Anthony did such an amazing job with my puppy. I was worried she would be difficult because she doesn't like baths usually. She got a very bad report card from another place lol He was so sweet with her as she was a little afraid at first. She came back looking and smelling beautiful. Thank you Anthony!

Once again Panda is a happy pup! Anthony came out today and took such amazing care of my Australian Shepard who just spent 4 days camping. Fantastic grooming! Our 7 year-old Aussie, Hazel, was beautifully groomed. The best work ever done! We could tell she felt happy, more relaxed and comfortable after her wash, deshed and light trim up. Never going anywhere else.

I'm only giving this a two star because my dog ended up looking decent and they were prompt with timing . However, long story short. I told the lady on the phone that they needed to be careful with my dog because he has hip dysplasia. He's very sensitive with his back legs and usually will just sit down when he's uncomfortable with washing. He's the sweetest GOLDEN RETRIEVER you will ever meet. I told the lady to be very gentle and that was that. She brought my dog back into the house and goes "Your dog is nippy, he tried to bite me." I was in complete shock because he's never done that before. I conveyed that was really unusual and asked what was going on during that. She said when she was doing his back legs and picking up his feet. Mind you my dog lets you do all these things when you're gentle. And if he doesn't like it he'll sit down or move. So, that tells me she was really harsh with him. I asked her if she was gentle and restated about his hips and she completely brushed me off saying "I've never had that experience with a golden." We payed and she left. My dog comes in the house crying for about 5 minutes! I am completely horrified by this. Please be careful with pets here especially if they're sensitive. My dog's been groomed several times before and this has NEVER happened.

I have had 4 Australian Shepherds over the past 25 years. Have had several mobile grooming services to my home. Today was my first time having Barkingham Palace to my home. The groomer was on time, excellent with my dog. The fees seem reasonable/average. My dog was absolutely beautiful! I made another appointment next week for my other Aussie. I would recommend this grooming service.

Everything was great from my initial phone call to book the appointment with Emily, to the end with three clean pups - two Newfies and an Aussie. Not an easy gig, but Jaycee was very good with all of them. She was on time for the appointment (a little early even), she asked me what I wanted with the grooming, and then just went to work. From how my babies were acting when they came out of the truck, I know they were well cared for. I think my 11 month-old boy weighs more than Jaycee but she handled him well. I have two happy Goofy Newfies, and a smiling Aussie. Now, everyone needs a nap from all that work. Will definitely call again.

I honestly don't know if I love Jaycee more or if my dogs do. I have a rescued golden with pretty severe anxiety, and trusting anyone with her has always been hard for me. The idea of handing my dogs over to someone I can't watch the entire time used to feel impossible. A few years ago, though, I took a chance on Jaycee--and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made for my pups. From the very beginning, she showed incredible patience, kindness, and care. She didn't just groom my dogs--she took the time to understand them, to meet them where they were, and to gently earn their trust. That meant more to me than I can even put into words. Watching my anxious golden slowly light up around her, and now seeing both of my dogs literally dance with excitement when she arrives, has been the greatest gift. Jaycee isn't just a groomer to us--she's become a person my dogs adore and someone I deeply trust. So so happy with Barkingham Palace! They were super understanding of my pups anxiety and made him feel right at home. They clipped his nails perfectly when he never lets me clip them! With our Shepard Husky girl they cleaned up her undercoat for summer and got her ears all cleaned out! I would 100% recommend this company to anyone! WOW! The entire experience from booking the appointment to the end of the grooming session was perfect. We have a 13 year old Aussie who is weary of new people and very anxious. Emily & Josh made it a point to make her comfortable (as well as me by sending pics throughout the process). Our girl has a very thick coat and had matting behind her ears and was an overall hot mess. She looks like a new pup and smells so good. Excited to get on a regular schedule with the crew at Barkingham. Thank you guys SO much for helping our old mama, Annie! My rescue Havapoo had never been groomed to my knowledge. I scheduled a mobile grooming so he can get clean and get a haircut. The appointment making process was so smooth and easy, and the owner Emily (I believe that's her name!) was so accommodating to make my pup feel as comfortable as possible for his first grooming. She really listened to me and made me feel confident in them. Nicole came today to groom Lucky, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about her. She listened to me as well, and from the beginning treated Lucky as if he was hers. I felt so comfortable having her take him. She took her time, and even updated me with how he was doing!! Lucky did amazing with her, and came out looking amazing!!! He's so soft and fluffy and looks like a whole new dog. I cannot recommend Barkingham and Nicole enough!!! read more

We used them for the first time today due to great reviews. Also because my dog gets nervous when I take him to a grooming place so I decided to do a mobile grooming. I also payed $110 for the service I thought it was a lot because my dog doesn't even get a haircut since he's a pit bull but anyways their service was good ears cleaned, smelled good. Except on his nail trimming they hurt him or cut to much my dog is bleeding non stop. I wished they could've communicated when it happened They didn't let me know when they finished the service I noticed once I took him inside. I don't think we will use them again. We had the best experience getting our dog groomed ever! We had been to so many places who took our money and and told us our dog was too wild to actually cut his hair. Sam came and our dog fell in love with him!! He spent the time to bond with our dog and to make sure he had the best experience possible and it shows in the quality of his work! Who let the dogs out?…read more Who, who, who, who, who? No! Not the song from the year 2,000... Literally, there are some dogs running all through the parking outside of 3 tails Dog Salon... Haha True story? Maybe A Hook just to grab your attention?? Probably Will you ever know the truth??? Absolutely Not ;) But hey, you made it this far, so let's just keep on going. Approximately a year or so ago... I was shopping at my local Trader Joe's and in the parking lot (NO, there were no dogs on the loose), but there was a table set up with 2 girls advertising a new Dog Salon that was opening right next to T.J.'s. As we were on the hunt for a new dog groomer (our last one turned out to be a nightmare), we were excited to know that one was coming soon and it was literally right down the street from our house. So I took a business card and asked how comfortable they were with working with Pugs (which are not big fans of getting their nails clipped) to which they replied "they could absolutely do it." Within a week from my initial interaction with the 3 Tails staff in the parking lot, I made an appointment with the gal behind the counter named X.O. Little did I know then, but X.O. would soon be the one who would always ensure our sweet pug named Teddy was in good hands every time we would bring him here for a nail trim. X.O., you truly are the BEST!!! Since Teddy's first nail clipping here, we have been back pretty much every 2 to 3 weeks and over time, Teddy has seemed to get less and less anxious when it came time to go in for a nail trimming. In the beginning, I'll admit that I too would be a little anxious and would nervously wait for him right outside while he was in the back getting his nails done. Nowadays, I just drop him off with no cares in the world and go shopping at T.J's. Within 20 minutes or so, my Teddy boy is ready for pick up and he seems to be unfazed. I truly believe that it's the 3 Tails Team that works their magic and their genuine love for dogs brings a calmness not only to the dogs themselves, but also to their nervous-nelly pet owners (aka me). Other than nail trimmings, 3 Tails Dog salon offers the following: Baths, Grooming, Teeth Brushing, Ear Cleaning, Anal Glands Service and Day Care is also available. I'm not sure we will be able to continue providing services for you as your schedule is constantly changing and as I explained, we service your are very infrequently. I'm thinking to myself my schedule isn't set in stone and most definitely not mine things change and things come up. My response was you said you had availability next week and can she let me know the days as I may have a scheduling conflict as I mentioned before. A delay in response but she text back stating I will get back to you. I understand, but if we can't accommodate the changes it might be best to find someone that is in your area more often andhas a more flexible schedule. By this time I'm a little irritated with all this back and forth, just let me know what you have available and I'll decide the rest. Next text response is Our office opens at 9AM You will hear from me after that. Again I'm thinking to myself why are you responding to me before your business opens now all of a sudden you want to communicate at 9 ugh ok. Some Of the things she is telling me is uncalled for so I tell her that. I asked whom I was talking to and she said Heather I'm the scheduling and operations manager. I gave her some advice on being more professional and having a business mindset. No way to talk to customers, well text since this is all she does, someone is giving you business and you want to get snarky? Received another text after I told her about being professional, the text stated I am canceling your appointment on Saturday and will not be rescheduling your dog. No further services will be provided. Have a nice day. I couldn't do nothing but laugh. Truth and fact of the matter is have some business etiquette even if you are texting and accept the feedback I gave you not cancel my appt and being mad shows your unprofessionalism. Less is better over text and all that extra you was telling me wasn't necessary. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Have a blessed day and work on having a business mindset.

The feedback was that my 8 month old puppy moved her head while trying to cut her face. She's a puppy. Also, was recommended a shitzu cut when I have a Lhasa apso. Overall, I did not feel appreciated and paid $100 for lousy customer service where I really did not welcome in their establishment. Which is crazy, because I have a really sweet dog that loves everyone and everyone loves back. It was just so weird. Still searching for a good fit for a groomer. I know there is competition in the area and other grooming businesses that are aware that customer service and client relationships are how you build a strong following and enjoy successful longevity as a business owner.

The first time we went we saw Dr. Kohltfarber. He was very kind and explained what was going on in clear language, and answered all of our questions about how to care for our dog after leaving. The most recent time we went we saw Dr. Ferdowsian. She had to share some scary news with us but was so professional and down to earth that, even though I did feel a bit panicked, I was able to ask all of the questions I needed to and I left feeling hopeful about our dog's plan of care. She also contacted us after our visit to check in and was very compassionate and attentive with all of our concerns. Because of her quick findings at our most recent visit, we were able to get our dog scheduled for surgery at a specialty center that same week to have the issue resolved. Now our dog's quality of life is back to normal, and we couldn't be happier. They are also very clear about costs, including explaining all of our options for diagnostics and treatment. We felt their costs were fair too. We never felt confused or lost, even when we brought our dog in for a more complex problem. If your pet has an emergency I would absolutely recommend them.

No one wants to go to a veterinary urgent care…read more Overall, we had a good experience here. Our boy Atticus was having problems urinating. The staff at Oaks Veterinary were very kind to us and sat us in a semiprivate room up front while Dr. Jimenez did some tests on our kitten (he's 12, but he'll always be our kitten). The diagnosis was Feline Idiopathic Cystitis and we were sent home with a variety of medicines, some cans of prescription urinary care food, and orders to follow up with our primary vet in about a week for more tests. Everything was pretty pricey at $1700, so I appreciated that they gave us the cans of food for free (which our primary vet didn't do when we eventually followed up). They also sent the records over to our primary vet, which I appreciated. I had to follow up with the office staff about getting copies of the records for myself and, when I reached out with concern about how long it should be taking Atticus to recover, it took about 5 days to get back to me. Those are the only reasons it's not 5 stars. Lots of parking and food places nearby if you need to wait.

Let me just begin by saying I've had yet ANOTHER amazing experience with Barkingham Palace Mobile groomers. This company is just fantastic but it's their employees that make it truly GREAT!! The wonderful humans they employ are absolute gems and LOVE what they do! They are KIND, caring, courteous, timely, professional and extremely talented. Not to mention VERY personable (which I, very much appreciate). Here at our house our dogs are FAMILY and I want whomever is caring for them to treat them as such. Sadly, because life is crazy busy this review is a year in the making, (more like - a year late) and I'm sorry it took so long. But! This most recent appointment(s) were just so good I had to make the time, sit my butt down and FINALLY write about it. So, get comfy.... Cause I'm wordy. (My husband refers to it a tad differently, but whatever :-) Anywho, we scheduled two appointments within the last month (We usually do all 3 fur babies at the same time, but this month my youngest gsd had double ear infections so he was left out of the last appointment -per our vet. It was these last two appointments where I got to meet Raylynn for the first time. (Not worried at all because every groomer that's been sent to us is always wonderful). First, straight facts; Raylynn is an incredibly talented groomer and second -she is amazing with my dogs. Right out of the box my dogs gravitated to her. This is not always the case with my German shepherds because they are very intuitive and tend to "check energy" for a bit longer than other dogs. Not so with Raylynn. I could tell almost immediately my boys felt very comfortable around her. Neither of my boys has ever laid down at a strangers feet (especially a groomer with all their exciting smells) But they were perfect gentlemen and waited patiently for their turn as we talked. So, needless to say, I was very impressed (actually shocked is a better word). You know what they say; dogs can read energy better than humans, so - trust them." Well, to say the very least - they were spot on. I don't think my dogs have ever looked this good or been this happy after they've been groomed - EVER! It really says a lot about someone when my dogs cry to get into the van and then whine as she drives away. I could go on but I see you yawning (not sure I would've even gotten to this point, so good for you)! I will end by saying, Bravo Emily and the incredible team you've put together. I know I've told you this but, keep up the good work!! You are setting the bar VERY high! Raylynn is exceptional at her job and always keeps me posted about my dogs behavior or any issues she may see - which I appreciate. I also really like the fact that I done have to medicate my dogs like I've been asked to with past groomers. It really goes to show, if you're a competent groomer - little or NO MEDS should be needed! Ariel is another gem that my pups just love to pieces! Oh!! I think you gained at least two or three new customers tonight because there was a crowd of neighbors at the van chatting with Raylynn before she left. PS: is there a referral bonus? I have always had a great experience with Barkingham Palace. With short hair dogs I have no problem bathing them myself, other than i can be lazy. Lol. But my huskies hair gets out of control. Long, wet and sticky hair all over me and my walls afterwards is not fun to clean. Barkingham keeps my doggies pretty, which keeps my house cleaner and me happy. The staff is always friendly, always on time and my dogs love them. I love being able to still accomplish things at home, and not leave the house. It is worth every penny and more. Today my Romeo was groomed by Raylynn. She was super caring and sweet. He was shedding pretty bad. Now he is so clean and fluffy. Thank you Raylynn and Barkingham Palace! read more

this place is extremely pleasant and informative. My dog is not the best with her feet and sometimes her romp other groomers have even turned us away because of such thing. the groomer raylynn had nothing but utmost patience and encouragement for our fur baby and I actually saw a goofy side of my dog today afterwards which was very encouraging that she feels so comfortable in barkingham palaces care. She is delightful to say the least I highly recommend even with pets who need a little more love and time. I really appreciate employees who go above and beyond for animal care since I've seen so many of mine and my girlfriends babies be treated so terrible. Gave me hope again. read more

I have an 80 lb., 3 year old Golden Doodle named Laker who requires a ton of grooming, patience and doggie devotion to get the job done beautifully. Barkingham Palace has been grooming him for the past 3 years. I cannot offer high enough praise for their professionalism, skilled expertise and yeah, patience, lots and lots of patience. The groomers seem to love the challenge Laker presents and are committed to handing me back a beautiful, handsome, happy dog... not a hair out of place! I had been looking for a new mobile groomer for my 14 1/2 year old standard poodle for 2 years, as my wonderful groomer was no longer able to take her. I went through a few of them. The inconsistency and reliability I was coming across was disheartening. Then I found Barkingham with Emily and Jaycee, who's been grooming my Gracie, and I couldn't be happier. Josh did a wonderful job grooming Coco, our almost 2 year old German Shepherd Mix Rescue. She is always playing in the dirt and grass and really needed a nice bath and brush. I would recommend Josh grooming your dog. This is the first time I used this service and price quoted increased due to the time it took to care for Coco, which I understood. This was such a convenience, instead of putting her in my car, driving her to the groomer and having her wait at the groomer with all the other dogs which gets her excited, and stressed, and then having to pick her up again. We cannot say enough nice things about Barkingham Palace, and our groomer Jaycee! She took care of all of our pets with such love and attention. She made sure she understood what we wanted in terms of bathing and styling. The end result is amazing, our dogs have never looked so good or been so happy after a bathing/grooming session. All 3 of our pups were trying to follow her out the door as she left. We now have a standing appointment, and even though the Barkingham Palace vehicle just pulled away, our pets are already looking forward to their next appointment. I have had many many dogs over the years. I have used all different types of mobile groomers. I hate the thought of dropping my dog off at 9 in the morning and picking them up at 5. Barkingham Palace is the answer to all of my dogs needs. They are easy to make an appointment. They text you when they are in the way to your house. And most of all the groomer, Tai, greeted my dog and loved her for a few minutes before even starting the grooming. Tai was fast and efficient. My dog was beautiful, clean and happy when it was all over!! I whole heartedly recommend Barkingham Palace to any and all dog owners!! read more

Barkingham Palace is a first class act. The owner works very hard to satisfy your needs and she does. The company is punctual and courteous. A great grooming company! What a joy to not not have to load your dogs and take to the groomer, The grooming truck comes right to your home or office. The best part is your dogs are more relaxed and happy to see the groomers, no long day in a kennel crate. Good for dogs and great for the owners. Ray was the groomer who attended to Cook the first visit and we have rescheduled routinely with Ray twice now. Barkingham Palace has been grooming my dogs for years. We tried so many groomers and had so many bad experiences before we finally found a groomer we love. I am absolutely thrilled with the service from Barkingham Palace! Our groomer, Josh, did a fantastic job and even stayed extra long to make sure our dog was perfect. We have a German Shepard that needed some love and I could not believe how great she looked when she was finished. Josh knew exactly how to handle her extreme anxiety and they were best friends by the end. Amazing experience overall. Ray and Sarah at Barkingham Palace have groomed our shih tzu Chewy multiple times now and every time has been a great experience. Chewy gets full service in the spacious air conditioned truck, a bath, a shave, nails clipped, ears cleaned, and a cute bandanna to top it off when he's done. Also, we never have to wait long to get an appointment, they are very responsive, and accommodating to busy schedules. Very thankful to have found a company that has groomers with such compassion and care. I have an old golden that refused to walk at all for months. I got booked with Rae and she worked with my dog's comfortability. A few of her nails were curling into her pads and she fixed it the last time a saw her, and by the next appointment she was fully walking around and happy. my little raptor had crazy dewclaws and the last person missed them completely , neglected her as well :( , was astonished by the inadequate service and horrible customer service skills! my girlfriend recommended these guys as she saw them in the neighborhood and tried them. My dog was getting pretty furry and with the excessive heat wave that's currently going on I really wanted to get him shaved quickly to relieve him a from the heat. I called Barkingham Palace to set up an appointment and they were able to come out the very next business day! My dog got his 'summer' cut and is now able to deal with the heat more comfortably. Real professionals here. I was taking my dog to a salon for a while before noticing my dog would be mortified to go in, more so than his vet visits. Enter Barkingham. Raylynn was extremely knowledgeable and totally has a way with dogs, he was jumping with excitement around her from start to finish.
