Peter chise State farm is a great place to get insurance, I was in a situation where I'm buying a car didn't have insurance and I had tried this other insurance and it was really hard and so I was referred to Peter chai State farm by my mom and it was so easy he made you feel like he was your friend and you've known it for a long time and we were able to get the insurance and a great price so that I could drive home in my new car so grateful for his kindness and it was very informative. read more

Extremely disappointed with Peter Chai. I've been with the company for over 4 years and recently my insurance went up $40+. Although I am happy that I got a chance to sit down with Mr. Chai and go over my policy he still had no real reason as to why my rate went up. He states that the "Woolsey fires in NOVEMBER 2018 and the cost of living" played a factor however that's a bunch of B****** and makes no sense! recently cancelled my policy with this office, and state farm continued to charge and threatened to charge my wife with my cancelled policy, it took over 30 days to get another policy and the other insurance company said they never seen this before I don't recommend this particular office and they raised up my insurance because I was working for a ride share co. I never gave them authorization or reported that I was working with a ride share company. read more

I spoke with Jiena and she walked me through and explained the rate step by step and gave me the best insurance she provided me with. I really appreciate the time she had given me rather then just trying to just sell the insurance. I forgot to mention that she's bi-lingual!! Honestly the worst agent peter chai wouldn't recommend this place to nobody I've had many issues with them always taking me off auto pay when I update my cards all the time on file I never get any of my monthly bills only when they take me off auto pay after 3 months and they want to charge for that and a renewal policy so they take me off the policy without giving me a call or email this isn't the first or second time same with my wife insurance policy read more

Went in hoping I would get a lower rate for my auto insurance which Jiena assisted me with. I was hesitant with switching but once Jiena compared my coverage with her offer, she clearly showed me I was getting better coverage for a lower price. The State Farm name is not the reason why I am insured here, but rather because of the attention to detail and excellent customer service this particular office provides. Khristeen is an excellent agent and is very detailed when explaining coverages. The rates for higher limits are very reasonable if you are looking to protect yourself. I would give ZERO stars if possible. DON'T EVER GO TO PETER CHAI. First of all he has a handful of teenagers doing all his work while he sits in some secret office in the back doing nothing! This office is so UNPROFESSIONAL and ridiculous I have never had problems with car insurance EVER until this place. The DMV required me to have an SR22 for three years and if I wasn't covered under insurance for 1 day it would not only restart for three years but cause a suspension on my license. State Farm FAILED TO SEND my renewed policy to DMV not once not twice not three times but FOUR TIMES. this resulted in a suspension of my license due to no fault of my own each time! And their reason being "Corporate is really backed up right now." So because corporate was backed up and they were for the entirety of my coverage at State Farm I had a suspended license on my record four times. So being that I don't need an SR 22 anymore and there are no points against my license I thought I was safe however these suspensions have COST ME $1000s of dollars in new car insurance. I have been trying to clear these suspensions because they are ridiculous and caused by State Farm's FAILURE to send proof of my insurance each time of renewal and Peter Chai won't help at all. I have been to the office multiple times for hours. His office assistants DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and Peter Chai has a serious complex. He began to yell at me telling me I need to take personal responsibility for what has happened. Which is weird because I pay car insurance to keep the DMV updated with my information otherwise I would do it myself. So he started raising his voice so naturally I raised mine. He flipped out saying that he demands respect in his office and I am forbidden to raise my voice in his place of work. Which fine but don't yell at me then! You get respect when you give respect. He insisted he knew what he was doing and that it was corporates fault and not his but that I couldn't speak to corporate only he can. But also that he doesn't have any of my information because only corporate can access my files. So then why am I paying Peter Chai? he is a POINTLESS MIDDLE MAN. He again insisted he was correct and when I showed him proof of his unprofessionalism and inaccuracy of information he flipped his lid and stormed out and never came back to the office until I was gone. So I was left to deal with his teenage office workers who have no idea what they are doing. Basically it was the run around for two years with them I had my license suspended FOUR times for two days each until they sent DMV proof of my insurance coverage once I demanding corporate send my information. Because they kept telling me they would get to my file when they could they were backed up. Being backed up should have anything to do with sending my insurance coverage to DMV that is your fault not mine and I have gotten a ruined record because of it and they have made no attempts to help resolve this. As these suspensions will stay on my record for THREE YEARS and dramatically effect the cost of insurance with any other carrier. Being insured by Peter Chai has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE. I highly advise against his office as non of them are qualified to do their jobs. The whole reason for their existence is completely pointless as they don't do anything of importance. I could have paid a baby monkey to do a better job at handling my car insurance. read more
