Actually, the initial visit didn't get the issue fixed, but they were very good about getting back out and making it right - and not at my expense. That's just life, not everything works the first time. What makes great customer services is how you deal with issues like this, and they were wonderful. I should have done a review then, but didn't. Today JR was back out to look at our furnace that wouldn't start. Found the issue quickly, fixed it and refused to let me pay for the visit. They certainly will always get any of my business, and I will highly recommend them to our neighbors, family and friends. Quality work from quality people!

After quoting you, Jed doesn't apply pressure to go through with the deal--just simply "call me if you'd like to schedule." One thing I liked about the AC unit replacement is that he personally walked me through how to gain the 10-year warranty. Jed also goes the extra mile to suggest helpful upgrades, that typically he does pro bono, like adding a new pad underneath the AC unit. He will also give you a balanced professional opinion, like letting me know I do not yet need to complete work I had asked him to do, instead of just taking my money for a job. Even after the job is done, Jed encouraged me multiple times to call him when the outside temp is above 80 to doublecheck the freon pressure. He cares about the sustainability of his work even after he left the job site. Jed is very conscious of energy efficiency of the units installed. Many contractors don't accept credit card, but Jed does and he was conscious of protecting my credit card data. If you speak with Jed on the phone, have some patience as he does speak slowly. Jed's crew member was kind, and they took care to lay down cloths over the interior floors to avoid dirtiness. They arrive on time and complete work on time.

I also received a complete explanation of the process that would be used and the scope of the work, the material safety data sheets on the chemicals, and "Five Mold Myths" which really helped put the whole mold issue in perspective ("it's not the next asbestos"). The team answered all my questions, always returning phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner. As they did the remediation, they explained things step by step, and even though it was miserably hot I never heard one complaint. Between the heat and the old part of the crawlspace the job took longer than anticipated, but they never cut corners or rushed to get done - in fact, they had to come back the next day to finish because they wanted to make sure it was done properly. Pricing was excellent. It fell between their estimated cost but usually businesses end up at the higher end or over. Theirs fell closer to the lower end. This business is amazing.
