Where do I even begin!, well first let me state that this review is for the TA truck repair shop ONLY! The staff there seem to not want to do anything at all. The bathrooms were disgusting. The service was horrible overall. I had submitted a service request on the app around 12 noon and I indicated that I was going to be arriving around 6pm. I actually got there around 5:15pm, I checked in at the desk and was put in line. Now the app does say that it doesn't guarantee that you will actually be seen at the time you input for arrival, which is understandable. But the whole reason to submit the request via the app is to be put in line while you arrive at location, now im not expecting to be pulled into the bay at 6 on the dot, but at least close to it. I didn't get a call to drive Into a bay until 8pm at night. Now once in the bay my truck sat there for two hours before any one took a look at it and that was only after I was at the reception desk multiple times asking when some one was going to take a look at my truck. All the while im observing a group of at least 5-6 service techs huddled around chatting it up, not doing anything the whole time. It is now 10pm and the girl at reception had to pull someone from a different area to come look at my truck, only to find out that the part I needed has to be ordered because they don't have that in the shop. At this point I was frustrated, but I was reasonable and understood. I stayed at the lot overnight, now they told me the night before that the place they order the parts from doesn't open until 8am the next day, that as soon as it did they will call order the piece and It wouldn't arrive at the shop until 10am. so im thinking as soon as it arrives im going to be pulled into a bay and get taken care of and be on my way. WRONG!!!! They get the part and tell me that they'll call me in about 30 mins, never happened. I went back and checked every hour on the hour trying to figure out when I was going to get serviced. it wasn't until 4pm in the afternoon that I got a call. once in the bay the tech looks at the part THEY ordered only to find out that the parts shop send the wrong one. And because it was a Saturday after 5pm they wouldn't be able to get the right part until Monday morning. it never occurred to those A**holes to verify that they got the right one as soon as it came in. they would've been able to call the shop and get the right piece sent in before they closed. when I was told this I just walked away got in my truck and drove away. Wasted an entire day just to replace a break chamber. that whole staff are complete incompetent A**HOLES. read more

There are some pretty great reviews on here and I couldn't see it any better! Being a trucker wife and being on the road is my husband. I've seen inflation in these truckstops.. Food is so delicious!! Loved every bite of the hometown cooking! The people who work here are so friendly. It really is a very nice atmosphere. Thank you! I know convenient stores are gonna cost a little more but $12.99 for this little bottle of soap is simply extortion. Taking advantage of truckers because it's their only option is wrong. This is one of the WORST truck stops to get in and out of. They have one exit that is almost always backed up. It can take 45 min to just try and leave this place. It doesn't help that the "guards" at the gate spend more time talking to each other and playing on their phones instead of letting trucks out. The shop at the fuel island is pretty nasty also. The bathroom is filthy, it's poorly lit and the staff are not the friendliest. Go to the Love's across the street. You'll be in and out a lot faster. read more

Stopped to get an oil change and a power steering box tightened up. We got in line at 11:am and we're brought inside at 2:10pm. As of 8:30pm we are still here. The place is filthy as h*ll and the bathrooms are disgusting. The techs spend more time standing around talking than actually doing anything. read more

These truck stop are crooks I went in their lot on 9/14/23 at 2100 and left on 9/15/22 at 2123 I spent 1000 dollars between Diesel fuel good truck wash and they still charged me $25 to leave the parking lot don't waste your money and your time stopping here we should boycott these places so they can see their abuse will not be tolerated read more

On one occasion several employees came up to my big rig and verbally harassed me and my partner George. We put some stuff in their garbage which didnt belong in our trailer. Several of them came up to us and yelled at us and made threats to impound our truck and then called the local police. We did take the items back eventually. read more

Plenty of parking but LAZY AND WORTHLESS cashier. We just got in from the west coast. My husband went inside to grab us two salads and two teas. Something quick to eat before bed. The black guy that was running the register looks at my husband and says, "I'm closed" WTF! How can you be closed and you're the only one standing here to check out customers?? My husband returned the items to their place and other drivers waiting, shook their head in disbelief. This facility gets three stars because the showers are not big enough for two people and the water does not get very hot. However, it was cleaned pretty decent and it got the job done! It also has laundry facility on site. read more

Well my husband is the truck driver I jus ride N help..but as far as this petro it has a reasurant and Arby's .also has shower,chrome shop doctors which I saw today they do walkins 150$ It was fast its not a doctor a nurse practioner he was very knowledgeable and new im in I have a hip sprain now for 8m he told me not to help or do anything with legs well thats gonna be hard... also frist day here woman's bathroom were nasty as hell get him to clean since he has all this time to walk Round telling people what to do Ok anyway back to the petro staff we have been in this facility now all weekend probably 4 days now truck broke down . Every member is polite especially the men that do the shower and keep it clean if you want a big shower you need to as for 15 thru 19 two shower heads and big bathroom area love bad waterpressure if that's up thing like me.. As truck stops goes, the Petro's have became my favorites! These places tend to be bigger than usual truck stops with larger parking lots and more services. This one has even a small training room that is accessible for free with a free membership card to their UltraOne loyalty program (program that is the same that their sister chain TA). In the NYC area, overnight truck parking is a big issue and Bordentown is one of the closer large truck stop to NYC. If you can picture nearly 500 parking space for large trucks, you can image how big this place is but still, they would be overwhelm if they didn't put some form of "moderation". So parking a truck here is free for 2 hours but if you want to stay overnight you'll have to pay or to spend $20 in services here. You can buy some fuel, eat at the restaurant or buy some stuff at their stores, as long as the total is above $20, parking will be free. This is only true for large trucks. For cars, it's always free and not controlled in the front. Restroom are large and very well maintained. I would recommend to anyone to stop here just to see how it looks even if you just drive a car! read more

Awesome. Has all the amenities, huge shop and an Iron Skillet restaurant (which has its own yelp listing). If you're hauling its got something like 500 spaces as well as showers, laundry etc etc. This is the "realist" truckstop in the northeast in my opinion. Location is sort of behind the competing Pilot truck stop however I think the Petro is a better choice. read more

Big plus for pet owners, fenced in pet area, by the reserved parking. Iron Skillet for restaurant. Chrome Shop, nice laundry facilities with a lot of units that accept coins and cars. Many seats for the "open" lounge, which is not a separate room like other truck stops. Friendly employees. A lot of parking here. Kind of wish I didn't bother with reserved, arrived 7pm on a Saturday and almost half the lot is avail. for parking. It is one of the "preferred parking" t-stops, meaning pay to park. First 2hrs free, after that it's usually $15-$20 a day. Not sure price here. read more

The restaurant has a decent buffet as well as made to order meals plus the travel store, showers, haircuts, repairs just about anything a traveler would want or need. I live in the NYC Metro area and have family down in MD. I get off of I95 at exit 7 to get over to I295. We ALWAYS stop here to get the low price Jersey gas and have a great meal at the Iron Skillet. This is an excellent truck stop with great amenities. We have a delicious meal and continue on. Food and service are very good for the price. You get a carafe of very good coffee when you order it. No frills and nothing fancy, just good food and a great place to stop to take a break. read more

This is a great place to stop and chill if you have time to kill (as a truck driver). It has a nice big parking lot, a service area for trucks and a place to wash your truck on site. I also enjoy having breakfast at the Iron Skillet and it's nice that the building has a movie room and a game room to help make the time go by. My only complaint is that it could use some friendlier customer service. read more
