I've had dogs my entire life, but my current 1 year old Bully that we got during the pandemic is by far the most spoiled. My fiance & I work crazy hours and I travel a lot. When I was living in Woodland Hills, I was always on the go for work and would have to leave town a lot. I didn't have anyone to watch my English bulldog Tony, but also wasn't sure about a boarding service until a coworker recommended Muttserati. She told me that she had used their grooming services before, and the staff was caring and professional. I took Tony there for his next bath and loved the warm welcome I received. The next New York trip I had to take (which was 5 days long), I left my Tony with Mike, and I am so glad I did. He asked the important stuff about my puppy like if he got along with other dogs which he does, if he is an easy going dog or nervous, and if he had a special diet. I just took my pupper, Max to Muttserati for a few days while my sister visited. Max is very energetic, but my sister has two twin babies and Max goes nuts with babies and can hurt them. So until he calms down, I have to have him stay elsewhere. So as you can see, Max can be a bit of a handful at times. The owner, Mike, charged me a pretty reasonable $29 per night and Max got his bed, food and treats from us to be sure they didn't mess up his diet. Mike sent me regular test updates and photos. When I picked up Max, he was EXHAUSTED! He really needs the extra time outside the house. I am thinking I will be bringing Max here once or twice a month just to hang out and socialize. All I had to do was fill out my application and send it to Mike through email. We then scheduled an evaluation for Fluffy and then after he passed we were ready to book. I hosted a family party at my place last weekend and my dog Pickles desperately needed a grooming. Shes a Maltese/Poodle mix and her hair is long and curly. Prior to boarding my dog, Mike asked me to portion out my dogs food in zipper bags, and a few tips and tricks to service my dog better. I took my dog Molly to Muttserati and Mike and his family watched her for 5 nights. The whole entire process, from meet and greet to drop off and pick up, left me feeling comfortable that my pup was in good hands. The price is great, especially considering they have a huge backyard for dogs to play and socialize in! My dog slept in the sunroom which is great cause Molly loves to sunbathe. Throughout my trip away from Molly I got many updates on Instagram and directly on my phone. Which is exactly what I needed because I'm a bit attached to Molly and always worry about being away from her. My dog eats twice a day and needs to go to bathroom every a few hours , they have doggie doors and my dog could go in and out of house anytime he wants. Highly recommend Mike and his family and Muttserati. They were courteous and kind. I felt like they really understood my needs. They listened to specifics about my dog's personality as well. He is pretty wary of other dogs but they had the magic touch. They helped him to be calm and social. Not only that, when I picked him up, he looked great. After trying out several boarding places near us, we were so disappointed and had given up trying to find a safe and happy place for our bull terrier who has lots and lots of anxiety issues. One of our friends in Woodland Hills recommended we try Muttserati because they only take friendly dogs and what seemed to be mostly small dogs. So we called and talked to Mike who asked a lot of questions, and was very kind and helpful when answering all of our questions. Even though it was a drive, we decided to take a chance and board our doggie there when we went on vacation, and it was a wonderful surprise to see a huge fully fenced yard with a nice ramp and a sleeping area for the dogs. We were gone for four days, and Mike sent us updates and great pictures via text messages and it was so comforting that she was happier than ever there! We got an online deal for four day trip to Mexico and couldn't take my dog with me on the cruise, so I found Muttserati on Rover and called him to set up a meet and greet and see his house, Mike asked me a few questions and I stopped by the next day so he can evaluate my dog. He seemed very friendly and Kuma warmed up to him right away, which I took as a great sign, and felt relieved to leave my dog with someone he connected with. Dogs will always let you know who is trustworthy and I felt like Kuma was comfortable here. Kuma is super friendly Pomeranian that wakes up at 6AM for his breakfast and he'll play in the yard all day long. He seemed content to play and had plenty of opportunity to run around instead of being cooped up as he would've been in a boarding kennel. I can't tell you how many bad experiences I've had with other places! Mike sent me pictures of where Kuma's sleeping and his daily interaction with other dogs on Instagram and Facebook. He always looked like he was happy and having a great time and that means the world to me. I loved seeing him play and socialize under a watchful guardian who is good with pets. It felt like Mike cared for him the same way I would have, instead of treating him/us like just another customer. It almost felt like Kuma had his own little vacation and I appreciated that. My dog well behaved under his care and he was very happy when I picked him up. I felt like if he could talk, he would've told me he had a great time and asked when he could go back! Ok I'm projecting a little bit, but it's so hard to find a good place where I feel comfortable leaving my lil buddy for several days. No issues whatsoever , great pet sitter nice family. I booked 4 days of boarding for Labor Day weekend with Mike and I had a very good experience. When calling to enquire information, I was given all the information in full detail. I felt relief by the communication from the very beginning. It was a stressful time and needed help with my fur baby. My pet sitter went out of business after covid, thanks to Yelp I found this family own business for my lovely dog Brody. My search was fast and my decision was clear. I knew I found the right boarding. After searching around the area I knew this was the one. Because my little one can be a handful I had to be sure to choose the right place. Brody doesn't like to be caged and very food-motivated dog during his daycare. I got a few updated pictures on Instagram and I felt very comfortable seeing Brody with other dogs. When seeing these photos my heart melted as I knew he was in good hands. I was thankful for being able to find the help I needed. A stressful situation turned into a great experience. I searched for a pet boarding establishment for a while and found this place. It was so much lovelier than other places I've gone to. Finally I found a second home for my dog when I'm away! I love how friendly they are with the pets. Mike and his parents are great with dogs, they send me update picture of my dog. My dog is very sweet and loves the company. He seems to have a good time at this establishment. My dog eats mix wet food so boarding him could be complicated. I'm happy we found a place that accommodates to his needs. They have ramp playground and many toys in there yard for dogs to play. I love seeing the pets run around happily. My dog gets along with the staff and the other pets. I'll definitely be bringing back my dog again. This is a really great place. I would suggest hiring professional pet sitter and have peace of mind. read more
