Even though the website did note that if some flowers are unavailable, the flowers will be replaced with others. However, not only did the florist not have the promised yellow vase, but it also did not arrange the flowers anything like I was promised. While the bouquet looked decent, I was a little disappointed with how different it looked from the picture. A little part of me thinks that the product received looks like it's worth a lot less than the picture.

We met twice at her studio in Magnolia to discuss the look we wanted, our budget, etc. She emailed a color, 12 page proposal w? photographs, listing every item she would provide (and the price for each, which made it easy to add/delete items) Julie has amazing attention to detail. In addition to the usual flowers .. bridal party, centerpieces, ceremony flowers (we had an arbor, nosegays on the end of each row & petals scattered down the aisle), she also thought to suggest the "extras" that really made it come to life... things like "loose florals" placed on wine barrels with floating candles in cylinder vases, petals and votives on the guest book and place card tables & in the powder room, bud vases with flowers for small tables during cocktail hour, etc. that were simple so very reasonably priced but that really gave that "wow" factor. She thought to ask for swatches of dress fabrics & table linens, even the ribbon we were using on the wedding ceremony programs, so everything matched PERFECTLY. Julie was also VERY resourceful about reusing everything... all of the ceremony & cocktail hour flowers were whisked away and reappeared in different locations for the dinner! Julie also has a huge array of decorative items she will let you use free of charge! We used a lot of votives ( both crystal and mercury glass), large candlesticks, hurricanes, glass cylinders with floating candles, silver trays for place cards, silver pedestals for more candles, etc. She didn't charge for any of this! We also got our tent lighting through Julie... GORGEOUS crystal chandeliers that were prettier & cheaper than area rental companies. At the end of the night, Julie miraculously and unobtrusively wraps up all of the flowers to take home/give to friends! AMAZING! She is so lovely to work with! Professional, kind, flexible... highly recommended!!

Julie was able to work within our budget and came up with beautiful and creative arrangements based on the limited PInterest photos I showed her. I am not someone who usually pays much attention to florals, but the large arrangements she made for our ceremony were breathtaking. Julie also had lots of accessories - vases, candles, lighting, trays - to add extra polish to the venue, and we really appreciated having all of that available. One thing I will say is that flowers come in so many colors that it's a good idea to be VERY specific about the exact color palette you're trying to achieve - that is my only regret. Bella Rugosa is really the best. We ended up with amazing flowers and Julie made the process so easy. I highly recommend!

My husband and I were having a hard time locking down our wedding planner and we just were feeling a little lost. Then we met Kristine - and it was all better! Kristine was SO accommodating - she lives in the San Jose area and came to San Francisco to meet us with a beautiful sample arrangement. The minute we sat down and started talking about our vision, Kristine and I were immediately on the same page. Throughout the wedding planning process, Kristine's communication skills were perfect. We had a constant back and forth dialogue about flowers, colors, ribbons, ideas --- I went to her for opinions about almost everything for the wedding. Kristine is just so creative and knows how to put together flowers and a vision in a way that is organic and fresh. You won't get gerber daisies and carnations with Kristine, you will get class and beautiful flower ideas (however Kristine is super cost conscious and always gives you choices!!). There were a lot of times where I left the decision up to Kristine because I trusted her that much!! Fast forward to our wedding day --- a 95 degree day in Livermore, CA. It was HOT!! However, Kristine's flowers were PERFECT until the end of the evening (and even the next day - the resort used the flowers to decorate!!). Kristine was there most of the day to make sure everything looked perfect and to check in with me to make sure I loved everything about my bouquet, the boutineers, all of the arrangements). Her arrangements were creative, the flowers were beautiful and you could see the love and attention she puts into her work. Our tables looked phenomenal, my bouquet was out of this world. It was still 80*+ at 9pm and I was amazed by how perfect a single cafe au lait dahlia looked next to our cake. I can't just say enough about how amazing it was to work with Kristine and how talented she is. I'm so sad the wedding is over because I don't get to work with her --- she was that awesome! Kristine is so nice and easy to work with. The flowers are not the typical ones you see in traditional arrangements, but were unique, with different colors and textures. I will definitely be ordering from Sickle and Seed again!
