He was older but they treated him so sweetly. A few months later, he started to not eat or drink and couldn't really walk. It was his time. They treated us with respect, extreme kindness and that they understood how hard it was for us to say goodbye to our beloved dog. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and cuddle with him. We were allowed to stay through the process and were also given time to spend with him after he passed. I can truly say I have never experienced this type of gift. One of the hardest days for us was treated with sincere affection and kindness ‍

The other time my other cat was sick, they took x-rays, bloodwork, etc. apparently misdiagnosed her. I was charged a very large amount of money. I ended up taking her to an emergency vet a few days later. The emergency vet called absolutely called ACC trying to get the X-rays and bloodwork so they didn't have to repeat it all, and they never sent it over even thought they said they would. I had to pay for all of that to get done again and my cat ended up dying. I also spent $2000 at the emergency vet due to having to repeat everything that was already done by ACC and they didn't send the results as promised. I couldn't wait any longer on them to send the items requested. Overall I know they ended up closing, but wanted to leave this review anyway.

We saw Dr. Cerf for our elderly dog with a sudden severe eye ulcer problem. Dr. Cerf took the time with us to explain everything he knew about what was going on. The doctor and vet tech were perfect and remedied the problem quickly. Everyone, including the receptionist were just pleasant and kind. This is a nice office for our pets. The team here (and there are many I have met and known and could list by name) has walked with us through every stage of our pets' lives, from puppyhood to end-of-life care, and they've always treated us--and our animals--with empathy and respect. I understand that in any medical setting, things don't always go the way we would want. That's part of the reality of working with living beings. But what I've always seen at this clinic is a staff that truly cares--that shows up every day to do what is right by the animals and the people who care for them. The vac almost killed my dog because he was weak to begin with. Now on to the second encounter ...The same dog is almost 15 years old...I ask for them to write a RX for prednisone as that is the only thing that is helping him to eat and walk. They said they would have to do a $200 home visit. I agreed, then they said he would need blood work...Blood work? my dog is on deaths door...there is NOTHING blood work will do to help him...In my opinion it seems this Vet is more concerned about the money than the pet.
