I go to Jeffrey's for snacks for Harold. I asked for their feedback and they said Amy is great. Her prices are fair and her energy is very positive and calming. Bring your precious baby to her shop! Support small businesses in North Beach!

At first Valentino was shy, Amy told me she stepped away to make Valentino comfortable I liked that she showed me a sample example of the different shortness of cuts! She really listened to what I wanted. As promised Valentino was done within 2 hours! I am definitely happy !

Teddy bear cut! Cutest roundest face!

Was looking for a groomer in North Beach and found this gem! I'm SO grateful to have found Amy -- my dog was so excited to arrive (which he's often really anxious when we come into any groomer salon) and... well, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves She was attentive to my instructions and made sure I was satisfied with his haircut before heading out. I am SO impressed. Thank you thank you thank you! HIGHLY recommend and will be coming back!

Our first time with Amy but it won't be our last. Amy was very accommodating, clean, kind, gentle and efficient. I highly recommend her for your fur babies grooming needs!

Would definitely recommend bringing your dog here! Amy just opened up her shop and she's already the talk of the neighborhood. She's passionate about dogs and trains on her own time for dog competitions so she is really detailed. Took in my senior dog for a bath and she handled him with arthritis super well. She even helped trim some of his face hairs that were getting long, and he came out very happy and fluffy and cute. She has experience with all types of dogs, playing with and gaining their trust before grooming them. Her prices are also great

    I

mean perfect job. My dog was also so happy and relaxed when he came back. Definitely will go back and highly recommend. Best deals in town

Really good groomer. I've taken my maltese to many groomers over span of 30 years and this place ranks top 3.

Our maltipoo in particular had very difficult grooming experiences prior to Dennise. Dennise is dedicated to serving every dog she grooms regardless of age and temperament. We can attest that she built a strong relationship with our maltipoo that has helped her feel more at ease being groomed (a true feat). Dennise also is the only groomer we have trusted with our bernedoodle puppy which has clearly paid off: our puppy seems to truly enjoy hanging out with all the groomers and other pups when she is in the shop. Dennise is clearly passionate about her work and it is an added bonus that she gives her clients excellent hair cuts. Shout out also to Brian for all of his hard work behind the scenes keeping the business side streamlined. He is kind, friendly, and makes scheduling appointments easy for us which is greatly appreciated. We look forward to continuing to work with Dennise and Brian for many years to come. TLDR; Highly recommend VIP grooming to any dog owners in SF who are looking for compassionate groomers who are passionate about individualizing dogs' care and serving their clients with the upmost professionalism!

They were careless with the lives of YOUR animals. Two dogs without collars or leashes ran out onto the sidewalk behind her and luckily followed her to the other side of the store. They could have just as easily run into the street without collars and been killed! I yelled out about the gate and the lady DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE DOGS WERE FOLLOWING HER. Then she carried one dog back to the other side and the other dog, again without a collar or leash just walked back onto the sidewalk and back to the other side again. They were lucky these two dogs were so well behaved but no matter how well behaved a dog is, they should ALWAYS be on leash when out on the sidewalk. Fortunately all the dogs are safe, but seeing this carelessness I would NEVER BRING MY DOG BACK HERE. If they are that careless with other peoples beloved animals they shouldn't even have a business. Do not trust them to protect your animal while in their care. ** edit in response to owner below: Well it seems other commenters have seen the same, including with their own dogs being off leash outside. So I highly doubt what you're saying is true. Either way, never bringing my dog here again and I'm going to continue to tell others the same. Lastly, if you let shops dogs outside off leash then you are still an irresponsible dog owner. Leashes are required by law for a reason. If you don't care enough about your own dogs to leash them outside, I don trust you with my dogs. You should be fined and your dogs taken before they are harmed.
