My husband came here due to only a few shops being open since the virus outbreak and he had our kids with him. Throughout the cut the on who was cutting his hair had braids and can not remember her name she was not filtered at all when gossiping to the coworker about other coworkers so it was uncomfortable for them..to top it off they cut his hair disappointing and literally cut him behind the head and just said "oh my bad" I don't give yelp reviews but this aggravated me. A woman did my sons hair cut, but I feel her style isn't the normal style for this particular hair cut. My sons hair was uneven. I won't be coming back. Really upset at the fact that I went in there and first of all no one greeted me. I sat down because everyone looked busy. Three more men came in and they took them in right away so I asked if they went by appointments and they said no. I had asked them if I could get a trim on my hair and they said they didn't do trims. My mom went in there a couple of days ago and got her hair trimmed, I seen the lady that trimmed her hair and she just stood quiet while I asked about the hair trimming. I don't understand why they couldn't trim it for me. They're rude people. I definitely don't recommended this place. It's always dirty and doesn't have the best customer service. read more

Needed a haircut and came to this shop. They have cockroaches roaming around and when you walk in mo one greets you, communicates how long the wait is. Very loud music as well. The cockroach creeped me out so I left. Probably better places to go. read more

i finally decided to get a decent haircut.. it had been several years since I went into an actual salon and have an actual professional clip my coif. Im glad on a whim and influenced HUGELY by location {7 mins} and found myself at Prickley Pete's with Stephan. It wasn't "hi how are you?" right off the bat and although made to feel decently welcom and comfortable ..I proceeded to ask if he could help a "special needs" for the hair type of situation,,[unique in situation to say the least ] but it was a conundrum. anyways I don't want to say what Stephan solved for me but could only smile as we discussed my hair looking shorn, not unlike camel hair, looking as if someone might have used a scythe, and of course , did I cut it myself? conversation certainly didn't flow but I found Stephan to be sincere, serious, somewhat amiable and cultured beyond most. and I love my cut! note! ..to be continued! before and after pics in 72 hrs! read more

Drove all over town looking for a place to get my haircut. After two failed stops at "chain" shops I bumped into this place by chance. Walked in. No nonsense which was refreshing. My hair was a total embarrassment when I walked in and had the attitude I didn't expect much, just get the hair off me. LOL My barber (sorry I didn't get his name) was an apprentice going to barber school. I told him what I wanted and he cut away. What impressed me the most was he was pleasant and took his time. And I'll be damned he nailed it! Honestly with my hair as long as it was I wasn't expecting much but my hair now looks awesome. This guy did an outstanding job. I may have to drive a bit longer from now on but I have found a new home. Recommend this place very highly. See ya next time! read more

Went in to get my haircut today. Found them because it's near work in Hesperia and they don't close till 7pm, which is great for people that work a 9-5. MIL did not get my barbers name but he did a good job. Just showed him a picture of what I wanted and replicated it for the most part. Price was a little steep at $14, but you pay for what's in style. Overall, very satisfied and will return. I will try different barbers next time and see what they can do. read more

I work in the same plaza and I can't believe it took me this long to come here, it's pretty far from home and I usually don't have time to get a cut before work. went in expecting a half hour wait but they seated me right away and was out of there in about 25 minutes, clients and barbers all seemed to know each other, all customers were warmly welcomed as they walked in, everyone seemed happy and in a good mood. I usually go to the chain salons, I haven't been to an actual barber shop in at least 10 years. The whole experience was great from the perfect cut to the traditional barber products they used with that clean old school smell to the neck message in the end. Not from area but choose this place because they accept card for $1, regular haircut $12 and skin $14. Six of seven barber chairs were employed so there was no wait. Wanted an undercut on a whim, found this place on Yelp, and stopped in on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and that guy was willing to help until I told him what I wanted. He said he couldn't do it and that the girl who could wouldn't be in until Monday. So, I was prepared to find another place but as I was walking out, another barber told me to show this other lady what I wanted. She looked at the picture and said she'd do it. She was in the middle of a haircut so I sat and waited about 20 minutes, no big deal. She looked at the picture I had, put the cape on me, and started. She asked if I liked where she parted it, I made suggestions, we made a decision and she cut. Took about 15 minutes and I was done. It was nothing special, but what I wanted and looked good. Cost me $20 plus $1 card fee and a tip. I feel like this is a good shop for just about anyone. There were male barbers and female hairdressers. Women, men, and kids all getting haircuts.
