Diane is the best dental hygienist I've ever been to and Dr. Gregory Peters is wonderful. Both are gentle and skilled. Both make you feel extremely comfortable and at home. I never feel like I'm being pressured into unnecessary services. I would recommend coming here and I have been a patient for over 10 years. In that time, I have not needed any major work done. Been coming here for years but never again. This office has turned into a joke. Schedule appointments yet still have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes after your appointment to be seen. Now they don't even check if services are approved by insurance prior to having the work done, so you pay what they say you owe on services they recommend just for them to send you a bill months later stating your insurance denied the claim. been coming here for 5 years bc it was recommended, not what it used to be anymore, new staff and new Dr. who acted like a smart ass who was trying to humiliate me ( I literally wanted to get up and leave) so of course it will be my last visit here. My 6:30 appointment was a waste of time because all he said to me was buy sensodyne toothpaste. The previous Dr would put something on my tooth for the sensitivity but not this one. Also, I received an invoice in the mail sometime in late March for I don't know what because I never get any major work done except just my cleaning twice a year and I have a PPO and cleanings are free !!! When I went in April for my first teeth cleaning of this year I noticed the new staff and it didn't feel right. I had been coming to this office for over 30 years. I will no longer be coming to this office. The dentists in the past have been fantastic. Since the new front office and billing staff have been added everything has turned into a terrible experience. The 'management' Jackie and the lady that works in the front to the right have made this office absolutely unbearable. They stated they do not run eligibility to check insurance status and will bill you if there is a lapse without notice. They dropped my coverage and did not notify me and then charged me and refused for months to refund the amount and then kept some of my money and said it was to cover out of pocket expenses. My insurance stated they were out of network for 2 weeks and that was when I saw them. They did not notify me and the office staff Jackie stated that they do not run eligibility and there are too many patients to have time to do that. That is extremely unethical and poor business practice. I do not recommend this office. It is of poor care for it's patients when it comes to insurance. It is unfortunate that I even selected my insurance because this office took this insurance and then they failed to provide ethical and legal care by not notifying me about their temporary changes. read more

Best dentist I've ever been to. I've been a patient for 20 years. When I came here my previous dentist recommended all my fillings come out and new ones be done as they were old and falling apart. When I got upset with the dentists recommendation he said well you have insurance to pay for it, when I asked if he would accept just that as payment of course no! My first appt no such recommendation and I asked Dr Peters if all my fillings looked ok and he said why yes. In all these years I've only had a couple cavities redone and one or two root canals done. I have gone to Dr. Peters for years. If this rating was for him only, it would be higher. He is a good dentist. In fact, I have moved 4 times over the years and still drive almost an hour to see him. Post COVID, I noticed that a lot of the office staff was different. On two occasions I have gone in and had horrible experiences with "Jackie" their office person who also handles billing. On a previous visit she argued with me at the counter claiming that my insurance coverage was only 80% and wanted me to agree to additional charges. Having just completed open enrollment, I insisted that her records were incorrect. She finally called my insurance company and verified that I was correct. After my last visit, she charged me before I left stating that I owed money. When I inquired what the charge was for, she could not tell me specifically why I was being charged? Then she said that I needed to check my insurance statement. I did not receive a statement. I checked online and all fees were paid. I paid the fee, against my better judgment, exact cash and left. When I got home, I called the insurance company and they confirmed again that my dental work was paid in full and I shouldn't have been charged. I called the office again twice and both times I was told that "Jackie" was not available. I then said that I would drive down there and I suddenly got a call back. "Jackie" proceeded to tell me that she was on the phone with my insurance company to find out why they didn't pay the full amount. Bottom line, BEWARE...this dental office is no longer running accurate paperwork or the people managing it do not know what they are doing. It also appears that they are submitting higher costs for payment above what 100% coverage is with deductible. After several years, I will not be returning. If you have work done, be prepared to keep track of all fees. Don't agree to work until you verify what the insurance will pay at 100%. Then compare their prices with those fees. Update: The office did send me a check for the amount that I was over-charged after my insurance paid 100%. I appreciated the reimbursement, but my issue is the amount of effort on my part to prove an error was made. I also wonder how many other patients are being charged that shouldn't be charged? I am certain that if I had not challenged the situation, I wouldn't have been reimbursed. read more

I had three root canal/crowns done here by Greg. I had a ton of pain after the work was done and even abscesses in areas of my gums. I have had pain ever since. He did a laser treatment on my gums and told me there was nothing wrong with the work, and he was very rude about me even questioning him. Now, a few years later, I went to another dentist to get a different tooth fixed and he showed me my xrays. The teeth he worked on look so scary . There are gaps around the edges where they were supposed to be fitted, and they were made and installed completely crooked. He wouldn't fix them and charged me extra for laser treatment for his poor work. Now, I have had exams by two dentists who will not work on the tooth next to the crowns because they won't fit something up next to work that is fitting so poorly. I'm going to have to have all areas re-treated. Needless to say, I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Can't say enough how grateful I found Dr. Peter's dental office. I had a very unique case where I needed an implant completed however due to the nature of how the abutment was installed by a different dentist before I relocated, it was angled very peculiarly. I had to travel far as no other dentist in my area deals with this particular model and were in my insurance's contract network. So I took the chance and came to Dr. Peter's after much frustration. Off the bat he knew it would be a challenge (just as the other dentists I visited) but he was one of the few that assured me it could be done. And true to that, he did! He worked with a lot of care and attention, he used technology that ensured precision and true fit (saving me a return visit to my oral surgeon) and his staff was wonderful as well and attentive despite being short staffed. Do not go here!!! They do not verify your benefits nor if they take your insurance. My husband has been coming here for several years and they are billing us because they didn't verify if they took insurance. They also never verified or have updated his patient information. I'm terrified of the dentist. Like full blown panic attacks at the thought of going in. However I needed a cleaning as I was in quite a few weddings. I went in for a consult and they understood my fears and gave me some medication to calm me before coming back in for a cleaning. A few months later I was in extreme pain and called. They fit me in the next day and told me I needed my wisdom teeth out. Knowing my fears they referred me to a oral surgeon who could sedate me and also got me in that day.
