My pretty pretty princess loves pet wash. She always gets a great shampoo and blow dry. They even give her a special cream rinse conditioner and let me know if her ends are getting split! This place is clean and they are so nice. Make an appointment in advance as they fill up on the weekends. Plenty of parking and reasonable rates. I look my dog here about 6 months ago for a grooming. They did a good job, not perfect. I did end up having the even out some of the hair on her ears but it wasn't bad. I remember the price being moderately affordable. It was also done very quickly compared to a larger chain like Petsmart. I try to do my own grooming in between visits to save money. When my husband and I lived in Los Angeles, we took our two Shih Tzu's here twice. Our shih tzu's are very nervous and hate the groomers, so we are always weary and proceed with caution to groomers. While they may not be the friendliest group of people that work there, I was very very pleased with the result both times. Honestly for the 7 years we have owned these dogs, this is the best grooming we have ever received for them. They listened to what our needs/wants were, and our shih tzu's were never cuter or softer or cleaner! Their haircut grew out better than it ever had with the cutest face shapes ever. They are a little pricey, I did wish the cost was about $10 cheaper, but since it is the "range" we usually pay, I was glad to get the results I did paying a little more. I ONLY trust Pet wash with my King Charles, Charlie! He is always so excited when I bring him in because he gets excellent treatment. Their prices are pretty normal and the service is amazing. Staff is always super friendly and when I've watched them groom the dogs, they're always super gentle. I typically call the same day and they always do their best to accommodate us. Charlie always smells so amazing and they groom him perfectly and evenly for a dog with so much hair. We've tried many different places, but always end up coming back here because they never disappoint! I highly recommend going to them. :) read more

I've brought my dog to the Pet Wash a couple of times since we live right up the street. The first couple of times we had no issues - our dog is pretty easy - she's got super short hair and just needs a quick wash. But the last time we took her there, she was literally shaking from the moment we dropped her off - not a reaction we've ever seen her have to a place (especially if she's been there before). And then when I picked her up, she didn't want to come out of the kennel when the guy went to get her, even though she could see me and usually runs right to me. As soon as I got home, I noticed that FOUR of her nails were bleeding from the nail trimming. I'm hoping this visit was just a fluke, but the nail thing combined with how much she hates it means I won't be bringing her back. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I would not recommend working with Ricky he hurt and cut through my dog's skin very badly and rudely denied that he did it. He put our dog through weeks of pain and did not even apologize for what he did. When I addressed the situation to the owner he did not do anything about it and once again did not even apologize for what they did. 3.75 stars... What's in a name? Pet Wash is as simple as their name. A decent, convenient place to get your pet washed. They do grooming, too, along with nail trims and all of the normal things you see at a groomer. Make no mistake, though. This is not a fancy foo-foo salon, just a basic get 'er done kinda shop. I've walked in twice without a reservation and they've cheerfully brought our Goldendoodle in for a wash. I would recommend calling ahead, though. Two or so hours later he's all clean and brushed out and feeling like a puppy again. $40 for the 30 pound pooch. Prices are reasonable and vary with the size of the dog and complexity of the job. M prefers the smell of her old groomer's shampoo, as PW's stuff left O-dog clean but with little residual shampoo smell. Heather offered a mango-something-or-other perfume, but we declined. The lack of shampoo smell could be a good thing, though, especially if a family member has allergies. Just don't expect Fido to come home smelling like eu de parfum and you'll like PW. Easy, accommodating, and reasonably priced. Convenient, too. That's simply what Pet Wash is. Just like the name. PS As always, folks, I try to keep it real. Tough to do in SoCal, my friends. So, let me put on my black and white striped referee shirt and throw a yellow flag. Although Pet Wash is not 5 stars, neither is it 1. When you get this business on the phone..which is rarely just wait til they get you in there! When I dropped off my nervous fearful dog I was greeted by a woman with a young girl (about 7yrs or 8) who was crowding my dog and shadowing her "grandmother" who owns the place..when the woman led my dog back the little girl followed close behind and came face to face with my dog..making her more nervous as she is NOT used to children.. Don't bother with these people! When I came to pick my dog up I was once again surprised by the price they charged for a quick wash..NO CUT, NO GROOM...it goes up with the "mood" of the day...Call Brandon's Mobil Groom and do yourself and your pet a favor..don't put them through the hassle at PET WASH....:(((((((( read more

Easy, fast, friendly. I come here to get my dogs nail trim because petco in Westlake Village turned me away twice saying his nails were too long. I never got this at any other Petco locations. I decided to come here instead because it is super convenient and the staff are very nice. Highly recommend if you need a quick nail trim. You don't need an appointment. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. First of all, it's impossible to call this place to set an appointment, no one answers, you have to basically show up just to get an appointment and then come back again for your appointment. I took my dog here twice, both times I brought a picture of what I wanted her haircut to look like, both times I was highly dissatisfied with the haircut. The second time I brought my dog back and asked that they please fix her haircut because it honestly looked like they hadn't even cut it at all. I had to come back another time for them to fix it because again, it's not like I could have called because no one answers. It looked horrible, after they fixed it, it still looks horrible. I'm pretty certain a child could have cut my dogs hair and made it look better. Not even worth the cheap prices they charge. read more

I've been taking my miniature schnauzer to Pet Wash for years and have had satisfaction every time. They usually tell me what time I can pick him up even if its very busy. This allows me to run errands during that time. I live close by and they will give a call if they finish before the stated time. They're affordable, friendly, and very accommodating. read more

We used to take our dogs here all the time, 6 times per year for the past 3.5 years. This recent visit ended our business with them. We always give instructions to not cut their hair everytime we go, however they proceeded to chop the dogs hair. We've all bad haircuts in our life so I could have let it go, but the fact that when my husband called them to complain they denied cutting their hair altogether. Lying and denying to customers is just bad business. You think we seriously don't know when our pomeranians got a chop job...Aside from that, one of our dogs is now biting his legs compulsively. He has little bumps all over his body too, kind of like pimples. This ties back to our other dog developing a weird bug bite right after we picked her up after the last visit here. She ended up biting the area so aggressively that the vet had to shave the area and apply antibiotics. I'm not sure if it happened at the pet wash but with the other dog now biting the bumps right after his visit there, it seems too much to be merely a coincidence. read more

I tried twice this week to get my dog washed. The first time I called they wouldn't take our dog because they wanted to close early that day and would not let me leave our pet there till 4pm! They close at 5pm! Today I went in at 4pm and asked if they would wash the dog today..their "busy day". I was told because they close in an hour they will would not accept the dog. After some pleading and explaining this is the second time they have turned me away...they did agree. But I was barked at..told I need to bring my pet NO LATER THAN 3PM. THERE WE NO OTHER DOGS THERE except one who I think was their dog. They were rude...far from gracious for the business. They have no website and seem to be be running their business at the bare minimum. The only thing I will give them credit for is the prices are very reasonable. But their attitude today clearly indicated someone hates their job. There was ZERO good customer service. I will NEVER bring my pet back. i would rather drive further than be yelled out by an employee who has no idea how to run a business. read more
