This is a perfect weekend day date spot. We came here as first timers, had only been to TopGolf so we werent really sure what to expect, but it didnt disappoint. The staff was really nice and helpful, as mentioned it was out first time and we needed some guidance on what to do and where to go. The purchase of balls was cheap, and they actually have some clubs if you need to borrow one(we did) at no cost, please just dont forget to return these, its a nice touch on their end and it would be a shame if it was ruined. Its first come, so pick your lane, grab a chair and hit some balls. They have drinks and food that you can order while you're playing, or you can opt for a table after you're done. This driving range is fine if you're a beginner looking to grab a beer and casually hit some balls, but it's not great if you're trying to seriously practice. The golf balls are in terrible shape--dirty, beat up, and just overall poor quality. The mats are old, worn down, and uneven, and the grass is in rough condition as well. That said, the staff is friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. Just don't come here expecting quality practice conditions--go elsewhere if that's what you're after. read more

Because of the ease of access, we are here a lot. It's conveniently located just off the 101 on the first exit southbound into Petaluma, and literally just around the corner from the offramp. Parking lot is hard to get out of with cross traffic, but other than that, getting here is a breeze. The pro shop/bar/restaurant area is full of cool deals, lots of adult beverages, and snacks for those who want to hang out before/during/ after some practice. About a quarter of the stalls are AstroTurf and are covered, a third are grass, and a third have both, but they move around some too depending on divots and weather. The covered stalls are in terrible shape on the practice range, but I am grateful for the shade for those super sunny Petaluma days. As for the real grass areas, they are also a hit and miss. Some spots are in decent shape towards the western side of the range, others have clearly seen better days. The practice greens are in better shape, and I really enjoy them as long as they aren't too busy. Probably one of the things I dislike the most about golfing here is there are the people who bring their kids. As a person who grew up golfing, I totally am ok with kids being part of the golf experience as long as they are watched. I've seen multiple times, kids running between stalls, losing their clubs, swinging and almost hitting each other in the head...it makes me nervous and worried about safety for them and for the rest of us. Additionally, for those drinking, I've noticed the more they drink, the louder they get which is not my cup of tea either, so I take that as my cue to leave. Prices are good here for a bucket or two of balls, and I even went as far as to hire their golf pro for some lessons for my better half and he has really enjoyed them. It's a mixed bag of good and bad but overall, we will be coming back for the great prices and convenient location. read more

What wonderful people here! We called before coming out, and had the most patient person on the phone being personable and helpful... and here we are! Getting in some outside activity time before another COVID shutdown, and initially went to the San Rafael driving range to find out no rental of golf clubs so we took the drive out here. Other golfers around us are so respectful and nice, and although the challenge wasn't up - we hit the keg and were given the prize anyways! Just absolutely a wonderful crew here! This is a place where you want to go where people are here that are laid back and non-judgmental. Please don't expect great club rentals and green greens - if you are a serious golfer, you'll have your own or invest in a club to keep with you. read more

We had an event here, to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday, on their patio. It was great. I was really pleased with the time and space we were given. It was such a good space for an event. We had the whole patio outside of the bar area. We decorated and brought our own food. It was fabulous, and all for a reasonable price. Our guests enjoyed beer and wine on tap at the bar. It was tasty and so easy! We had a few of the range bays to ourselves too. It was great. The guests had fun and said they'd all be coming back. Even though we had terrible wind, we still enjoyed the event and were so pleased with the outcome. The staff we interacted with were wonderful. Very chill, casual, zero percent fancy place to hit some golf balls. I had never tried swinging a golf club before and this was a perfect place for a first timer like me because everyone there was just relaxed and having a good time (I was terrible btw, and still had fun). Gotta bring your own clubs (they had a few you could borrow but would be better to have your own). I like that they had beer and food you could have out at the range as well, some people brought their own camping chairs to hang out. Definitely a fun way to spend some time in the sunshine. read more

This is a cool little range. A lot of the actual driving range is outdated and the chipping/putting green has a lot of divots. But other than that it's pretty awesome. There's a few beers on tap, plus a bunch of single canned beers/seltzer's. We had an awesome time and we will definitely be back. read more

Well, we moved to Petaluma, and looking for a local driving range we thought we found the perfect place, having been there 2 times before and ordering food along with tokens for buckets of balls, all was good. Just went on Saturday ordered food, drinks, tokens, signed offed on bill. to my surprise come Monday my bill was higher by 8.00 bucks, I have called 2 times, emailed 3 x no response whatsoever. I am very disappointed that they are so hard up for cash. I suggest you all get your receipts and check your bank accounts; I am sure they have been doing this for years. I also need to mention about the food. The first time it was great, second time it was ok. This last time, we had to wait OVER 45 min for a simple burger and a grilled ham & cheese. The French fries were almost inedible, way over done, and you could fracture a tooth on them. Did the cook just forget them in the fryer? So sad, this could be a great place, but my recommendation is to just go for the driving range, not the food. read more

I love this place. You can practice any & all parts of your game here. At the driving range you can either use a mat or hit off the grass. Two putting greens out front, and you can practice chipping or pitching onto either one. Farther back on the property there's a bunker with a third putting green next to it, so you can practice getting out of the sand. Friendly staff, friendly clientele, food served on weekends. I have been going here since it opened and it has gone WAY down hill. It's kinda of an eye sore. The facts: The bucket machine hardly works. I had to go to the front counter every time so she could open it up and let another bucket loose. What a pain. Plus the cost is not cheap. $5 per bucket...and its small. Driving range is not keep clean and there is no grass at all. It's all just weeds. The gift shop is empty and has the same products for sales as it did ten years ago. At least the lady was nice but seemed overwhelmed with all that she had to do. It's really too bad about this place. It used to be cool but has gone down hill. I will not go back for a while until they clean it up. read more

Great range for all levels. If you are just wanting to check out golf or hit some balls for the first time, they have some clubs you can use, and it is probably the cheapest place to hit balls, and there aren't any stuck up golf jerks around, it's a very casual and family friendly environment. If you are a player, and want a place to work on your swing without any distractions, the place isn't too busy so you can really have the place to yourself. They have hitting mats in great shape in a shaded area, and also have an area to hit off of real grass for free. The putting greens are usually in decent shape, and there is an additional area for practicing chipping and short pitching. I go regularly, and enjoy the beer selection, food offerings (burgers, sandwiches, etc). If you buy a range card I think each bucket of balls works out to being around $3 which is an absolute steal. read more

Great!! people, I know they need to spruce it up, and they are. I started to play golf again...so I picked up my 25 year old clubs and went to the range, not this one. When I got there they made me feel like I was bothering them. They told me all the things I could not do. The next day I went to P.G.C. I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile that made me feel at home. I had a couple of questons (that were stupid I suspect) at least at the other place, to which they responded like they were importaint..I liked that!. They checked in with me to see if I was doing ok and needed anything...wow. The whole visit was FUN . They treated my wife and me like old friends...When I left the owner came out and Thanked us for coming. I now bring my friends here as well...They are also treated like friends.
