He worked hard to find a place that would not only put up with her quirks, but would work to put her at ease. He found it in Old Mill Pet Grooming. He lived in two separate apartments before we moved in together - from Waldo to Lenexa - but he would travel up to 25 minutes each way because it was worth it. When we got married and moved in together two years ago - we continued going there (adding my dog Archie to the mix). The same service. The same smiles. The same kindness. Unfortunately, we're moving (hopefully the last time for a while!), and we'll just be too far away to continue to make the trips. When we realized this, we were both legitimately sad. In fact, today was our last trip there, and I wrote a thank you note. When you find people that love your fur babies the way you do - you know you've found special people.
