I haven't been able to leave a review yet because I can't see through the tears as I write this, so bare with me. I had a company come into my home & install a furnace a couple of months ago, as the cool air started to approach we started using our "new" furnace. After about 2 days I started feeling very sick with headaches & body aches along with my husband & our 2 kids & our dogs. We couldn't figure out what was going on. After multiple attempts with this other company I contacted Peterson Heating and cooling And they came right out & tested my home for C/O and immediately shut the gas off to my house. we finally figured out the company didn't install my furnace properly & me & my whole family were being poisoned from Carbon monoxide from this company doing a very terrible install. I knew from the moment I met the owner Zach that they were the company I was having take out this crappy furnace & install a new one the right way. I did have four other companies come take a look, but I felt the most comfortable with Paterson's Long story short, Zach was honest to God a Lifesaver! He came in & took out the botched furnace, cleaned up the huge mess the other company left, installed a vent & made my house warm again ( we haven't had heat for the last 5 weeks) My family & I couldn't be more grateful for Peterson's & the compassion they showed us. I NEVER write reviews, but I actually asked the owner of, Peterson Heating & Air, if I could write one for him! Zach is the owner of this small family owned business and is completely committed to quality work and absolute transparency. He was honest and didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. He let me know of his reasonable service fee to come out, when I made the appointment. So, no surprise charges. Zach got my AC up and running and let me know that it would last me a little longer, but that it would need some work or replacement in the future. We found Zach online about six months ago when we needed a furnace repair. Another company had recommended thousands of dollars of repair. Zach was able to fix the problem for a few hundred dollars and fixed an installation mistake made by a prior HVAC company. So the other day our A/C stopped blowing cold and I called Zach again. He came on time and did a thorough inspection of everything that could possibly be causing the problem. He found a problem in the breaker panel and got it repaired. That fixed it, and the air is blowing cold again. He is professional, prompt, friendly, honest, and a true HVAC expert. His prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!!! Zach did a great job. He came and evaluated our situation and provided a recommendation for a replacement system. He was candid about which systems provided the best value, and even provided advice that would be important if I chose not to go with him. His quote was the best I received by far. He also was able to complete the install on a much quicker schedule than the other competitors I got quotes from. If I could put a sixth star I sincerely would! Our furnace unexpectedly went out and so I called over ten different companies to get quotes on the project. Peterson Heating and Cooling had the best customer service (spent almost an hour in my home answering questions I had about the project), the best price ($500 lower than competing companies offering the same product), and quickest response (was in my home within an hour of calling him to do an estimate and then had it replaced the next day). We were so impressed with Peterson Heating and Cooling! When our furnace went out late at night Zach come over within an hour of us calling him to give us a bid. He free up his schedule so he could come replace our furnace the very next day. They worked quietly, quickly, and clean. They were very friendly and took the time to explain all the details of the furnace. The price was $500 dollars lower than other bids we received from different companies. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about a place that only had 5 star reviews but after reading them I decided to give Peterson's a try. My a/c fan on top of the outside unit stopped. When I called he apologized for being booked the next day but promised to come the following afternoon. He gave me a one hour window and even gave me updates on his arrival time. He was prompt, friendly and fixed my problem in less than half an hour. I will certainly call him again for any heating or cooling needs. read more

Zach installed our AC system. I was very happy with the whole experience. He was quick to respond by email or text. He was polite, patient and trustworthy. He and James were great about keeping the area clean. He went above and beyond to be sure he caused the least amount of damage to the house as possible (considering the extent of the job), which was a great show of superior customer service. After coming home from a summer vacation to a frozen air conditioner and a 90 degree home, I called Peterson Heating and Cooling that night, they were able to come over the next morning. They found out that there was water leaking on the logic board that toasted it. He looked up my unit and found it it was covered under my warranty and provided all the labor and parts for free. Zach was very timely and quickly replaced a broken A/C unit that I found myself with in Salt Lake City. I called him in the morning and he was able to check it out and give me a quote that afternoon. He did a great job and we were very happy with the unit and the installation. They are a very good company, honest and dependable.
