The employees at the Oak Lawn store are all so helpful. They always go above and beyond to help. Whether it be to check the back for more product, load heavy bags into the cart or into the car. Great place and curbside pickup you can't beat, only reason for 4 stars is the prices are insane!! I mean the 6 pack of bully sticks for $19? Just doesn't seem accurate, I was in desperate need of them and they tend to be sold out a lot so I bought them. I will never again, treats are definitely reasonable but still can find better prices at Sams/Costco in much larger bags. read more

Well the Chicago weather kept me from doing my normal wash outside with my dog. So I ventured out to find a self dog wash facility. Well what a jack pot... $11 wash and they provide the soaps, many different types. They provide towels and aprons as well... only request would be to have some conditioner as well, but not a biggie, I'll bring some with next time... what a great life saver.... and I wish the dryers were longer so I can get under the belly. I didn't get a chance to walk around the store, but the wash area was neat and clean. read more

Every time I bring my dog Mia here we have such a pleasant experience. Everyone is so friendly here and they always have lots of deals going on. Last time I stopped in me and my sister left so happy. She was wearing a hawks shirt so we got a free bag of dog treats for tailgaters weekend! Also I won a free dog wash and a free dog food measuring cup. They even offered us free water on the way out. They are all so sweet and friendly and I have never had a bad experience here. Everyone is so nice to my pup and they even help me to the car with my large dog food! I feel like their prices are a little bit more expensive then other places but the people who work there actually seem to know what their talking about. Their have a wider selection then most places and you can special order lots of different types of dog food from them. read more

After reading all the stellar reviews here on yelp, I decided to check this place out. My Great Dane was having indigestion issues, & I had been searching for a new dog food. I had tried suggestions from employees at other (chain) pet stores, to no avail. At Pet Supplies Plus, I found friendly employees who actually knew what they were talking about. If your looking for a cheap bag of kibble, this is not the place for you. This is the place for anyone who considers their pet a part of their family ;) All the food they sell here is natural & holistic. I was initially overwhelmed with all the different foods & not really knowing what exactly I was looking for. An employee quickly came to my rescue. She took the time to discuss my needs & the different options available. She was very friendly & extremely knowledgable! She also explained that if for any reason I wasn't happy with my purchase, they accept returns & exchanges! I will definitely start shopping here for ALL of my pets needs! Completely love this store and so do my big babies(aka my pups). I have always been greeted with a smile and a treat for my babies. The store is always cleaned, well stocked, and unlike other stores you always find an employee doing Work in the aisles. They know a lot of customers by name or at least the dogs names. I've always found the employees very over the top helpful at this store. No question is too big or small for them. When I brought in my new Pomeranian puppy last summer Jacquie took a lot of time to help us select the best food, toys and all the other accessories we needed. I love this place! I have a very energetic 1 year old husky who loves to chew on things. One of the store employees suggested that I boil my dogs antler in chicken broth and she loves it. It keeps her busy for hours. I agree with everyone else that the prices are little more expensive the the staff is friendly and really seem to know that they are talking about. after repeatedly trying to get online and also telling staff that i havent been getting any emails from PSP. today i just opened a new account. i get email on a regular basis from petsmart and chewy. i received a $10 coupon in my regular mail, but it expired just a few days after i got it. im not as happy with PSP as i used to be. read more

They don't always have the best prices but they have a large variety of American and Canadian made products. They understood why I was afraid to buy Chinese products. They have a new younger staff that seems to be a little immature. This is why I didn't give them all five stars. They just grab at my puppy and pet him without asking and sometimes stand in the way. The last time I was there the young girl was vacuuming an hour before closing. I know you want to get home ASAP but there were dogs in the store that were freaking out. They feed off of each other's fear. She then rolled her eyes when a customer had trouble controlling the dog's leash when the leash holder (to pay without being tied down) didn't hold up. The dog just walked to the pig ears container haha. The older staff is totally awesome and helpful. They are more talkative and don't just jump at my puppy. They don't rush you or get bent out of shape over nothing. read more
