Horrible experience! Got my little Yorkie here today and the technician and the manager were super rude. Told me in order to clean around my dogs eyes they had to cut the hair. She looks fine just some eye gunk, no knots or anything else. I didn't want the hair in the face cut off, that's all. She basically rudely told me she couldn't do anything and walked away ! I wash her and clean her eyes all the time, no problem at all ! I'll be calling the home office on Monday ! I'm attaching a pic of my puppy just so you know my dog was totally fine.

Good selection of food and toys. My wife tries not to stop to see the cats, since she'll want to bring one home.

I am well…read moreaware that if I ask for a help in PetSmart, I will pretty much always either get help from a knowledgeable, customer service oriented, animal loving employee OR I will get nothing from an employee who is working hard at doing the minimum required to not get fired. By now you have likely guessed that today I got the latter. After closely searching the aisles for the item I needed, I rolled the dice and asked a cashier for help. Me : " where can I find a poop bag holder that..." Gen Z employee: *cuts me off mid sentence* " in the toy aisle." Me: " which toy aisle? there are more than one." Gen Z " the one over there" *gestures vaguely* Me: " I looked, so where exactly in the aisle is it?" Gen Z: *frustrated look* " OK I'll just show you." I follow Gen Z to location and she gestures to an area with I have searched already since there are similar items there. I ask her where exactly and she points to everything and says "all of these," clearly having zero clue what I was looking for since she stopped listening before hearing what I needed. I say I looked already and it's not here. Gen Z : "Then we don't have it" and walks away in a snit. She stole my snit! She wasted my time, gave me attitude and may as well have flipped me the bird to top it off. So I was irked. So, dear Yelpers, I came here to have my snit. Many thanks for indulging me. Now I'm over it. Have a lovely day.

I've been a loyal customer of PetSmart for four years, but my recent experience at the grooming…read moresalon was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I arrived 8 minutes late for my dog's 9:45 AM grooming appointment. Upon entering, I found a line out the door and patiently waited my turn. Unfortunately, no one greeted me, and I felt completely ignored. A groomer, Hannah, glanced outside but didn't acknowledge the growing line. After waiting, I was told I was too late, even though I had been outside for 10 minutes. The groomer seemed stressed and said, "I can't do it. You're late," without offering any alternatives. She mentioned I should've called, but calling while waiting in line wouldn't have changed anything. Instead of offering solutions, I was told to cancel and reschedule. However, there were several options they could have taken to resolve the situation: Rather than turning me away immediately, they could have asked if I was willing to modify my dog's grooming experience to fit the time I arrived. A shorter grooming session, or adjusting the focus of the session, could have worked for both of us. If my assigned groomer wasn't available, they could have quickly reassigned me to another available groomer, which would have minimized the delay and ensured my dog was still taken care of. Alternatively, since PetSmart offers walk-in services, they could have added me to a later slot that day, even if it meant a slightly longer wait for my dog. This would have shown flexibility and a willingness to accommodate. I left the salon discouraged, only to realize I had another appointment in 15 minutes, making me 45 minutes late. I returned, explaining how inconvenient this was, but was met with no resolution--just a dismissive "Have a nice day." The lack of empathy, communication, and professionalism was appalling. A simple acknowledgment of my situation and a few alternative solutions could have turned this into a positive experience. Instead, I was left feeling completely dismissed. As a loyal customer, I expected much better treatment. This experience has left me questioning whether I'll continue using PetSmart for grooming moving forward.

Here's the thing with sending your dog to training. It ONLY WORKS if you continue the work after…read more Having said that - I have nothing but amazing things to say about Doggone Fit and their staff. They are caring and professional. They get to really know your dog and set up a plan according to their behavioral needs. It is not a "one size fits all" training method as different dogs require different experiences with training. We are experienced German Shepherd owners, but we adopted a 9 month old Shepherd who had no previous training and was traumatized by the sudden death of her previous owner. She was nervous and insecure. She needed more than what we could give her. In comes Doggone Fit. Our trainer Richie fell in love with Leia and she him. We did the 2 week board and train and it was worth EVERY penny of the $2K+ we spent. Leia needed to learn some boundaries and build some confidence. She came home loving the tools and structure she learned. **And I will say it again** - YOU NEED to continue with the training. Your dog will come home improved and will have learned the tools, but unless you continue with the protocol your dog will backslide. We have stuck with Doggon Fit's protocol and Leia is thriving. We even boarded her for the first time with Richie and she was in heaven. It was like summer camp for her. Richie sent us daily updates and photos and we felt so good knowing she was having fun and in the hands of someone who cared for her and obviously knew her training needs. Here's a picture of our happy, confident girl now. She has come so incredibly far. If it wasn't for Doggone Fit we probably would have continued to struggle with meeting her specific needs. She loves the work she learned there and we continue with it daily. It gives her the confidence and structure she (and many dogs) need.

We initially worked with Richie for an introduction to training, which was tremendously helpful. We then worked with Joe Langlois, who was excellent with initial training and weekly adventure hikes for our pup. He spent so much time getting to know our pup to make sure he could bond and effectively work with him. He also took a tremendous amount of time to listen and explain everything including tips to help with our pup's anxieties, which have been an invaluable help. We loved having our high energy dog participate in the adventure hikes and seeing all the adorable photos Joe would very actively post after almost every walk. He obviously loves dogs and really cares about giving them exercise, fun, and training. Also he has rescued all of his dogs, a good marker of how much he cares about dogs in general. We hope to continue working with Joe and highly recommend.

She was cold, condescending, and completely dismissive, presenting every decision as if it were hers alone and speaking down to us rather than guiding or consulting us as the pet's family. There was no compassion, no kindness, and no sense of understanding during one of the most terrifying moments of our lives with a very sick dog. Her explanations were nonstop, filled with complex medical jargon, as if she's reading from a clinical textbook and offered no pause for questions or clarification. We were left so frustrated and distrusting that we had to use ChatGPT on-site just to research possible causes and try to understand what might be happening -- something no pet owner should ever have to do while in an emergency veterinary clinic. Adding insult to injury, the prices were outrageously high, completely disproportionate to the level of care, communication, or thoughtful evaluation we received. The interaction felt rushed, transactional, and almost robotic, prioritizing speed and cost over empathy or genuine concern for our pet's wellbeing. Additionally, it looks like she recently graduated from vet school yet she was the only vet on staff when she was there. Worse, reading other reviews on both Yelp and Google Reviews revealed a clear pattern: multiple pet owners describe the same condescending, intimidating, and confusing behavior from this particular veterinarian, with alarming recommendations delivered abruptly, leaving families feeling pressured, unheard, and unsupported. This is not an isolated incident -- it is a repeated pattern of behavior. Pet owners deserve honesty, clear explanations, and true compassion when their pets' lives are on the line. Dr. Schwartz fails on all counts, treating owners like they have no voice and prioritizing her own authority over guidance, empathy, or care. Warning to all pet owners: avoid this practice if you value compassion, trust, 2 way communication, and the wellbeing of your pet.

Nicole did the majority of our trainings and she has been a god-sent. She is very good with the dogs, and her energy level makes the training classes fun both for us and our dog. We learned a lot from Nicole and she helped us to feel a lot less stressed out and actually enjoy the puppyhood. The obedience class is set up like a monthly subscription, where you can go to as many classes as you want. We end up going about 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes, as it is a great activity to mentally exercise our dog and provide socialization while working alongside other dogs. We also started bringing our dog to their dog day camp 2x a week. Tim was also very patient in explaining the process.
