We called Summers because we had some major furnace issues. We bought a house that was apparently a terrible reno job and everything you could think of was wrong. The duct work was crushed throughout the house, ductwork leading to walls without vents, etc. We had been working with another company recommended to us since we are new to the area, but after they ghosted us and with negative temperatures in the forecast, I called Summers to get a quote on our big job that needed done. They were able to send someone out within a couple hours, gave us a quote on the spot and was back within less than a week to get the job done! Every technician who came out was excellent! We did have to have them out more than once, at no fault of theirs, just because of issues with how messed up our furnace issues were. Even some of the plumbers came out to do some work and they alerted us to other issues that the incompetent people who renovated the house did and will eventually need fixed. We appreciate all the hard work from all of the technicians! They were all friendly, personable and efficient. We now enjoy having heat working properly in our home! Thank you so much!!! We signed up for their safety and comfort plan and I am glad we found a reputable company to work with in the future! They stepped up when another company left us high and dry with extremely cold weather coming in, knowing that we have a little baby in the house. More than disappointed. I paid to have a plumbing job completed by a licensed plumbing company of whom I thought was reputable. Instead, I was sent out by more than 1 employee to pick up their parts, the job was obviously done wrong & never completed. When speaking to management, blame shifted from one employee to the next, then to the restoration company, to who ever originally put this shower in & back again. In the end I would absolutely NEVER recommend Summers for any Plumbing issues and therefore will no longer trust them for heating & air. When you call a company to complete a job, you would like to think they would take it from there and rest assured that your home & your investment is their top priority. Not the case. read more

We had our hot water heater go out and start linking from the top on a Sunday morning. I called Summer's and less than an hour later Mr. Reeves was at our house to install a new hot water heater. We talked with him about the different types of water heater and what was best for us. We had a 50 gallon electric hot water heater installed that day. The next day we changed our minds about the hot water heater and called to see if they could change it out for a different water heater. Mr. Reeves said that was not a problem and they would refund the original cost for hot water heater that we had installed and come to install our tankless hot water heater. Mr. Reeves and another coworker came about a week later and install our Navien tankless hot water heater. Him and his coworker did a great job, answered all of our questions while they were working on the installation of our new hot water heater. Went over everything about the new hot water heater, warranties, rebate through Vectren, the tax credit, and expectations of the water heater. They were very kind, courteous and professional. We lost AC going into Labor Day weekend. We called Summers and they were out at our house on that Friday within the hour. Unfortunately, the news was not great and we ultimately had to have the furnace and heating pump replaced. While this was not the outcome we were anticipating, Kyle was extremely genuine and tried many outlets to try and get things working before replacing them. They ended up coming out on a Saturday to make sure that we had everything up and running. In addition, Kyle was very responsive. He answered all of our questions and concerns via text and over the phone. Kyle and the other technicians were all very friendly, and knowledgeable and didn't mind my dog's unsolicited need for attention. Our regular Cooling maintenance visit was scheduled for today. First Kyle came out and inspected our unit which is over 14 years old. He took pictures of what he saw and explained why it was best to replace it sooner than later. He also recommended that a special unit be installed on the side of the furnace, which would require only one filter versus the 6 that are currently being replaced in multiple rooms. He was so friendly, informative and helpful in explaining everything that we needed to know in order to make an informed decision. Within hours, the other team members, Matthew and Louie, were hard at work, installing our new equipment. Again, they were super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations. We began using Summers based on a friend's recommendation, and have been happy with their service for several years now. read more

We recently noticed some noises coming from our Air Conditioner unit. We are on an annual service contract with Summers (we have done this for some time now), so I called them this morning. They were able to get a technician (Krieg) to come and check it out. He called 30 minutes before arriving to let me know he was on the way. Upon arriving, he was prepared with a face mask, gloves, and booties. We agreed that I would stay at a distance but close enough to provide information on the problem. He turned system on and immediately went to the heart of the unit (which took considerable effort). He obviously is well trained. It seems that the set screw that locks the "squirrel cage" fan to the motor shaft had been improperly installed at the factory (the unit is only 5 years old). It took quite a bit of effort to get to the problem, but he quickly fixed it, tested it out, and we were back in business (with air). I continue to be very pleased with Summers PHC and highly recommend them. read more

They have a decent maintenance program. They show up when they say they will. Repairs are too expensive.

These guys were great! We had a pipe leak and our carpet was completely soaked. They came out to the house within an hour and found the problem! They told us they were going to have to cut into the drywall to make the fix. I expected to have to schedule a separate time for them to do this work. They did it right on the spot and had us fixed up within an hour! I was so impressed with how friendly and speedy they were. They didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. They went straight to business. I will definitely be calling them again with any further issues we have! read more
