Been to this place a few times and its always a fun hang out place before we dance the night aeay at Joes Live. The place is sooo cute and its definitely a vibe. They are partnered with Crust Brewery which has a barcode on each table and you can order the pizza online and they bring it right to you. I feel like Crust Brwery should be another review but all i can say is their pizza was really good and definitely ordering that again! The drinks at Petes Tiki Tiki however are in this cute Tiki cups and it is worth your money because they dont skimp on the liquor. So definitely worth the price you pay. Stopped here after an event near by to watch the Packers vs Bears game. Drinks were great!! There is plenty of seating and you're able to bring in food or order pizza from crust!! My partner walked down and got himself a burger, I ordered the fig pizza! So good!! Highly recommend the Saturn drink!! Plenty of TV's to watch the games! Staff was so nice and friendly! read more

This place was nice and VERY LOUD. This is NOT a Tiki bar in its own right. It has TIki elements. They had a very limited Tiki drink menu. We sat at the bar. We were NOT a priority at all for any of the four bartenders behind there. We were able to squeeze out one drink from the bar and thought we should not try our luck further. Colorful, Fun, and Relaxing Spot What a fun place! The atmosphere was vibrant and playful, with colorful decor that really set the tone for a great time. The outdoor area was a big highlight for me--there were games set up, making it easy to relax and have fun while enjoying the evening. TVs were placed all around, so catching the game was effortless. I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink, but the bartender was super helpful and created a custom drink similar to one I had seen at another restaurant. It was delicious! We visited this spot while waiting to head to the piano bar, but I would definitely come back again on its own. This is a cute place if you're looking for just drinks. Came here after eating at one of the restaurants nearby. They don't serve food here. The inside is small but they have a pretty big patio space to chill out on. When it is busy, I would definitely suggest trying to go in and order at the bar because it could take awhile for a server to spot you. We were a pretty large group so we took turns just going inside and ordering. They serve cute drinks and have specials . Went here for drinks and let me say it was pretty pricey. We went on a Monday night and very typical for Monday not crowded at all, a bit slow and kind of boring. The staff was not very engaging. We had a round of drinks wanted a second but my friend had to go up to the bar. I can't imagine if it would have been Friday night and super crowded. Drinks were ok, nothing special. Pricey about $15-20 per drink. They do not sell food but said we could get food from next door. From crust brewing, in that case might as well go next door! We walked over to this place after visiting the AMC. First impressions were not great. Security was overly weird and questioned our ids. A bit off putting. We get inside and the servers weren't nice or pleasant. Everything felt very rushed and when we asked for the recommendation of what's popular, the guy just said everything is and walked away. We had two drinks and decided to head outside to the game area. Once outside, we played Jenna and that was fun. The music was pretty great and is probably the only reason that I would return. First time hanging out in Rosemont entertainment district. My friend and fellow Yelp Elite was in town and booked a hotel near the area. We were out and about during Happy Hour and stopped by Pete's Tiki Bar. They have happy hour until 7pm. They have rotating daiquiris and a mudslide on menu. Kind of limited. On this occasion the mudslides machine wasn't working. We respectfully request they just make a non-frozen version. Both drinks were good. They dont serve food here but you can order from Crust restaurant next door. We were hungry and so we decided to leave to have dinner. Pete's Tiki is connected to adjoining dueling piano bar so we came back after having a dinner at Brazilian Steakhouse. If in the area, I would try again. My hurricane daiquiri was good but really wanted to try a mai tai so will be back. Forgot to mention that Trinidad was super helpful and informative about Pete's Tiki establishment. read more

This is a nice little tiki bar that is co-located with a dueling piano bar. It has a nice covered patio area out front and an adequate dining area with high-top seating and a full bar with seating. The bar is marked with a big tiki out front and is dimly lit inside. The inside has a nice tropical vibe. The bar tenders were very friendly. It is located near the convention center and is in an entertainment district. There is free parking available, in front of the bar and within a reasonable walking distance. One cool thing about this bar is that you can go freely between both bars through the door that connects them. I took my tropical drink over to the dueling piano side to check it out over there for a bit. The bar has beer, wine, shots, daiquiris and of course signature tropical cocktail favorites. I ordered a painkiller, and a daiquiri. They were savory and delicious. This is a neat little spot in an area with a lot to do. This is one of the few, if any tiki bars in the Chicago area. We had a great time at Pete's Tiki Tiki. Our entire experience was just great. The drink menu is varied enough that we got to try really unique, complex flavors, and all of the drinks were served picture-perfect. The ambience was tropical without being too loud or overwhelming, and we had a really great time. We'll be back. PROS: -Drinks are expensive, BUT they come with the boozy punch you need to justify the cost. -The drinks are pretty too. After you're here for a bit, you'll notice that a lot of the garnishes are the same - even on different drinks - but especially when you first order your drinks, you'll be in love with the look of your drink with the tiki glass paired with its tropical-looking garnishes. With the lighting and color palette in here, everything is very Instagram worthy. -If you get hungry, their Piano Bar next door will deliver food directly to your table if you use the QR code taped to your table. The Tiki Tiki itself does not have food, but there's a good selection of pizzas and other foods from the piano bar (owned by the same people) if you need food. CONS: -We're unsure if there are reservations. We attempted to call on multiple nights leading up to our intended visit, but no one ever picked up the phone, and we couldn't find a way to book online. -ALL of the indoor seating is high-top tables and chairs. If it's difficult for you to get onto a high-top chair, you will simply not have anywhere to sit. During the warmer months, the outdoor picnic tables offer standard height chairs. -They do have a happy hour, but it's mostly limited to mudslides and a few other things. When it was 30 degrees out, a mudslide didn't really sound super appetizing. BUT we had one anyway (it was delicious and boozy!), and spent awhile shivering to make up for it. -All of the cool tiki glasses really add to the experience, but you may need to request a modification if you have grip/wrist issues. Some of them are awkwardly shaped, and some of them can be a bit slippery to grip once condensation starts. Most drinks can use a straw, though, if someone else can help move the glass around for you. -Like most businesses in this area, parking can be a bit of a pain. Especially with the booze-focused vibe of Tiki Tiki, I'd probably recommend a rideshare or public transit to get here. There's a shuttle that runs from the Donald conference center if that's where your public transit easily gets to. -I only found one, single-stall, unisex/private restroom. I'm not sure if they have additional bathroom options when the outdoor area is open, but a single bathroom for the number of people this place can seat when the outdoor area is open seems way too low. read more

We decided to sit outside and ordered the "Me Time" based on a recommendation by the server. The drinks were fine enough, but it isn't the craft tiki drinks you would find in the city. I guess that is ok, but my bar is pretty high. I gave it four stars because there wasn't anything particularly bad. It just was ok. It looks like they have a decent outdoor area which would probably make the place feel bigger, but our weather has been pretty cruddy this past month. read more

January 8 2024 So hopefully the owner reads this and knows EXACTLY who was bartending. First time here, it was cute & I had high hopes. I arrived at 9 ish and barely anyone was inside (not a big deal it's Monday night). Bartender was super unfriendly and I didn't like him what so ever... if you're old, starting to bald, and dislike bartending then you probably shouldn't be a bartender my guy. He made weird condescending comments all night to different customers. It made not only the customers uncomfortable but I was uncomfortable just listening to him talk to others that way.... I'm in the industry and you just don't treat people that way. To top it all off, he randomly decided to shut the place down early because he wanted to go home... so even though it says they closed at 1, he decided to close everything down and did last call at 10:30... If you say you're open till 1 then why are you doing last call at 10:30? Laziness. Anyways, I give it 1 star for the decorations because it's cute and has potential. But your bartender keeps you from getting any more than that. Do better and hire intelligent people. read more

Tried to book a reservation for 12 at 2 different times, both times with plenty of time in advance and both times I was told they were completely booked for months out. We ended up going on the date requested per their instruction to try to go a little early to get a table and the whole place was empty except for maybe 5 people. Left a bad taste in my mouth on my birthday for ever planning any events there. Being booked was clearly a lie. And this was on a Saturday. I find that to be really poor customer service. Our horrible experience had everything to do with the bartender Trevor. Immediately, he gave us a cold shoulder and served every table around us multiple times before speaking to us once. Then, as we asked about the menu he had nothing but snarky remarks as if we had done anything to this boy. We ordered Pete's Harder Pina Colada and we were served a Jet Pilot. Not only did it taste nothing like a Pina Colada, it even came in the same cup as advertised for the Jet Pilot. Even more annoyingly, rather than just accepting his mistake Trevor argued with us and even took a sip out of our beverage without asking, this was disgusting. While our server was nice, prompt and knowledgeable the automation of everything made the experience cold. Drinks are ordered from your server, and she takes your card then. It is returned when you want to check out. Food is ordered via app, which requires another card, even though your server just took your card... and was ok. We had a buffalo pizza which was good, parmigiana fries were uneventful, coconut shrimp were ok as were the mini-egg rolls. If you are looking for tiki bars there are much better choices. read more
