I have been to various dog supply outlets around the city and this is BY FAR one of my favorites. It is smaller than some but they have all the necessities. From aisles of dog toys, treats, dog food, clothes, accessories, dog bowls and MORE. The customer service here by far goes above and beyond expectations. This isn't your typical dog store. The employees here are EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I'd like to take the time to give a HUGE thank you to Fredi. I was blown away by the care she gave me. I was trying to look at different dog food options for my yorkie and she took the time to go through various ingredient lists and different brands to give me specifics and break down ingredients to note with attention to her breed and weight. She deserves all the flowers and deserves a manager title if she does not have one already. I also love that they have a rewards system so you can save as you spend with them. During different holiday seasons they even create backdrops that you can take photos of or with your fur babies! I love how consistent all of the Dog Supplies Outlet experiences are. While this location isn't my primary, it is convenient when I'm in the area. When I walk in - it's always very organized. While I don't know this location's layout as well as my primary location, there is always a team member readily available to help. They are always friendly and most importantly, very knowledgeable in various products. As we always like to try new things for our pups, the items don't always work out and the locations work well with one another. They can look up a receipt from another location and easily help you get what you need in exchange. What a great hidden gem. An incredible selection of toys, treats, and dog/cat food. Not only can you find all of your supplies here but they also offer FREE self service dog washing. We used to be a customer of Bogarts but after an experience there today we looked around for another dog supply store. We found this store and wow what an amazing difference. When we walked in right away the staff were super nice and friendly. They had exactly what we were looking for and let us buy all we wanted while Bogarts would not sell what we wanted. The store had everything for our dogs and the best part was the friendly and knowledgeable employees. This is how you run a store and we will now be shopping here for our dogs all the time. We had a amazing experience here. Initially called in and spoke with Angela as I needed a balm for my dog. She was so friendly and also informed me that on Fridays they do nail clippings, so if I came in then with my dog he could get complimentary nail clippings. We headed over. We were greeted by Fredi and Angela. Both super helpful and clearly love dogs. My old man get nervous in public and they were so sweet to try to calm him down. Bridget was AMAZING at what she does. My Shepsky is a big scardy boy and she was so gentle and quick. His nails were passed due on being clipped and Bridget handled it better than I ever could have. The whole experience was easy. I will absolutely be returning to buy more treats for my pups and give their self washing stations a try. I just want to thank Angela and Jocelyn for staying late for my dogs wash.. I usually go to pet supplies plus so I thought there was gonna be a fee. I ended up going 20 minutes after closing and the girls stayed with me and we're so nice. I was surprised to find out that the wash was free. These girls were so sweet about it. My dog suffers from allergies and he was in bad shape because we hadn't been bathed him in a while. Which was my bad. Also my bad is waiting on a Sunday to wash him at 7:00 PM. I looked up open dog washes in this place popped up. I live on Alta and Rainbow and came all the way over to this place which was going to close in 10 minutes. The girls let me wash my dog. I was so thankful. I bathed him and vacuumed him. It was awesome. I love the way that they have the tub because there's a little chain in it so he doesn't keep walking away. Also, it's pretty big and I like how there's little shampoo's and brush brushes that we could use. I use my own brush and my own shampoo for my dog because of his allergies, but I thought that was so cool. I tried to wash the tub as fast as I could to make it nice and ready for the next pup. My regret is I didn't get to look around cause it looks like they have so much to choose from. I'm not sure if the price match, but that would be awesome. They even have duck feet which I order from Amazon because I can't find it anywhere. I know it's far from me, but I will be back and I just also want to once again shout out. ANGELA AND JOCELYN. Unfortunately I had to give 1 star only because of the bath area. This is purely educational and please do what you want, but it is not just Dog Supplies Outlets, it's any bath you take your dog to. I am extremely diligent about not letting my dog go to boarders, dog parks daycares and around other dogs because I've heard stories. I don't know what I thought taking him to a communal bath, well I wasn't thinking haha! But he contracted canine lice. I tried to narrow it down to something else but definitely is the bath and matches up to when he got it. I never knew a dog could get this, I thought only humans but my vet said it is very common in Las Vegas, dog to dog contact or baths, groomers etc. Reason being is people usually don't know their dog has lice until there is an infestation and sometimes places like these are not disinfected thoroughly, (look up lifespan and lice eggs in dogs) Yes, I know horribly gross and it was a complete mess and took weeks of treatment! But, it's not anyone's fault just please be cautious with your babies. This is most prevalent in Spring when it gets warm. If you do go to these places, check your dog thoroughly for a couple weeks afterward to check for this. Otherwise, seriously everyone here is amazing and have treated my dog so well. Always on time with dog food. But, I hope the establishment knows this review is purely being published as a learning tool for others. read more
