Freshly cut today. Full size Goldendoodle

We have been going here for a while now for our two dogs grooming in addition to the usual pet food purchases and aquarium supplies. Everyone is always so nice here and they have everything we need. The grooming service has really exceeded my expectations and I'll continue bringing my dogs here! Lovely groomers, great bath and cuts and optional add on services. Just remember to bring a cash tip for your groomer as it's easier to check out in the app on the way over there and you can't tip there!

When I went into the store to pick up my order this item was absolutely in stock.

    1) kids here are not properly trained on how to do a return for a buy-online in-store pickup order. They will try to call it a non receipt return and give you store credit even though you have the receipt on your phone for the online order showing you paid with your credit card. 2) Can't properly shop an online / pickup order. They will say your item is out of stock even if there's lots of them available in store because they don't know how to properly search for items. You then have to walk into the store and still buy the item yourself since they canceled it from your order. 3) Very rude and entitled employees. Minimum wage teenagers giving minimum effort. Although I would say that the minimum wage they're getting paid is way too high for their horrible attitudes. I made $6.75 at their age and treated people with a lot more respect! They literally just roll their eyes at you and walk away when you are voicing a concern. No customer service skills. Poorly trained. 4) My dog and I commonly walk through puddles of urine when trying to shop in the store. This is bound to happen when dogs are allowed in the store and I understand that, but I don't know if they staff enough people to keep it clean or maybe the employees are just lazy about cleaning up the messes. The only positive thing I can say is that when I did call and talk to the store manager, she seemed to care about the customer experience. At least one person has their head on straight. Hopefully, she can implement some positive changes. She is the reason this is two stars instead of one.

I love this store very much because of the cute guinea pigs, birds, and a lot of cool dog toys.

I brought my dog here for a routine anal gland expression with groomer Christina on 1/19/26. Within 24 hours he developed severe swelling that turned into a ruptured abscess and required veterinary treatment. It caused him a lot of pain and resulted in unexpected vet bills. I contacted the store and was told a manager would call me back, but I never received a follow-up. Very concerning experience and disappointing customer service.

This is a review for the grooming department, specifically Christina! She does a great job. I have an unruly giant 8 month old poodle named Lloyd, and she gave him the coolest haircut ever. Take a look at this pic. Everywhere we go, people comment on how good he looks. Also, Lloyd really likes her. I'll be bringing him back again and again!

Golden doodle grooming was great. Doodle owners know that finding a good groomer is difficult, we thought we'd give petsmart a go not expecting much as they are 50% cheaper than other groomers in the area but they did a great job! Most doodle groomers are lazy and will shave to the skin well our dog went in pretty shaggy and they did a great job on the trim. Thanks John!

    Petsmart cats for adoption
    Peter B.

Came here to get my dog a new collar tag and left with some good dog treats and toys. Checked out everything else while I was there. There were cats for adoption in the very back that were really cute and hopefully they get adopted soon! They had Guinea pigs and birds as well as some tiny hamsters. The worker by the fish was a bit rude and the employees weren't super friendly, but otherwise a good experience at the Rancho Mission Viejo Petsmart.

This review is for the grooming department. Everyone's nice and friendly. Special shout out to LINDSAY. She did a marvelous job for making our furbaby look gorgeous! I also appreciate the fact that it didn't take so long. Thank you so much!

I'd worked with two trainers, including a 3 week board-and-train program ($5,000 investment), followed every instruction, and practiced daily, yet I didn't see changes. I was managing the behavior without ever understanding what was causing it. That changed within the first two hours with Brad. He didn't start with commands or tools. Instead, he focused on the psychology behind Sunny's reactions: what was driving them, what was reinforcing them, and what I was unknowingly communicating. No one had ever explained it that clearly. That was the turning point. For the first time, I wasn't guessing or correcting blindly. I could see what Sunny was experiencing in real time and understand how my timing, energy, and responses were shaping his behavior. That clarity changed everything. Walks feel completely different now. Sunny is no longer pulls since my training with Brad, the reactive outbursts are gone, and the experience itself is calm. I'm no longer bracing for problems because I know how to prevent them. I am SO appreciative!

I am so extremely satisfied with Jessica's services that I needed to leave a review immediately…read more(just picked up my pup from getting groomed about 30 minutes ago). I found Jessica through a google search which led me to her yelp page, once I found out more about the services she offered on her site, and that she was nearby I reached out for a quote via yelp. She was very responsive, was able to fit me in within a few days, very straight forward and notified me of what to expect and arriving before the appt to complete paperwork & review the groom service. I took Lucky in this morning, was greeted immediately, checked in and after Jessica assessed Lucky's condition she notified me that he had very matted fur and what she could do/not do depending on the severity of the fur once she started with the grooming, and what to expect from the groom. I like that she thoroughly informed me of the situation, what my options were and that it would cost more due to the added work to de-matt him and the sensitivities that lucky could experience so she would have to be even more meticulous with the grooming. I picked him up in 2.5 hours and she went though how he needed to be shaven all around because of how matted his fur was, where he could experience irritation (what else to expect) and if I need to take him to the vet due to further irritation because of the condition of his skin from the matted fur. Overall I was floored by her knowledge but also very personable nature (something I have not experienced with a previous groomer). I'm so much more informed (as I had inherited lucky and am a new pet owner, so still learning). She even honored the price she had originally quoted me at which I thought was extremely generous given the nature of the groom. I can't wait to have lucky come back to be groomed and well taken care of by Jessica!

UPDATE 8/12/26:**A few days after I shared my story to the public, Wags posted on their own FB,…read morerevising the story about how Raven broke lose. "Two sibling dogs were being moved to our Tiny Town building when they became nervous and began pulling at their leashes and flailing. After bringing them back inside, our staff member decided to carry them for a second attempt. While being carried, the dogs became distressed again. One bit the staff member's hand, and during the struggle, the other got free and ran away." This social post includes details we were not originally told, ie the flailing, distress, biting, 2nd attempt to move them, etc. In fact, prior to this incident the staff consistently raved about how gentle, sweet, well behaved my dogs are (& documented this too). If the pups were truly "distraught," what caused this change in behavior (for example, fear of larger dogs they were moved in with?); and if they were "flailing," how would carrying them both outside simultaneously be safer or more effective in transporting them? Their FB post reads like a cover-up. When I attempted to respond on their FB, my message was instantly deleted and my account blocked. Furthermore, I attempted to log into my Wags online account to gather more information, however, the account was already deactivated. Sadly, after Raven's death I have learned from multiple tangible sources that there have been numerous incidences with mistreatment of dogs (both Tustin & RSM locations). One specific employee (the one who mishandled sweet Raven) is still currently employed at RSM to this day with no repercussion, AND in the past has caused dogs to be sent to vets for mishandling. How are the Wags owners allowing this to happen??? They indicate they are updating protocol.... I want to know specifically what they are doing to make changes, and why is that employee still employed?? THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE IN SO MANY WAYS! I do feel for the majority of the staff who are dog lovers - they are overworked and not all properly trained for emergencies. My message to dog owners: do your due diligence and research. If you have any doubt, would you risk boarding your pet at Wags & Wiggles after hearing these accounts? Thank you for reading and for helping protect our pets. Please share this story as you see fit. Rest in peace, our sweet Raven. You are forever loved and will have a special place in our hearts. Your sister Charlotte looks for you every day and misses you tremendously. We will continue to seek justice for you and other dogs who were injured along the way. Most importantly, let's prevent this from ever happening again.

Watching Instagram and YouTube videos won't give you a well-behaved dog. Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!
