Never, ever order pet prescriptions through these guys. Heard terrible horror stories, true. Ordered important meds for puppy. 20 days later "canx for unclear subscription" although it was easy to read. PETCO lied and said they called vet 10x with no answer. Vet laughed, ridiculous. 40 minute wait to talk to supervisor. Can't fill. Can't get subscription back. Starting over but NEVER at Petco again!

I came here to get a wash for my 50 pound puppy a couple weeks ago and had a really good experience at the spa part! It was only $15 for the puppy package for under 6 months which was everything we needed for our girl. They did a great job and were so nice to Indi. She gets really scared of baths/nail clipping, but I barely heard her crying, so I think treated her well! We'll be back :)

My dog was injured at this petco. The groomer didn't tell me. I had to find out on my own when I took him home and he couldn't sit down without whimpering. His appointment was a week ago and his wound on the back of his leg still hasn't healed. The woman that groomed him seemed very annoyed. I tipped her well (before finding out how awful she treated my puppy). I wish I had known before I left the store that day that he had been mistreated. I'm taking him to the vet on Monday.

This Petco is in a great location. I take my pug here for grooming. Jessica the manager is the best groomer I've met! She takes really good care of my pug and loves her as her own! I will be coming back here for a long time. Update 6/19/18: It has been almost 2 years and Jessica is still our favorite groomer!! She has done an awesome job with Tyra. We come to Petco for Jessica because she is so great. She recognizes Tyra every time we come in and gives her lots of attention.

Harley looks amazing after his Grooming appointment with Jessica!

Love this Petco! I have been going to Grooming here since they opened. Cody was amazing but was promoted to another store. I just started going to Jessica. She did an amazing job on my new rescue Harley. Highly, highly recommend. Best grooming ever! If you are interested in training I highly recommend Adam. Just finished Puppy I classes with Harley and just signed up for Puppy II. Nice, practical real world training.

I recently got my dog trimmed and it's probably the best hair cut she's ever had. It was very even and she looked adorable.

I cannot recommend Canine Scholars and Jason enough. Our history with them actually goes back 13…read moreyears, when I impulsively adopted a couple of dogs while I was in college and right out of college. One of those dogs, Indy, turned out to be dog aggressive, and at one point I was very close to returning her because I simply didn't know how to manage her behavior. Jason completely changed that for us. He helped me understand Indy's behavior, recognize her limitations, and, most importantly, learn how to put her in situations where she could be successful. He was also realistic with me. Indy was never going to be a dog-park dog, and he didn't promise that she would be. Instead, he helped us work toward a much more meaningful goal: allowing her to comfortably and safely be around the dogs belonging to our family and close friends. We always joked that Indy believed in quality over quantity when it came to her friendships. Because of what Jason and Canine Scholars taught us, Indy was able to live a long, happy, and low-stress life with our family. I will always be grateful for that. Fast forward 13 years, and we adopted a new puppy, Donut. It had been so long since we had a puppy that we had completely forgotten how much work they can be! Add in the fact that Donut is a Great Pyrenees, and all of those independent, stubborn Great Pyrenees traits came shining through. I reached back out to Jason, and one of the first things that impressed me was that after 13 years, he still remembered Indy. Donut went through training with Canine Scholars, and the difference has been incredible. Jason worked with her on everyday manners and commands like recall and "place." Before training, getting Donut to come inside when called was nearly impossible. We would literally end up chasing a giant puppy around the yard trying to get her inside. Now, her recall is fantastic. She also walks beautifully on a leash, to the point that even my young daughters are able to walk her comfortably. For such a large dog, that gives us so much confidence and makes everyday life with her much easier. What I appreciate most about Jason is that his training isn't about trying to turn every dog into the same type of dog. He understands their personalities, breeds, strengths, and limitations and teaches owners how to set their dogs up for success. Thirteen years and two very different dogs later, we are still incredibly happy with Canine Scholars. Jason had a huge impact on the life we were able to give Indy, and now he has helped us build the same kind of strong foundation with Donut. We continue to recommend Canine Scholars to our friends and family without hesitation. If you are looking for someone who truly understands dogs and cares about creating realistic, lasting results for both the dog and the family, I highly recommend Jason and Canine Scholars.

Ashe at 6 months of age can be a bit of a handful , but Lindsey took the time to understand his behavior and tailored the training to his needs. After just two weeks, we noticed Ashe's confidence soar. Ashe is now much better behaved at the park, and he's responding wonderfully to commands like "sit," "place," "heel," and "come." This is the second dog I put through Off Leash K9 Training, and they truly help build trust between you and your pup. It allows you to take your pup into the world and enjoy life rather than sitting at home alone. I also love how Lindsey emphasizes the importance of consistency and makes sure we're practicing the right way at home. I feel so much more confident as a dog owner, and Ashe seems happier too! I highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training of Charlotte to anyone looking to strengthen the bond with their dog and improve both their quality of life and behavior!

At pick up, she did a great job explaining everything to us, guiding us on how to follow through at home, and loving on Shadow one last time. You could tell he was sad to leave her. Claire was so encouraging and loving towards him. Shadow's been home less than a week and because of Claire, he is behaving so much better. We found ourselves in quite the predicament, as he was too young to board at a kennel. We reached out to Doris and she made a special exception to accept him into her board and train program when he was only 10 weeks old... When she dropped him off after the program was complete, we had an 11.5 week old puppy housebroken and sleeping through the night with no crate accidents. What surprised me the most is that he patiently waits for you to open his crate and invite him out, he waits for you to invite him to go through the front the door and also waits in his "place" while you get his food ready. In addition to being such a patient sweet boy, he also knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, shake, spin right, spin left, leave-it, play hide and seek, and stay!! She also introduced him to swimming in her swimming pool and socialized him with multiple safe dogs and people. She was very responsive, professional and kept us posted daily on his progress and adventures. We felt at ease knowing he was in such a loving home. This is truly her passion and it shows through the wonderful work she did with sweet Chewy. We LOVE Doris and can't recommend her enough!

It felt immediately practical and grounded, not overwhelming or overly rigid... and actually, fun! One of the biggest takeaways was learning how to use the growl/bah cue as a simple "focus on me" signal, paired with really big, enthusiastic praise when she listens or offers good behavior. That combination alone made a noticeable difference in how quickly she engages and settles. Patrick also gave us clear daily practices to work on, especially around reducing attention-seeking behaviors, managing front door and doorbell excitement, helping her place and settle, and most importantly supporting her adrenaline and impulse control. It all feels doable and structured without being stressful. On top of the training itself, Patrick was also incredibly helpful in guiding us through a diet transition for Bondi. That kind of whole-dog support really stood out because he clearly cares about Bondi's wellbeing -- not just obedience. Patrick is knowledgeable, calm, supportive, and really good at explaining the why behind what you're doing. We left sessions feeling empowered instead of confused, which says a lot. We're honestly thrilled with the progress we've already made and excited to keep building on it. If you're looking for a trainer who is thoughtful, effective, and genuinely invested in your dog's success and your relationship with them, we would absolutely recommend Patrick without hesitation.

The process is typical for Camp Bow Wow of requiring new-camper interview prior to board/day camp. The interview process requires the pawrent to stay at the facility approx. 30 minutes while your pups' temperament/socialization skills are evaluated. If given the green light, pup is required to stay for a few hours of play. Staff is very helpful and caring towards the pups. They are also very efficient with the check-in/out processes. The facility seems clean and well -organized. There is an adjacent parking lot. Reservations and sharing records is now very easy via the Camp Bow Wow app, which also allows you to view your pups while they are in the playrooms and establish reservations with any of the camp Bow Wow locations. Absolute Failure of Care: Unauthorized Injury and Mismanaged Play…read moreI am writing this review as a serious warning to other dog owners. My experience with Camp Bow Wow Matthews was unacceptable, resulting in injury to my 10-month-old puppy and a complete failure of service on a follow-up visit. Incident 1: Unauthorized Procedure Resulting in Injury On his first visit, my 10-month-old puppy was subjected to an unauthorized nail trim that I did not request or approve. When I picked him up, his toenails had been cut down below the quick on multiple toes and were bleeding profusely. This indicates a severe lack of care and training, compounded by performing a painful procedure without owner consent. I complained to the staff immediately about the pain and distress this caused my puppy. Incident 2: Mismanagement of Play and Unapproved Confinement Despite the initial injury, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and brought him back. I picked him up to find he had been isolated and crated for the final three hours of the day. The staff claimed this was because he was "targeting a puppy." I reviewed the video footage they provided and confirmed that the behavior they labeled as "targeting" was clearly rough, energetic play--not aggression. For a professional daycare facility, misinterpreting normal puppy play and confining him for three hours instead of actively managing the group or separating him into a smaller, supervised area shows a complete lack of necessary skill and accountability. The combination of causing a preventable, unauthorized injury and then failing to provide the core service (socialization and supervised play) demonstrates a serious lack of professional care and judgment. I requested a full refund for both failed services. I strongly advise other pet owners to find a different facility that prioritizes the safety, accurate behavior assessment, and well-being of your dog.
