Ray and his crew are terrific - really friendly and helpful. The store has a great variety; I can get supplies for my dogs, cats, guinea pig and chickens, which is hard to do anywhere else. the prices for the dog food i buy are the lowest around and i often apply my rewards dollars or a promo code to bring down my total cost. i usually order items online and have them deliver. just yesterday i ordered mid morning and it came by mid afternoon. the delivery person always leaves the order on my side porch, out of view from any potential porch pirate. a wonderful service. i love supporting a local business whenever possible. read more

Horrible, can't explain how horrible this location is I will never come back here. On the website advertising 7pm closing on Sundays but they closed doors at 650 pm. On Sunday 9/27/2020 Brenna the associate that works there was not even wearing a mask when they finally opened up the doors which I believe the store can be fined for that specific reason. Also she was completely rude told me I was crazy. Her whole demeanor was disrespectful. Not having the decency to understand they are closing their doors early when customers are waiting outside. I would highly recommend that people would not shop here especially being that the girl who claimed she was a manager was not even wearing a mask. Clearly not worried about the safety and health standards to her customers. Its absolutely despicable. Poor rating I would rate a no star thats how bad this experience was. read more

I have shopped at this store for several years and never had an issue. Today I went in to buy my 2 bags of dog food and when walking to the register I saw a sale sign that was for treats that I have never purchased before but for the price of $3.18 I figured let's see if the dogs like them. So I bring the last 3 bags of treats and dog food to the register and the treats rang up for $8.98 each. I tell the clerk that there is a sale sign and I took the last 3 bags and I would show her where it was. I took her to the shelf and she said that's where our overflow goes and that's not the price. I said well it says the same product and she said it's for the smaller bag and we can't help where things are placed in a rude manner. I asked to speak to the manager and she asked a coworker who did not have a name tag on but said her name was Brenna and she was the manager. She said that she couldn't change the price because it was not in the right spot even though I informed her where I found the items. I asked to speak with the owner and she said that the owner is rarely there but the general manager will be in tomorrow after 8am. I will be calling back as this is not appropriate and they were both rude. If there is an item placed in the wrong spot and the tag in that spot is for the same item the price should have been honored. I have a choice when buying my dog food and I have always chosen this store but now I am going to question my decision. Good customer service is free! An apology would have helped but the rude remarks were unacceptable. read more

Nothing particularly bad about this place. The employees are friendly and nice. I'll go there sometimes to buy loose crickets between reptile expos. Recently the manager put me in an embarrassing situation where one of his employees put more crickets than I asked for. The manager while I was at the register, rather rudely stated to me that "this isn't right you know it and I know it" while fake apologizing. Being that social anxiety is a real thing for me, I was rather off put by the whole situation. It's not my job to count crickets, that what you pay other people for. He then of course took the bag and emptied it out and refilled it while I waited in line and other customers were rung up. I would not have expected it to be handled this way. Sad to say I won't be returning here. I did not take kindly to the embarrassing situation at the register. read more

A little pricey if you are buying the box store brand foods but if you want the healthy dog food you can't get at Petco, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and they are willing to help carry any heavy items to your car if need be. They are always willing to explain items or help in any way. read more

I was there for the first time recently and was pleasantly suprised at the large selection of dog food they have and other pet supplies. The employees were probably the most helpful and friendly people I've encountered in any retail store. Everybody was extremely helpful not to showing me where to find something but taking me to it. If you buy heavy items or a large amount of items and employee was kind enough to bring everything outside and placing it in my car for me. They also fawned over my puppy that I had left in the car. It was a wonderful shopping experience I will definitely continue to shop there and recommend it highly to anybody that needs to find pet supplies. read more

I would drive across the state to deal with the staff at this location. With cats and fish I'm there at least 2x a month for something or another. Most recently, I had a problem with my 75gallon Aqueon filter. I brought it in to the store (which I also bought it from) and spoke with Ray the store manager. He finished with his customer, took the filter and immediately began taking it apart/troubleshooting it. After exhausting options, instead of having me contact Aqueon to get the issue resolved, he took the burden on himself and told me to take home a new filter. I had purchased the filter back in early June and it was 100% not the stores problem anymore. Granted, I shouldn't have had an issue with the filter being less than half a year old but nevertheless he made my life incredible easy and reinforced my strong feelings for this store and its employees. Ray is always there, always working and laughing with his staff. On my way out of the store, he had said something to make the cashier laugh, I turned to the cashier and said, he looks like a nice guy to work for and she replied, "yeah, he's the best". I've never caught the staff in a sour mood, they are all always so helpful especially my guy Will, the fish aficionado. If you have a fish question, this guy is on the money. I would travel distances to use this store, and I would pay a little extra just for the pleasantry and customer service. read more
