Loved the Rockefeller and Chargrilled but was not crazy about the Elote with the corn and and little spicy. Just a personal preference. We also ordered the Boogie Bombs that were so good with the pepper jelly. For entrees I ordered the Blackened Redfish which come which vegetables and grits. The sauce over the redfish was great! It complemented the Redfish. The only thing that I would improve on would be the grits. They were a little dry. My husband ordered the pepperoni pizza and Ashley recommended the pepper jelly with it. We had great service. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place.

The lighting is a bit dim for our old eyes but otherwise it has the feel of a pub. We loved that. Our server was very nice and helpful. We ordered the bacon cheddar fries. The fries are like a cottage fries that are then cut into strips. Perfect fry on them. The bacon could have been crispier but great flavor and a good ranch. I had the KPauls pasta. We all enjoyed it. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. If you love a saucy pasta this isn't for you. It is nice and creamy but not swimming in it. Big plump shrimp that tasted great. Also has chunks of chicken breast and sliced sausage. Uncle Jim got the red beans and rice. Great flavor but barely warm. The catfish is a thicker cut and battered in a coarsely ground corn meal. Aunt Robin had the shrimp and grits. Those were the star of the show. So creamy and incredible flavor. Very generous amount of nice sized shrimp. Mike had the Keg Stand burger. He requested the sauce on the side. It's definitely a unique flavor. Nice soft bun. The meat was grossly over cooked but would have been tasty had it not been so dry. The onion rings that came with the burger were soggy. Overall, enjoyed it. We know what to get next time. Shrimp and grits and KPauls pasta!!

The Lows: The fries arrived old and cold -- not the kind of thing you want after a long day. The cheeseburger was a disappointment too; it tasted bland and under-seasoned, almost like it had been boiled rather than grilled. The cheesecake, while delicious, was missing its chocolate sauce -- a small thing that makes a noticeable difference. And to top it off, my celery and carrots were completely left out of the order. Those little details matter, especially when you're paying delivery prices. The Highs: The wings -- Wingstop's whole reason for being -- were lukewarm on arrival but still delivered on flavor. Delicious seasoning, solid sauce, and worth every bite even if the temperature wasn't ideal. And despite the missing chocolate sauce, the cheesecake was still a genuinely pleasant surprise. Delivery always carries some risk with hot food, and some of this may fall on Door Dash rather than Wingstop. But forgotten items and incomplete desserts are hard to overlook regardless of who's responsible. Stick to the wings, double-check your bag before the driver leaves, and don't skip the cheesecake -- just make sure the chocolate sauce made it in there. I should have made a better dinner choice tonight, but the wings reminded me why Wingstop stays in the rotation. The Door Dasher was very pleasant although the name said Lillian and a man showed up,lol! What do you think about that?

The flavors on the other hand, I do like buffalo wild wings more. Wingstop is always juicy and not dry in my opinion. The fries here are Very good, good texture and seasoning. Within that 16 square miles there are over 30 various types of restaurants for it's 12,000 citizens to pick from. Multiple Mexican places, several Asian, an Italian joint, a steak joint, a couple fried catfish places, some sit down chain restaurants and almost all the fast food joints you can want. Yet some how among this dizzying array of places to eat, Road House manages to stand at the top of the list. (Shared with Sully's). Everytime my wife and I have gone we've had delicious food and great service. My favorite is the burger. The first time I had it I was amazed at the smokey flavor it had. At the time I had no idea they were smoking their beef patties at the time. My wife had the Mississippi Philly Cheesesteak which was also as amazing. Servers were attentive, very friendly and fun to talk to. Desserts were delicious and fresh as well. My only couple complaints were the restaurant was kept ridiculously cold. Even the servers said it was too cold in there for them as they shuffled around wearing hoodies. The other issue I had was it seemed like place couldn't decide if it was a casual family restaurant, or fine dining. The decor and the way the staff interacts with the tables suggest casual family restaurant. But the pricing leans more towards fine dining. This is not at all any reason why you should not eat here. And based on what i've seen recently, most patrons don't see this place the same way I do as they are consistently packed which is great! We're planning on another visit soon. I've been hankering for that burger again. Highly recommend, but bring a small coat just in case the temp is set to sub-zero again.
