Rude personnel. I took my dog in for a wash and haircut, as I regularly do, and was not informed of a $15 price increase until pickup time. There was no signage indicating a change in pricing, nor was this mentioned beforehand. When I raised this concern, I was told that I should have been charged even more because my dog was "not clean." Who brings a clean dog in for a wash? The new owner is very rude and pricing is unreasonable. I would never go back to this place after being a customer for 5 years.

We unfortunately had to find a new groomer because under the new ownership, they fired the awesome receptionist, never answer the phone anymore and don't even return their customer's calls requesting an appointment. The space feels less welcoming now that they keep the door to the grooming area closed even though it wasn't great to begin with. None of the employees are as friendly as things used to be. I understand the need to have the groomers take over the greeting and check out of customers to save on costs but they are just not up to par. On our last visit, the person that checked us in wrote our number down incorrectly and instead if looking at the appointment book to confirm the number, they just didn't reach us to let us know our dog was done. We finally just went in after not hearing from them. The grooming is ok and they're reasonably priced but if they don't answer the phone and don't return messages, we can't exactly continue to give our business to them. read more

I started bringing my 2 poodles (Buddy & Bailey) to Pet Wash after the pandemic and have never had nothing less than am amazing experience, each and every time. It is very easy to schedule an appt., Saturdays as well and the process from beginning to end has always been seamless. Ricky, one of the main groomers, does exactly what you ask for and the cuts are spot on! Each session also includes nail trimming, anal expression and even cute little bows and bandanas to boot! So disappointed. I have taken one of my 2 cats here before and had no issues. I like to have my cats' nails clipped and to bathe them occasionally and since I don't have a tub and just a shower, it made sense to take them to a professional. However, today I took both of my cats in. My first cat was fine upon pickup. However, my second cat was a wreck. I knew that she might potentially have a bad time, but I shower and clip her nails (she even lets me blow dry her) so I thought it'd be ok. However, my cat was not washed. She had wet herself there and smelled strongly. Her nails were also not clipped at all! What did I pay for?? Apparently nothing. I had to do everything myself when I got home. If my cat was too much, the employees could have informed me they could not work on her and I would have picked her up and understood. However, all the commentary I received was that my cat was bad but she didn't bite anyone. Will not be returning. read more

Nightmare and such a bummer. I didn't want to write this but I have to. It started with our 10k dollar show pom a year ago. We bought a puppy that is similar in color, although way smaller and a boy. They butchered her hair as we asked for the boy puppy to have a puppy cut. It has never grown back. This happened the DAY of our Christmas photos. I vowed I wouldn't return. She offered free grooming and seemed genuinely apologetic so unfortunately I went back. I told the girl at counter I wanted a sanitary trim but please don't go so tight it shows pink skin. In fact please use scissors. She was sassy and said there was no guarantee. I said I'd been here many times and it's a simple request. Not shockingly when I went back nothing had been done at all. Then when I requested her to finish the pup up w the same request ( to use scissors) She handed me back my 10k showdog w her entire Bhole exposed. Just shameless. We get home and the other 4 lb pomeranian paw bled all over our home. Poor babe. Butchered & Bleeding. Not a good look. I'm done here. Called to request an owner call. Nada. read more

Two stars because the cut was cute but -3 stars because my dog ended up with a skin infection shortly after being groomed here. My dog is a homebody. She doesn't like to go outside at all and is aggressive towards other dogs, so for years I've been grooming her myself. But I can't do the glands or her nails because they're black, so I thought I would give this place a shot. The cut was cute but shortly after we discovered wounds on her back and chest. We thought it might just be irritated from their shampoo, but it got worse over the course of the last month and a half. We took her to the vet last week and $500 later, turns out she has a bacterial skin infection and ringworm from dirty clippers. I get that she has a super thick coat and if you don't use the right clippers, they will just get caught in her fur, but this just shows the lack of hygienic practices. My dog literally never goes anywhere. In the last year, during lockdowns, the ONLY place she has gone outside of our home is here. read more

I had the most horrible experience here ever! I had my little fur-baby groomed here several times with no issues...but this last time... I made an appointment on a Friday, asking the receptionist to select a time where she won't have to wait too long to be serviced (as she has horrible anxiety at the groomers). After several hours, I was getting concerned and called in only to find out that she had not been worked on AT ALL. "Sorry, we are really busy." Why did you give me that appointment time?!!?! As if that wasn't bad enough, when I got home I found red marks on my carpet from my baby's bloody toe!! They probably rushed and cut her nails too short...she was licking her toe for hours. I have to update my review because I have since left this groomer and started using Sage's Mobile Pet Spa. On my last visit to the Pet Wash several months ago, Jessica who used to run the counter was no longer there. Jessica would always double check with me to ensure she knew how short to cut my dog's hair. This time, there was a man working at the counter with whom I was not familiar. I assumed when I dropped of my dog that the man I left her with would call me if he had any questions, but I just told him to do the same thing they had done last time. When I picked her up, my heart sunk. They had completely buzzed all of her hair. Also, I will not say that this was a direct link, but I noticed two bumps around my dog's neck that turned into sores. I was trying to figure out what caused it. It could have been a nick from the scissors or cutter they used, or it could have been a spider bite. I took my dog to the vet and even they could not tell us the cause; however, the marks appeared the day after I had taken her hair to get groomed. It's possible it was just a coincidence. After I realized Jessica had left who used to take really good care of me and my dog, they buzzed my dogs hair short without checking and these random bumps on my dog's neck, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I found Sage and her mobile pet spa and have been incredibly happy. I also realized that allowing my dog to remain in a cage until she was groomed caused her a lot of stress. It's better for your dog to have someone groom them one-on-one. read more

Walking in the first thing I noticed was the pink poodle! The next thing was the receptionist with blue hair! Needless to say this place is different from probably any Groomer I've taken my teacup yorkie to thus far. Its def on the edgier trendier side...All together I have no complaints. I only got a pet wash but my little baby came out clean as a whistle and happy as a clam :) She smelled great and was soft and fluffy! I was a little disappointed she wasn't completely dry when I got there but that is probably my only complaint. I will def be back as it was $25 - the same price I pay elsewhere and right down the street! I'm excited to see how a haircut goes and I'm even more excited to see what kind of fun add on's they have available...maybe there will be a pink yorkie in my future! read more
