My in-laws bought me a gift basket from this company for my birthday. It was a random selection of bath products that were obviously picked up from the drugstore. The lady on the phone was super rude when I asked if I could just bring the products back and they could refund my in-laws for a portion and they said no that they had bought these items specially for my basket which I feel is not true. 130.00 wasted. I give many stars and praise to Katy Flowers and the excellent customer care provided. I reside in Los Angeles, Ca and in need of a florist to deliver a birthday bouquet to my sister who lives in Katy, Tx. I searched Yelp for the local florist in Katy. Katy flowers certainly had a beautiful selection of choices, however I had to trust my gut that this was the florist to take my business. After placing my order with Valentina, who graciously accomadated my customer needs, I requested to have a photo sent of the finish product before it went out for delivery. However, the photo was forgotten to be sent, but addressed thoughtfully by having the driver take photos of the flower arrangement and send to me. Which he did The special to this story is that he did a full on photo shoot every angle was covered lol. My sister was so surprised by the delivery and could not stop raving about how beautiful the flower arrangement was. So thank you Katy Flower's for a job well done. Attached are screen grabs from my sisters surveillance cam that shows how the delivery guy made sure I got those pics! So awesome!!..and he actually said to my sister 'Your Sister was very clear about sending her a picture' lol And yes Sir, mission accomplished. Thank you Katy Flowers! read more

I was a long time customer and just had a huge hassel with Katy Flowers ... they wouldn't deliver to an inside luxury apartment due to covid... not even with a mask... wish this was mentioned earlier. Recipient had no call or text record from them even though they said tried calling. After years of ordering flowers through Katy Flowers... cancelled my order and can't trust to use them again. Terrible flower shop. They absolutely will not deliver anything that closely resembles what you order. What fun is that? Look at their disclaimer that makes them feel totally okay to do so. Over priced, no design, poor quality...and not what I ordered. My go to now after this establishment (hate to call the a florist) is Amazon if you can believe. I expected fresh, someone who would bend over to make an arrangement right, customer service that existed and an arrangement that wasn't just plain awful. It could so easily be duplicated from any old grocery boquet for 6.99 and they have the nerve to charge like 65.00!! I am writing to complain about the arrangement I ordered for a funeral service for my Aunt. I chose this business since I have ordered flowers from them before...plus I recently received a beautiful dish garden made by them in honor of my mother's passing. Since that was so beautiful I thought ordering from them would give me no problem and I expected a very similar fabulous arrangement. We ordered a Peaceful Tribute Arrangement that came out to $286.85 but what arrived at the funeral home was nothing close to what we were expecting. I read their substitution policy after having seen what they sent...but because I ordered an arrangement with colorful flowers I thought we would at least get that but we received ALL white flowers. We had also thought we were receiving a decent ceramic vase but instead got a basket??????? I contacted them the next day to let them know and basically the owner said that since the funeral home only allowed for flower delivery by the morning that day, they didn't have time to order the flowers so they put something together and delivered it by 9am that day. I asked if they couldn't fulfill this order with what was described on your website, then you could have at least contacted me to tell me and to offer other suggestions or give me a chance to order something else. This payment for this arrangement was split up between 8 people so now we have 8 different people who were dissatisifed with their product and services. Their website also offers same-day delivery so I can only imagine what that would have looked like if it was a same-day request, but ours wasn't. Furthermore, the owner asked what we wanted for this complaint (she didn't offer any apology that we were so upset or disappointed) nor was she phased that I have been a loyal customer of hers ordering several times for other past funerals or occasions. She didn't seem to care about that. She finally offered to give a $75 refund, but I was at least hoping for her to create another arrangement that could have been sent to the family as redemption but instead she rudely said "I don't need any rude customers like you" then hung up. I was never rude to her, just making a request. I was truly shocked because I have had such great service from previous orders in the past. After this we will NOT be doing business with them ever again. I have had better experiences with other florists for deliveries for funeral/wake services and never had this issue before! An exceptional one in the Sugarland area is Flowers by Adela! They sent some beautiful flowers! We only chose Katy Flowers this time because we wanted to help out our local florists. So please, reconsider doing any business with Katy Flowers in Tiger Square location. They obviously do not know how to treat loyal customers nor how to improve any situation given to them! This place is ABSOLUTELY horrible. I went here to get flowers for a funeral service for a family member. I was received by the "assistant" who had no answers to any of the questions that were asked. She would in turn ask the florist for help, who was supposedly on the phone for an hour but had enough time to give her vague response. The icing on the cake was the "assistants" asking if the red flower arrangements I requested were for the "crips." As young BLACK/HISPANIC professionals, did we really give you that impression? Nonetheless, it was the blatant disrespect, lack of compassion, empathy, and customer service within my visit that solidified it. If you are mourning your family member and want proper help to set a beautiful arrangement for their spiritual departure, DO NOT COME HERE. They'll consider their phone calls more important than their live customer. read more

I received a beautiful surprise bouquet of roses from my sweetie last week. These roses were the most beautiful I'd ever seen. They looked like they had just been cut off the bush when I received them and they were the longest stems I'd seen as well. Even the baby's breath looked freshly picked. I received them Tuesday late afternoon and by Friday I noticed a couple of heads starting to droop. I just wish they would have lasted longer. I'd even turned the ac down when they arrived to keep the house much cooler. Not sure how Katy Flowers was selected since he was in Atlanta at the time, I didn't ask (Sorry, I didn't realize I hadn't posted this. I received a beautiful arrangement of flowers for Mother's Day & a box of candy. I would highly recommend them.

I Would not recommend this place to people. They did the bouquet for my sisters wedding and the bouquet she had showed them was very voluptuous and the bouquet she received was small and looked like a knock off version of what she ha wanted. Since they aren't open after 5 my sister could not get to them after work to see the bouquet herself so someone else had to pick it up. She was very upset and it cost a good amount of money. Fast forward to four months later and my mother calls to tell them what happened not wanting anything in return just wanted to explain how her experience was and the lady was very rude with her on the phone and would hardly let my mom say anything mostly the lady just told her that my mom and sister could've done things better. I was looking forward to using this place for my wedding also but after this fiasco I don't want to risk it. read more

I have mixed feelings on this place. Been here twice. The first time was great and their customer service was pretty good. The second time, it was like 10 minutes after 5pm two days before Valentines Day and they were locked up tighter than a drum. I would think that during a florists BUSIEST time of the year, you'd extend hours to suit customers (kinda like the malls do during Christmas!). Not living local you can never be sure when ordering flowers what the quality will be. I ordered the $75 peace lily as a sympathy gift. Our relative sent a picture and the lily was beautiful, very full and potted beautifully in a nice planter with a unique bow. The peace lily was everything described. I would definitely order from them again. read more
