I absolutely ADORE this place and everyone who works here! It's one of the few places that caters to small dogs only (15 pounds and under). My two girls are 4.4 and 6.5lbs, and while other daycare places like Dogtopia are great, my ladies just didn't thrive with all the other pups being so much larger than them. My only wish is that Petite Pup would open a second location in central Phoenix or Arcadia! Seriously I'd be there every day! It takes me about 30 minutes to drive to Petite Pup's current location, and while that isn't terrible, going there and back twice a day equals 2 hours of driving for me. Found this place on social media and saw their reviews were amazing. After checking it out, I of course have to add to it! Beyond impressed and amazed with Petite Pup. I'm a crazy dog mom and the staff was more than welcoming, so knowledgeable, and easily trustable to leave your pup with. Not a huge review person, but when I LOVE a place, I will let others know. When we pull up, he runs to the front door and when we tell him we're going to Petite Pups his tail starts wagging and he gets super excited. The entire staff is always so caring and attentive, and he has made many human and canine pals. They text us photos of him throughout the day when he's there, so we always stay updated on how much fun he's having, and they immediately let us know if he has any issues. I searched around for the right place for my 2 maltipoos which are both under 10 lbs. So grateful to have found close by Petite Pup Daycare which is for small dogs under 15lbs. All the furniture and toys are low to the ground so you know the dogs won't be leaping from high up. My biggest thing is they do not just put your dog in the pen with a bunch of dogs and watch from a far. The staff is on the room, playing with the pups, holding the pups, helping them become confident. This is huge for me. If I wanted my dogs left alone in a room I could have left them at home. What a find! We're from out of state and looked for a day care for our small dog. Not only was Amber accommodating but offered our pup a 3 hour trial to be sure he'd be happy there. Petite Pup is the BEST!!! I have never left my dogs at any daycare or boarding facilities because I didn't feel comfortable with it. However, I feel totally different about Petite Pup. I fully trust the staff of Petite Pup with my tiny fur babies! I know they give them tons of love and attention, while also keeping them safe! Petite Pup cares so much about the individual needs of each dog. There has been so much time and thought put into every detail! I now bring my 5 pound toy poodle for regular weekly play dates. We had to take a few minutes and put our overwhelming appreciation into words so that hopefully others that are considering Petite Pup for their fur baby can read our initial hesitations and see how Petite Pup far exceeded all of our best expectations. Our 9 yr old dog said goodbye to her first fur sissy in April of 2019 and her second, closer fur sissy December 2020 and then in spring of 2021 was diagnosed with IBD - so it's been a tough year for her.... until Petite Pup! I live near Petite Pup and so I am always driving by this shop. I have called and stopped in a couple times, I am considering getting a tiny dog. I am used to big dogs so a little one is new for me. The staff here are so stinkin nice! Literally always answering my questions with a smile. Sometimes when I walk by this place I wave and they wave back! I like that. It is the little things that add up. I have purchased a couple retail items in the shop for friends that have dogs and if I do end up getting a little dog (they specialize in pups under 15 pounds, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE) I would only trust my dog here. Honestly, I have popped into other daycares in the area and they smell gross. Whereas, every time I have popped into Petite Pup it does NOT smell. You can tell the employees care about the shop. My 11 lb Maltese/shitzu loves Petite Pup and so do I! The staff are fabulous! Maddy the groomer always makes her look cute and the furniture is all low to the floor. So I don't have to worry about her getting hurt (she's a climber). If you have a small dog and need daycare this is the place to go. I have tried multiple places for daycare and walked away feeling traumatized by what our 12 pound dog went through. Petite pup was the most amazing place-caring, kindness and sensitivity to our dogs needs. Kathleen the owner and her staff are amazing and I couldn't ask for anything more. Not only, is our dog there for daycare but he can get groomed or even a bath.
