I had never been to Pet Supply before. I am a loyal and frequent customer to one in Lake Forest, but decided to wander in while we waited for a table at a nearby restaurant. Pet Supply, was easy to find, as they are next to Wood Ranch in the RSM plaza. The entrance felt a little cramped. There was enough space to get in and out, just a lot on display right as you walk in. I wish I had arrived sooner so I could really look around. By the time I got there, I think they were about to close. They didn't rush me out though, which was nice. Pet Supply, had a lot to offer. I was impressed with the amount of frozen raw food available. They had a ton of different bowls for both cats and dogs, even ones to help those who eat way too fast. Plenty of options for leashes, pet grooming supplies, lick mats, crates, beds, tons of food. The list goes on. Prices seemed to be about the same for some items while others were cheaper. I ended up buying a nail clipper for the kitties and some good ol' catnip for some funny cat entertainment. I would definitely come back here again. What can I say , WE this store it's one of our favorites- if not our favorite!!! The people that work there - the managers and everyone are the best . You can tell how much they love pets - dogs - puppies . Everytime I go in they always love on Kobie-Star my 7 mo old puppy . They used to love on my Sadie until she was 15 1/2 giving me suggestions on CBD etc to help her relax in her last days . Now 8 months later they help me with chewies for her as she loves chewing . This store has everything- the most healthy foods for dogs - cats - Rabbits - bunnies - reptiles- birds - Leashes and collars - car seats - strollers - I bought one of the most expensive car seats for my Sadie and now Kobie is using it - it is the best . Keeps her safe and she can sleep in it while riding in the car . If you are looking for holiday gifts or costumes this is the place , prices are always good . Went to this small business, a couple of days ago, first time ever!!! This pet supply store has EVERYTHING you could ever need for your furry baby!!!! What a selection! I found this place on the Fromm pet food website, searching for this brand and a couple of other brands. They think of everything, when it comes to merchandise and products. They even carry CBD products for your furry kids, imagine that?!? They carry hard to find brands, and the customer service was delightful! The only thing that makes me a little hesitant to buy more from them, it's their return policy that comes from the 1980's. You have 30 days, BUT NO CASH or CC refunds?? Just store credit only! Wow!!! In a competitive pet supply market, they need to lax on that policy, in my opinion. The staff was helpful, and of course, so knowledgeable about pet food ingredients and such. So, before you buy from them, make sure that the food has NOT expired, and you are certain on your purchases. I checked the food expiration dates before checking out, no issues on that. Also, they don't offer local delivery, which would be so more convenient for pawrents who have busy schedules. Overall, I had a pleasant experience, and I would recommend them for all your pet supplies. Very well organized, helpful and friendly staff, and a huge selection of food and items, and I mean the high quality food brands. No purina, here! And their prices are equal or little less than their competitors, I checked around and compared from online to other small businesses, on certain things and food brands. Although I much rather support small locally owned shops than corporate giants, I'm learning the disadvantage of the mom and pop shops. I reached out to rsm pet supply multiple times to the email address on their website and got no response whatsoever. Why are you listing an email address on your site if you dont actually respond to emails? So I reached out on social media, both in the comments and in the messages, and still got no response. Why have a social media if you ignore customers there as well? I have shopped here for over a year and the lack of response to customer's inquiries is very disapointing. I like this family/local owned pet supply store. They have a couple of stores scattered across Orange County and I'm glad they have one in my city. They are well stocked with dog and cat supplies. They have a way better selection of dog harnesses here than they do at Petsmart down the street and there is a specific brand that I use for my dog that they only sell here. I absolutely love this store! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable on various products food recommendations and every day needs for your pets. I can't even imagine that anyone else would review it in a negative light, unless of course they only visited once, in which case they should not leave a review as that's not a fair assessment. But of course, some people... Given that I also have a Chewy subscription, I would say the pricing is quite comparable (sometimes it's a couple dollars more). I've never asked, but I'm sure they would price match. Maybe worth asking next time. There is also a guy that comes every Tuesday to clean teeth and he is like a magician with animals. He does not sedate them but rather wraps them like a little mummy in a towel and brushes their teeth with the machine. Usually you have to go to the veterinarian and have your dog put under, which is costly and scary. This guy will let you know right away if he can clean your dogs teeth or if they need more in-depth service by the vet. Just ask the guys at the front desk and they can schedule your beloved pet for a dental cleaning. read more

Wow, what a great pet store. This was my first visit and just stopped by to take a look. I was pleasantly greeted and given some guidance on the layout of the store. I wasn't looking for anything particular, but found a wall filled with the kind of leashes I've been searching everywhere to find. They had every size and color you could imagine and very reasonably priced. My puppy leaves my lawn with yellow spots, but I don't want to give her any product with chemicals to fix the problem. I spoke to the manager, JJ, and he told me it was due to acids and female dog urine. Therefore, I found out it has to do with diet. He gave me a huge sample bag of Canine Caviar, an all natural dog food that helps in balancing the acid in her diet. I was impressed that they were knowledgeable about dogs and they were also so friendly and generous. I will try to do my pet shopping here and will recommend to my friends. read more

This pet supply is so awesome and helpful. When I first got my pitbull back in august of last year I was worried that they were gunna deny me but the staff at the time greeted us with open arms. Fast forward to today and they still welcome me and Rocco with so much love. The staff is 10/10 always super helpful. Natalie always gives Rocco love and it really warms my heart and makes me come back. They always tell you on the deals they have and their recommendations on treats/food is awesome. I wish I got the guy's name who recommended My perfect pet low phosphorus dog food and I was adamant to buy it and the owner said she would be happy to give me a sample. Even if you try to return an unopened bag of food they refuse to give you your refund but only give store credit. Not very customer service friendly. Petco and Petsmart are not places that hubby and I typically shop at. Why? Because their prices tend to be higher, they have limited supply in the more natural brands of food and the staff are typically just hourly employees with very little product knowledge. We feel privately owned stores provide a more personable experience and sometimes at a better value. We've been customers of Pet Supply for many years now. We lived in Irvine before and although there's a small location there, we would often make the drive to Fountain Valley since that's one of their bigger stores. After moving to Trabuco Canyon last year, we've tried several local pet supply stores in the area, but none really stood out for us. They were either too small with limited brands or just didn't provide the service we were used to. We were in the RSM area and ecstatic to see this new Pet Supply location. We were told they opened just over a month ago and that April 2015 would be the official grand opening. This location seemed a little smaller than their FV location, but they still had a good selection of food and supplies. And the staff was friendly, passionate & knowledgable. Being that it's much closer than FV, this will now be our go to store. read more

They carry a large selection of high quality pet foods that you just can't find either online or at the other chain stores, with the cost being slightly below norm. I'm sure you could find it cheaper, but not by much. And as they have a couple of stores, if there if one type of food somewhere else they will move it your favorite store on Wednesday and Sundays. read more

There are several locations. Locations carry different products which is a bit inconvenient as one might assume if say the Trabuco store was out of an item...you could find it at the Paseo store. There is a particular product the Paseo store carries and I'd say 80% of the time it is out of stock. When I ask to place an order they kindly take my name and information and then crickets. I call back...there is confusion. They don't know when they will be placing an order...they don't know when the item will be available. They don't seem to have it together. I'm not saying they are not nice and they seem to be able to handle check outs and basic customer service....but they are a bit incompetent when having to think outside the box or do something out of the ordinary like placing a special order. I am deeply hurt and pissed off. I purchased a 15lb bag of Natural Balance cat food on Dec. 23rd. My cats both had explosive diarrhea this past week after feeding them their new food. They have been having diarrhea for more than 3days now. My boyfriend and I checked their treats and the other food we had purchased until I made the discovery today that I was sold expired spoiled cat food. I have the bag and the date clearly says November 2, 2016. I purchased this in December. All I can say is whoever is running this joke place of a pet store needs to check their product. After a pretty disappointing experience with our vet, we turned to our friends at Pet Supply here in RSM next to BevMo and Wood Ranch. Our little Staffordshire, Miss Greyse Mae, broke out in hives Tuesday morning. I treated her at home with a low dose of Benadryl. But during the night she began vomiting. So Wednesday morning we rushed off to the vet for fear it was worse than we expected. Her hives were worse Wednesday morning and quite obvious. Covid has us dropping our fur babies off at the curb and leaving them alone with the doc and vet techs. The doc felt that blood tests were warranted in addition to an injection of steroids and higher dose of Benadryl. I anticipated and welcomed the steroid based on her symptoms. We were invited to pick her up early Wednesday afternoon. She did not look much better and now had the added symptom of lethargy. With hives, you tend to go through the list of common offenders: food, environmental toxins and stress. None of these really jumped out to us for Greyse even with some household stress. Thursday morning the vet called to say that the blood tests didn't really reveal any clues and the treatment plan suggested was Benadryl indefinitely. Because we were now seeing a change in her behavior, Benadryl was not feeling like a great treatment plan. After speaking to Mrs. Batson at Pet Supply, we left feeling like we had a great new plan! A new better than our already good food, a healing shampoo for the hives that had been scratched a little raw, a recommendation for three supplements that would systemically address the hives a bit more homeopathic/naturally and a completely affordable allergy panel to try and determine the possible source of the hives. Sunday night Greyse is already looking and behaving like her normal spunky self. Hives still come and go but with far less volume and she's got her beautiful personality back! Staffys are predisposed to skin issues and autoimmune disorders. But this one really stumped us as Greyse didn't bounce back. We are so very thankful and grateful for the team at Pet Supply for their vast knowledge and loving experience. Sometimes it's just like how to treat your newborn and you need a voice of reason and knowledge to advise. Thank you guys for helping us take care of our little girl. read more
