I want to start by saying that my experience with my provider, Susie, was excellent. She was…read morepatient, informative, and very helpful in assisting me with what I needed. My concerns are with the administrative and billing side of the practice. When I initially became a client of WCP, I initially received needed testing. Later, I needed documentation completed and was informed that I would need to schedule a meeting with my provider to complete the required form. Upon entering that appointment, I was informed about a newer, more updated assessment that the office now uses. I was highly encouraged and offered the option to take that additional test at a discounted rate, since I had already completed the prior version. I agreed and completed the assessment that day and paid the amount, which meant the original purpose of the appointment (completing the form) was not addressed. The following day, I had a second appointment to complete the form via telehealth, during which we went through it together and I answered the necessary questions. After the form was ready for pickup, I was informed of additional charges for both visits, each, that had not been communicated beforehand. While I understand the charge for the appointment where the form was completed, I was surprised by the additional charge for the first visit, where the only activity was being offered and completing another assessment. When I sought clarification, the interaction became unprofessional and dismissive, which was disappointing. Julie then got extremely unprofessional with me in a heated back and forth discussion and asked me "Aren't you about to become an attorney?" Very Unprofessional. Since I am CURRENTLY a lawyer, I will be fighting against this charge. Julie, you need to do better as a professional and as a person. Overall, my concern is with the lack of transparency around billing and the professionalism in handling the discussion around it. I hope the office can improve clarity and communication going forward.

I had an excellent nurse practitioner, Susan Schleith. I followed her from another practice to…read moremaintain our wonderful relationship. Unfortunately, I too had a negative experience with Julie in billing. She overcharged me for a visit, and tried to under-refund me twice. Very unpleasant person to deal with. Based on the financial issue, I was locked out of my patient portal and was not allowed closure with my therapist. A very unhealthy atmosphere in a practice where mental health should be the primary concern.
