On 9/11 I took two dogs in for a bath and brush appointment. When I called I verified that this service included nail trim, paw pad shaving and a sanitation trim. I also confirmed that I could drop my dogs off at 915 for an 11am appointment doing to my work schedule. All of the items mentioned were confirmed. When I husband dropped the dogs off he was met by Alyssa who was clearly upset the dogs arrived early. When he picked up the dogs it was obvious they didn't have their nails trimmed, paw pads cleaned up and their sanitation area was still not trimmed. I called and spoke with Alyssa and she apologized and asked me to bring them back again on 9/12 at 4pm. We too them in and once again their sanitation area was not done. I called and complained to a manager and he told me I'd have to pay for a base grooming session but he'd give me free add one for my conscience. This solution is unacceptable. I paid $120 before tip for two dogs and the service I paid for didn't get done TWO times. Why would have I pay for anything considering I didn't even get done what I had already paid for? read more

I went in on 6/27/2025 to purchase fish, I noticed in a lot of the tanks there were many dead fish. The only tanks that did not have any dead fish were the small and medium comets. After standing by the tanks and having 3 store employee's walk past me, I had to go ask for help. I purchased 6 medium comets for our tank at work. This morning, I come in and all are floating in the water, prior to purchasing the fish we had the water tested and was told the water was perfect. I will never buy fish from here again. read more

It was second time today 04/06/2025 when I went for grooming with my little Morkie,Sunshine for grooming. At 4pm exactly when we were scheduled we were there,answer to all the questions and presented all the paperwork. I ask the young lady not to groom him very short,also I asked and showed her using my fingers as a scissors, to cut his ears hair, straight. At 6pm whe I took him, she told me that she did not cut his nails because he did not behaved. When we arrived home I saw that she cut the hair all around his ears, plus his bangs are horrible, not straight, at his butt she left some very long hairs. Bottom line, my pretty little baby, looks like he was groomed by a beginner with an axe. I'm totally not happy with this and also I opted for full grooming+perfume and he doesn't smell at all at a pleasant scent,like last time. If you make an appointment to this shop do not make it in the afternoon, close to the closing time, because I think she was in a hurry to finish my baby so she can leave. I'm going to look for another groomer. Totally not OK here! read more

I have been bringing my dogs here for the self service dog wash. It has slowly been going downhill. Yesterday was the first time I returned with my new dog to give him a bath. WOW, it was awful. There weren't any towels in the room, the baths and floor were FILTHY. I had to clean the bath out and clean the drain before I could even use it. The shampoo's were mostly gone and had the lids off. They use to have a really nice variety of shampoos. Now there are barely any. The dryer on the one bath is broken so you have to unhook your dog and move them to the working one. I really hope they get this fixed, because I enjoy coming here. read more

Remember your quarantined tank that had ick? About a month ago? Yeah you killed almost all of my fish. Funny how it wasn't quarantined when I bought the fish but when I go back for something I forgot the next day (algae rounds) it's quarantined. So you killed 5 out of the 7 I bought from your store, and 4 out of 8 from elsewhere then cost me the money for ick medicine. Then cost me multiple water changes and more conditioner, then I got to watch all my fiancés fish die for her first tank. THANKS pet supplies plus you guys are top notch read more

I normally go to a different pet store because that's just the store I've always gone to. When my fury baby was getting his first cut, my mom suggested I go to that store. It was a nightmare! They said they really couldn't cut him because he was so wiggly. He was a puppy! I decided that I didn't want to go back. I then resulted to buying his food and treats online. That was fine but I wanted to try new treats and needed to see them in person. I had seen this store for a while when going to Walmart and decided to give it a try. I'm super glad I did! Lots of treat options including some fresh baked from a local baker! His food is never out of stock and because I signed up to get emails and stuff, I get some nice discounts. I tried to have him groomed there once but it didn't work out. I have a great groomer now so no worries. I only go for pup things but their cat section is plentiful. Along the back wall are the fish and fish things. If you need a new pet store, I highly recommend them. Bring your fur baby with you even! read more

Buyer Beware!!!!! They are selling sick fish!!! I bought three fish from pet supplies in Lorain they had ick and I wasn't aware or I wouldn't have purchased the fish.after I purchased and put the fish in my tank my fish started dying one by one. I called with my receipt and spoke to a manager ( luis ) who informed me that there's nothing he can do because it's after the 14day period for refound. Sadly All my fish (cichlids) died and they refused to at lease refund me the fish I purchased from them. So please be careful when purchasing any animals from there. Would not recommend purchasing any animals from there. They simply don't care. read more

Had an appointment to get my dog groomed but the groomer did not show up. Stood there for almost 20 minutes with little to no word from the manager. Finally tells me can't get a hold of the groomer but someone's coming that can wash him. I was there for a full spa treatment. TERRIBLE customer service. They've just lost a customer. read more

Usually go to Elyria store to purchase canned cat food. Was in area and stopped in . Found a better variety of food and bought almost 50 cans of food. When up at the register I had asked if they offer a discount for the amount spent and the individual didnt know. She then indicated she could offer me a 10% discount on my purchase , which was much appreciated at that time. At home I looked at my receipt was $38.14 and my 10% discount was .59 cents. I had asked her at register if she was able to enter it and she said yes. I guess at that store 10% of the total if figured differently at the Lorain Store. Very disappointed why offer it then. read more
