I got a large pizza with pepperoni, pineapples, and extra cheese and a meatball sub which was $33 and some change. $39 after tip. I was terribly wrong about the extra cheese. To be quite honest, the sauce was so thin that everything slid off of the pizza slice when you grabbed it up from the box. There was so much cheese on this pizza that everything was melted together and the slices were not even cut properly. I actually had a really hard time eating this pizza and even when I let it harden up a little bit, it was still sliding off of the very thin dough. The crust at the end was phenomenal, but the actual pie itself was a bit of a nightmare. I couldn't eat much more of it and ended up cutting the crust off and just eating that. Sad day. We came, we tried and wouldn't return.

Perhaps the spicy iteration is somehow different? I doubt it. Cost was $3.89 for the sandwich only. I'd pony up the extra 10 cents and find a Popeyes if you want a palatable, even tasty chicken sandwich. Otherwise, settle for a different McDonald's staple that they execute with more experience and precision. For some of us, every dime counts. The disappointment rendered by McDonald's failing to fulfill the potential within this latest menu item cannot be given a price. The hit to your wallet, waistline and psyche simply isn't worth it.
