Went back for their Ethiopian food. As always, absolutely delicious food. PS - you can ask for more injera and they usually give it to you for no extra charge!

The best restaurant in SB. (To me) :)The attention to detail the chef has is remarkable. The branzino, mushroom crostini, and mushroom soup are my favorites. The menu changes according to the season. The French wine I had last night here was lovely. They do Ethiopian cuisine for lunch on the weekends can't wait to try it out.

Love love this place. Owner is TRUE French chef. All the dishes are super! It is level of Michelin! If you choose any dishes here you will be amazed. I really hope this restaurant continues long time. Very very good quality French dishes here. Thanks to Chef!!

What a lovely restaurant! We went to an early dinner before a show at the Granada. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The vibe of the restaurant was very European and welcoming. We started with the mushroom crustini and cheese plate and then the chef did a split plate on the veal as our entree. Every bite was flavorful and fantastic! The portions are generous... perfect for sharing. And the pricing was very reasonable. A nice touch was the chef coming out to check on us!

Every time I am a new town I look for French restaurants since they are hard to find these days. Found a good one in Santa Barbara. Very pleasant dinner with excellent food. Inside was a vintage building with pretty decor. They also had outside tables in the passageway which would have bee nice in warmer weather. We started with excellent bread and a crab cake and then went for the veal Milanese and finished with a creme brûlée. Everything was perfect and the serivvce very good. Parking is available a black away.

Driving back to Ventura and had to stop here! My bf loves this place. We cannot drive by SB and not stop here. He loved the chicken and lamb! He also really enjoyed the red cabbage, mushrooms and lentils. Good customer service.

We stopped here for a weekday lunch and it was mostly empty when we arrived. They have a few lunch specials. We had the steak with mushroom crostini and the crab cake with spicy avocado sauce. Both were delicious. Our food was a bit slow to arrive because they seemed understaffed. There seemed to be only two people working: one waiter and one cook. Nice decor inside and several tables outside.

First time coming to Ebony and first time trying Ethiopian food!…read more I was so happy with this place; came with a friend on a Friday night and there was no wait and open seating. We sat outside and there was a view of the concert that night so it was a great vibe and we had a great time. We did the family style for two ($39) with four entrees, salad, and the injera. We chose the following: Spicy misir wot - lentil based and lots of different spices Shiro wot - chickpeas based Enguday tibs - sautéed mushrooms; super flavorful and the most different from the other dishes we got (more saute style; less pasty or saucy) Denech alicha wot - potatoes and carrots Injera - came with this spongey crepe like roll that you can eat with all the sauces/dips/entrees You order first and then sit wherever you want. We did wait a little bit because they accidentally lost our order due to a big party before us, but the staff was so nice and apologetic even though we didn't mind at all. He even gave us free Ethiopian tea for us while we waited and offered banana bread, which was so sweet. But the food came out shortly after that and it was well worth the wait! So good! The vibes were great and I will definitely come back again.

The food at T&T Lifestyle is bland, just completely lacking in spice and flavor and doesn't taste like authentic Ethiopian food at all. My friend and I ordered the Eat the Rainbow platter and the tacos. I was completely underwhelmed with the blandness of each of the 4 dishes (kale, cabbage, red lentils and yellow lentils). The tacos had lentils and potatoes inside but the consistency was weirdly mushy and firm at the same time and they tasted like wet cardboard to me. Why call this place Berbere when they don't even put that in the food? I would recommend making the extra drive to Fairfax and eating at one of the places in little Ethiopia for some authentic cuisine instead (my favorites are Meals by Genet, Rosalind's and Lalibela). In addition, we ordered one scoop of ice cream to share but the waiter brought two different dishes of ice cream for each of us. I thought they had split up the scoop but he charged us for both. Also as I was packing my food to go, I asked for some extra Injera. Each small half roll cost a dollar ... they don't charge at the Fairfax restaurants so that further put me off this place.

My cousin is vegetarian and had been here before and liked it. We decided on the well wishes combination platter with feeds 2 and was a great variety of lentils, squash, cabbage, pumpkin. The chai, however, fell far short of expectation. While I appreciate the effort of a house blend, it sadly lacked any spice or uniqueness. It was liquid, it was brown, and it had some sweet to it. But didn't get any hint there was spice. That may be what they were going for, but it definitely won't make my list of chais to come back for. On the plus side, the egg tartine was tasty and well prepared! And we had a wonderful conversation with a local at the outdoor seating area. Overall, pleasant eating experience, but not my cuppa chai.

Event was held on an evening the restaurant was closed so can't comment on general noise level Service: no issues, staff was extremely helpful with clearing the dishes, bringing out to go boxes pre emptively prior to the end of the event to allow guests to take leftovers to go Food: - Proteins were surprisingly not overly cooked/dry! Hard to say this routinely about salmon and chicken - Pizza/flatbread: nothing super standout but crust was not dry, tasted mostly of cheese - Oven baked sweet potato: garnished with strawberries and cheese, blistered for a nice caramely flavor on top of the already nice sweetness - Pasta salad: nothing special but also nothing alarmingly bad - Sadly didn't get to try to tuna crispy rice - Desserts: an assortment of small eclairs, profiteroles, and brownies -- feel like this is where the food fell flat. The eclair and profiterole pastry was kind of flat/dry (didn't taste fresh really). Brownie was probably the best - moist but also nothing super amazing Interested to come back in the future to see how The food (especially the dessert) fairs outside of large events.
