooming area. I came here for the 1st time about a month ago as we were in the area and our regular pet store wasn't around here. So we decided to stop by as we needed more CBD oil for one of our dogs. We walked around the store in circles looking for it as we've never been here before. No one ever came to us to ask if we needed help. So finally I saw an associate and asked if they had it. She answered they did and that it was locked up in a glass case. Yet continued not to show us where it was. So we waited a little bit in the aisle thinking she'd come back to show us but never did. I went for the self wash stations they offer, which the stations it self I did like, specifically the drying part since it doesn't make that much noise for the dog to dry and my dog dried up fast. The thing I didn't like was how close to each other the 3 self washing stations are to each other, there's barely any space if there's 3 people just washing 1 dog, which is understandable because it was a bigger dog, but I got soppy water sprayed on me and when it came to drying the dog hair is everywhere, like my dog hair and the other dog hair was flying! First visit to this store. We wanted to try their self-dog wash. It was awesome! It's like a self-car wash - there is a single nozzle and a machine where you push buttons that dispenses shampoo, conditioner, or water. The water was just the right temp of warm, no adjustment necessary. There is a separate nozzle that you push a button for the dryer. They provide aprons, towels, and brushes. Just be considerate and rinse off the basin after you're finished for the next person. Buy a discount card for $45 for 5 washes. Otherwise it is $14 a wash. Honestly, I have purchased many items from this store just because it is so close to me but today was the last straw. Over the past 3 months I have gone in there 5 times, 2 of which were fine but on one occasion I needed help with choosing a new dog food and I was asking questions and the sales person knew nothing about dog food and told me to just read the bag....I walked out. The next incident happened when I was looking for some hairball treatment for my cat and there were two sales people in the aisle having a full on conversation about their friends and what they were doing on the weekend, they never asked if I needed help and I actually had to ask THEM to move so i could see what was on the shelf. What broke me today was, I had just enough money on my debit card to purchase my dogs treats and the girl at the cash register did not no what she was doing and charged me then cancelled it and basically I couldn't get what I needed because now my debit card has no money. Who does the pet grooming shaving what Looked like a poodle, However, she was shaving it near the eyes and pulling on its little beard to hold it steady, and I could see It was clearly hurting the dog and wiggling around. she was still trying to shave the hair by his eyes, which she could hit the eyes at any moment. Had that dog taken a wrong turn. I don't think that that's very good to be doing that. Therefore, I wouldn't bring my dog here. read more
