I ordered nachos and they dabbed some beans at the bottom, piled on chips and dumped cold nacho cheese and sour cream. It was soooo gross like Really cold nacho cheese. U cant use real cheese? For $20 bux at a latin japanese fusion restaurant, they made taco bell feel gourmet. The waiter couldnt speak english, which i really dont mind, but it was on top of everything else... he kept bringing out sweet and sour thai chile sauce for the oysters. And the horseradish was like mayo. Pro tip- buy horseradish and shave it... u need the bite. The drinks were poorly made... got a lemon drop and moscow mule. Lemon drop was just straight lemon lime juice, no liquor, no sugar rim. Moscow mule was straight ginger beer. They didnt know how to make them and it was obvious. The 2 other tables both told them they forgot the liquor in the drinks. I will say the presentation was fine, except for the sugar rim. Honestly i cant say anything good about the experience. This place cuts every corner and it shows, all while using "upscale" pricing.

Drinks take forever to come out. Servers seem to struggle with the devices they are using to place orders. Our food took a considerable amount of time to come out, it was wrong, so it all went back so one of our fajitas could get made from scratch while the other meals sat under a heat lamp. I also love it when places like this get overwhelmed and everyone is looking around for their food/drinks/etc. and you see staff buried in their mobile phones. This place is really pretty bad. I would recommend going somewhere else before a concert or sporting event at Allstate Arena.

When I was a kid I use to go to the Des Plaines Theater & watch movies for 60 cents (ahhh nostalgia trip down memory lane), but I digress The speakeasy inside the Des Plaines Theater is an awesome idea. The show was awesome but the one MAJOR MAJOR issue I have is the bartender who continued to serve my sister's friend. He was obviously very very drunk to a point where he could barely walk wo/stumbling. He was slurring his words. Both my sister & I asked the bartender not to serve him anymore alcohol but she kept serving him drinks even after we asked. She continued to serve him even after we asked her not to. When he and my sister left she told me he tried to put the key in the ignition 14X's before she convinced him to let her drive. Your bartender's need to be aware of a persons level of intoxication. Both my sister & I asked her not to serve him anymore drinks but she continued to serve him. Thank God my sister was able to convince him to let her drive home otherwise what was an excellent evening could have ended tragically. Please have your bartenders be more conscious of a persons level of intoxication. While I gave Bourbon & Brass a 5 star review I need to down grade that for over serving someone alcohol even after both my sister & I asked her to stop serving him

There was a show that evening, when we entered the theater, the usher asked to see our tickets. I asked how to get to the speakeasy and the usher pointed to the elevator, take it to the second floor. Once we got to the second floor, more ushers greeted us and informed us there's a jazz band performing and small cover charge. As soon as we paid and entered through the bookshelf, the room was beautifully arranged as a lounge with fancy and vintage sofas and couches. Kind of reminds me of someone grandma's house. The bar had snacks available, otherwise more drink options. The band played good songs too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and jazz fan.

Table 12 for the win!…read more I was in Rosemont for a work trip, which usually means dull dinners, early nights and generally a bit Puritanical. Since we were in Chicago, I took my boss and coworker to the Tiki TIki next door for a shot of Malort. It's Chicago, after all. 1 shot became 2, 2 became 4, and before I knew it, the bartender was ushering us through the swinging door into Pete's once they opened. Fun fact: we were the first ones in and also shut the bar down. From the moment the pianists started, it was clear this place was on point. Even them doing introductions and giving the ground rules was done musically. All four singers were wicked talented, and rotated in and out through the night. On occasion, they came together and became a full on quartet playing instruments other than pianos. Vocals were amazing, the energy in the place was such that I didn't even realize the time until they did last call and the lights came up. The layout of Pete's lends itself to entertainment. Regardless of what table you are at, you have a great view of the stage and no one has their back to the performance. The atmosphere is covered with fun and bright signs all over and despite being a larger place, it feels intimate when your song is played and everyone sings along. The table service was also great. She never hovered, but we also never lacked a drink. The next best thing about this place, after the performers, is the level of crowd interaction. There were folks singing along to every single song, and at times it was the whole bar. A couple of times during the night, folks were running around the bar riding a horse's head (or maybe a unicorn) on a stick. Somehow, it all just made sense. Pete's turned what could have been another boring end of a work trip sitting in the hotel into a night full of laughs, shots, and having a hoarse voice for days.

The experience is in the name; 2 guys and a small band pick songs to play and the audience really sings out loud (and really loud sometimes). I knew some of the songs so I could sing along. The inside is very big, accommodates a lot of guests, seating is everywhere, huge bar, and I loved all the cute/funny decor everywhere.
