Peter's II has been around for many years, and I have past here numerous times, but never knew it exist. This small diner appeared to be a favorite place for locals since many of them knew each other. Appearance was a bit outdated but very clean. The menu had many choices for breakfast, and lunch. There was only one sever and I believe only one cook who severed the meals and was busing tables. I ordered the Shepard Omelet 3 eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon, potatoes and onions. The omelet was loaded with cheese, and potatoes but hardly any bacon. Since they were busy and short staff I had to waited a while for my check, and I really didn't care for the food. read more

The food was pretty good but the inside was discusting the floor was sticky none of the tables were cleaned off and the service was just ok. No one came to ask if I wanted a refill on my drink. Overall not a place id recommend read more

First time here. I ordered eggs over easy with housemade corned beef hash and side of home fries and toast. It was terrific !! I love when a place makes their own hash. Everything was jot and perfect at a fantastic value. I will be going back . read more

Perfection in a diner! Each time we visit a diner place like this we are always pleasantly surprised! The service was great and the food was delicious. I landed on the veggie omelet. It was delicious the service was solid as well. Finally the pancakes were the fluffiest I have ever had in my life. My hubby had to cut me off. Less than 25 bucks before tip for a good meal! We stopped in this small, casual cafe on a Wednesday at 11:15AM and caught the end of the breakfast crowd and the beginning of lunch. It is one of those locals places where several of the customers knew each other. On entering we found menus on a table so we took two and seated ourselves in a booth. Our waitress soon appeared and brought us ice water and a coffee for my wife while we perused the relatively large menu. The waitress told us breakfast is served all day. My wife chose the blintzes with blueberry filling while I went with a cheese and spinach omelet with wheat toast. The omelet was on the thin side which I prefer, but it was tad salty and I could not really taste the feta cheese. Both dishes would have been better had they been served in a timely fashion and not at almost at room temperature. Overall, we felt our meals were acceptable but nothing special. read more

This spot is one of the Cheshire locals favorites. It's small, it's been there forever, and it's got that hometown diner kinda feel. The portions are generous, and the prices are low. I'm surprised this place doesn't have higher ratings to be honest. Maybe because of the atmosphere? That could use an update, but come on - this place has been here for YEARS! They're still staying true to good food, and cheap! Which is awesome as everywhere else the quality goes down, portions go down, and prices go up. So shoutout to this spot I had the tuna sandwich, on a pita with sweet potato fries. We sat outside, bc Fall in CT creates a great outdoor weather environment. They're doing what they can for Covid times with creating a little sitting area in the parking lot to accommodate people who are still weary to dine inside. Came back to Peters after a couple of years and wanted to see if the new owners had resurrected the place. Unfortunately they have NOT. Fresh paint and stain over the tired paneled decor would have probably been better left alone. The added 3 flat screen televisions just seem odd for such a small and tired breakfast place. The menu is essentially the same Greek style diner offerings, but the prices are up and the portions have shrunk to all time lows. On the bright side, the waitress was quite pleasant and responsive. There are several options to choose for breakfast in Cheshire and I would make this one my last one. Hits the spot for lunch or brunch. Huge menu, lots of options, including healthy choices. Service is friendly, fast, and efficient. Food is a fine, well executed example of classic diner style. We had a western egg white omelette and the hash & eggs. Very satisfying at a great price, but the 3 stars is for the obviously canned peppers in the western omelette. I used to like coming here with my family when the old owners had ran it. They used to have Greek night once every month which we really liked going to. This place pretty much stayed the same, except for Greek night :(. The service is always good and the wait staff are attentive. Relax if they don't get to you right away, some of these girls are waiting on 10 tables at a time. Ask for what you need in 1 shot and you will get it. LOL. They also are on restaurant.com and have coupons. We got $25 bucks worth of food for $8. It is worth it for that alone. I love their sausage and eggs. Very fluffy, big omlets also. read more

OK for breakfast. They have your usual breakfast menu but prices are pretty high for the quality of the food. I've only been twice and had an omelette both times. It wasn't horrible, I've just had much better especially for the price. read more

Under new ownership since late 2018. New owners are attentive, and food is excellent with good portion size. This is going to be our go to place for breakfast! They also serve lunch and are open a couple evenings per week for dinner. read more

I wasn't impressed the previous couple of times, but I was hungry and down that end of town . .Suffice it to say, I won't be back. Waited on by the owner. Ordered a pastrami sandwich she said was very good.. $2.75 more for fries.. the sandwich had barely any meat on it,very salty, a tastless piece of tomato and the fries were limp and barely warm.. opened the sandwich to the waitress who only said well that's how we serve it.. didn't see her again.. at least up close.. First time ever that i haven't left a tip.. over priced for what you get, which wasn't all that great. and it was barely crowded before noon...Wasted the calories and $11. Next time Ill head back to Graces even iif it is out of my way. read more
