The band they had for Halloween on Friday was amazing! Such a fun experience! I had been wanting to go here based on the reviews and pictures! It did not disappoint! Drinks were tropical and yummy! The ambiance was fun with the decor and the crowd definitely had a "regulars" feel but everyone seemed to be having fun and there were a mix of people inside which made it a fun evening!

Stumbled upon a groupon for this place and I can't say how happy I am that I did! We had an absolute blast! The bartender (can't remember his name) was great, the atmosphere really makes you feel like you're on an island, and the drinks were delicious!!! Can't wait to get back there!

One of only two bars I really go to in Kenosha. I'm not a fan of the constant sports bars and loud TVs and sticky floors. Rendezvous is a tiki themed lounge with great music, amazing drinks, fantastic bartenders, fire tricks and all sorts of surprises. You take care of them, and they take care of you. I've watched it grow over the last year into a great place for the younger crowd with karaoke Friday and Saturday nights. I met the love of my life at this bar. I love this place.

Great late night place. Recently started coming here as the last stop before home and it definitely gets the job done. Great atmosphere and great drinks. The bartender is the one and only guy and he knows whats up. This is a must stop place that is very unique to the area. I would highly recommend if your looking for a tropical drink or your typical cocktail. 5 stars hands down!

Came here once with friends. Fun looking place!! They had $1 domestics the Monday night we went. We also ordered one of the specialty low calorie drinks. A little too sweet for me but we got glow sticks and some fun rings with our drinks!! I'd go back with some girlfriends for the fun drinks! But beware, some of the drinks are really expensive.

Rendezvous Tiki Lounge never disappoints! From the speedy and friendly service to the creatively and dangerously tasty beverages, the appropriately decorated Tiki bar is great for any occasion. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes to try something new or for those who are seeking a new watering hole. As they say, "Time flies when you're having rum!" Stay thirsty my friends.

Caribbean Asskicker. This is my Birthday Drink. One of my favorite places to visit for a Birthday Drink.

I love that as soon as you enter, you are transported to a tropical oasis that is dark and moody. I visited with a larger group so we made a reservation before. One pays $5 per person in your group and the amount is later applied to your bill. The food menu is minimal and most items weren't available sadly. We got two orders of their pineapple salsa with taro chips. It was yummy but wasn't enough substance to match the drink levels. For drinks, our group got a wide variety. They have all sorts of flavor pairings to accommodate every guest. I got the Captain's Revenge after hearing the Pearl Diver was unavailable. It was good but not amazing. For my second drink, I got the Chocolate Banana Old Fashioned which I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't hear anyone in our group be disappointed with what they ordered. Our server, Jazmine, was very knowledgable about the menu and asking the right questions to make sure what we each ordered would be something we liked. Overall, this was a fun experience and I am happy I finally got to visit! My experience was slightly tainted with how much was not available the night we visited.

From the outside it is so bland and you are truly unsure if you are walking into an abandoned building or a crappy towny bar. There is ample seating and a few different seating options; bar stools, booths, high top tables. Seat yourself. To order drinks you walk up to the bar. There is not table service. The decorations here are great! There are some really incredible pieces and collections! Some I would love to have if I could find them. It's kind of tucked into a corner lot so it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Trader Nick's has a wide variety of rum Tiki drinks. I'm not much of a rum drinker, but the owner ran through my drink options without my needing to ask - including a couple of vodka, gin, and Bourbon drinks on the menu. I had a Bourbon Sling and it was very tasty. My drink - with a pretty hefty tip - was around $12 - pretty reasonable, in my opinion. The owner is so nice and helpful! He checked in on our group a few times, and thanked us for visiting more than once as we left. He seemed genuinely interested in whether we had a good experience. One of the two resident dogs was cute, but he didn't seem to like me very much. I got a little growl and bark - yikes. The only thing I think could be improved is the addition of food, or at least some snacks. Especially since most of the drinks are liquor based, it would be helpful to have some food with the drinks.

Yes. This is a tiki bar. So there are sweet options, but if that's not your thing tell your barkeep. They know what cocktails to make you. Did I mention how adorable this bar is? They have an impeccable tiki glass collection. Lots of local wood art work and all the tiki vibes. You can have a beer too if you are not in the cocktail mood. They even bring a Hawaiian beer to the list. If you want high class cocktails that don't have all the hoity toity, but all the flavor then get in here. Some nights they have live music too. The vibe is speakeasy-ish; the entrance is off the street in an alleyway but the interior is very nice, low light, and would be fun for a date night! The staff were attentive and very friendly. My friend got some shots, which were surprisingly good given they were kind of sweet, and I ordered the "mystic lamp" cocktail ($16) which was VERY memorable to me as someone that loves floral drinks -- it was very floral, slightly fruity, and had a lovely chunk of lychee it came with which was delicious! The drink was decent sized too; I've been charged a lot more for much less drink at other speakeasies (those of which I don't plan to visit again any time soon haha). In my opinion, this spot has the perfect combo of great drinks, nice ambiance, cool speakeasy-vibes, but also cheerfulness given the tiki-theme inside. Would definitely rec a visit to anyone visiting Chicago who likes cool bars!

I was excited for the experience having heard how busy it gets, blah blah. These positive reviewers need to seek out other tiki bars. After you negotiate the alley entrance and go down dangerously dark stairs, you are met with crazy boring decor. I kept thinking there had to be more right? The whole point of a tiki bar is to strike a mood, but hanging a very few polynesian masks on the wall, putting up a grass facade over the bar and dressing the servers in vaguely polynesian outfits is sad. I've seen private tiki bars at people's homes that are more exciting. Add to this a comparably boring music selection played far too loud over boomy lo-fi speakers and you'll wonder what's going on here. So what about the food and drink? Completely uninspired for anyone who's had more than a mai tai before in their life. About a dozen extremely common drink choices is all you get!! No specials, that's it. When I asked if this was the whole cocktail menu, the server said it was but they have a full bar so you can get anything you want. Well, I could get that service at just about any bar in the world, so big deal. Maybe it would be better if you sat at the bar and chatted up the bartender. One could also go taste their rum selections and other cocktails in the Bamboo Room, but I hate that kind of elitist nonsense. That's never been what tiki bars were about. The drinks we sampled were okay at best. Even the namesake 3 Dots and A Dash cocktail was lackluster and used cheap cherries for the dots instead of classic Luxardos. (If you know, you know) The appetizers were okay, but way overpriced. 5 tiny spring rolls for $18. Come on guys, enough already. I'd rather go to the bar at the Polynesian Hotel at Disney than return here. This place is a hard pass.

The bartender, Ron, seemed to have a good deal of knowledge about rum. All of the specialty cocktails contain rum. Ron was very engaging and enthusiastic about the cocktail menu. He was very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us. We ordered the Zombie (a trio of light, gold, and dark rum with lemon, lime, passion fruit, and bitters - limit two per customer), the Navy Grog (lime, grapefruit, honey liquor, light rum, dark rum, and Demerara rum), the Painkiller (Pusser's rum, fresh nutmeg, pineapple, orange, and cream of coconut), and the Pineapple Coconut Delight (white rum, coconut, orgeat, pineapple, and lemon). The drinks were very good and I liked the sweetness in the drinks we chose. The drinks that we were served were very strong. I can see why some of them have a two drink limit. Ron kept telling us about the his brother who cooks in the kitchen. He is a classically trained chef, but we were unable to try any of the food because the kitchen is closed on Monday. Overall, the Pau Hana Lounge is a nice bar with a neighborhood feel to it. I recommend Pau Hana Lounge, just be prepared to get a lot of alcohol from these drinks.
