Oh my gosh!!!!!!!! It just doesn't get better!my heart is full. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the most magical place in the county. Smack dab on the Foxen trail, the magic and the peace you feel just from the location are bar none[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Next you have the most incredible managers who if you're lucky also serve you dinner. The managers treat you as if you are the most precious guests who have just come to their home!!!!! The food is delicious....i always get the pita bread and cucumbers with their famous 3 dips mmmmmmm last night I had a salad with Salmon and it was divine!!!!! And if that's not enough well they are on the wine trail so their wine is to die for!!!!! And it even gets better.....they have a wine tasting menu so you could do that instead.

I've read about this place and was recommended by a few people as well. Not only for the wine tasting but for lunch as they have a restaurant as well. Kill two birds with one stone, we finally made it. The experience that we shared was for a friends birthday party held in the cellar area over the weekend. It hosted about 60 of us. Quick note on property. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute winery/vineyard with the wrap around porches with tables for lunch. Showing was also a beautiful classic car right in the front of the property. Inside there's a seating area with a fireplace and a bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had the cellar room area which could accommodate a large group. There was also a bar that we utilized. They also had a few other rooms if needed. The setting was simple and chic. Long tables with simple single white iceberg rose in a vase and olive branch laid out along the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Started off with some nice wine selection that was for the party. Appetizers was a spinach puff pastries I believe. They were quite nice, which could have been eastern all day. As it was a big gathering it was family style. The arugula salad started off, then came the rice and grilled veggies. Main was the salmon and short ribs. The meat was quite tasty and the short ribs literally flaked off to the touch. It was cooked well and everything was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lunch was very well put together for a big group and the wine was flowing. The menu from the lunch did looked quite nice but we were on a set menu which still was great. The wine choices were great which I was very fond of the Pinot Noir. Very bold and goes down very smooth.

Petros Winery was one of the best restaurants I've been to for Greek food (and I've been to a lot of Greek restaurants). The food was delicious, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the outdoor seating was so stunning and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (See food reviews below) We will definitely drive back here soon!

This place was amazing!! Server was so attentive and answered any questions we had and made great wine recommendations. The dip trio platter was exceptional. If you come you have to get the shrimp salad. All the ingredients in the salad were incredibly fresh. Could eat it every day. I don't even like shrimp that much. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute car outside to take pictures with[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of my favorite if not my absolute favorite place in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fresh food, excellent wine and best peaceful atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No frills, just peace and wine[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Just wanted to thank Robyn for accommodating my large party on such short notice. Came in to celebrate the night before our courthouse elopement in Santa Barbara. We were a party of 22, which included kids. We had an amazing family style dinner which started off with the Spanakopita, so light and perfect ! Our dinner included the most delicious Cesar salad, seriously the best Cesar I think I've had. We had the most flavorful Braised Beef and tasty Chicken Skewers for the main course. The kids had pasta dishes with butter sauce and Marinara, also delicious ! To top it all off we had the most amazing chocolate mousse for dessert ! Everyone in the party LOVED the food and left full and happy, we also had lots of food to take home! The service provided by all the lovely staff was amazing and could not have been better. They were on top of every detail and left us wowed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience of this winery was so romantic and everything about it was just beautiful. The rolling hills , the secluded feel of it. Just perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This winery and everything about our time here was truly special.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you to Robyn and team for the most amazing night! Will definitely be back on our next visit to Los Olivos. *I wish I had pictures of the food but I was too busy digging in and enjoying every minute.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful way to spend Sunday funday. Peaceful winery nestled among oak and olive trees with great views of the mountains[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The food was delicious we enjoyed seafood salad, lamb gyros meatballs ending with a yummy piece of peach cheesecake . The wines were perfectly paired to our entrees we loved the Sav blanc and the GSM blend we spent hours enjoying the talking to the Ricardo our server and enjoying the calming views.

Cute restaurant tucked into the SYV mountains. Made an evening reservation, sat outside and they turned on the warmers for us which was perfect for a cold day. The sunset was amazing btw! Was not too busy and then service was great. Now food. There were 3 of us and we ordered the dip platter which was plenty. We also ordered the seasonal peach salad and that was easily shareable between us as well. The salad was my favorite of the two! For my entree I had the salmon with the veggies and mashed potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was very filling. I will be back again!

Super salad.

After a fun day at Los Olivos this was our last stop for dinner before heading home. Great ambiance, beautiful restaurant with the most amazing service. The food and the wine is delicious. One of our favorites in the area for sure. Will be back again

Ask the Community - Petros Winery

Are they dog friendly for dinner or just when wine tasting?

Petros' ph# doesn't work? Did they go out of business or have a new ph#? The one on their website (same as on the Yelp page) does not go through.

As far as I know they're in business. I was there Friday of thanksgiving weekend and it was busy. Remember they're only open Thursday-Sunday.

Are you guys dog friendly?

Yes!

A Dream Wedding Come True - Thanks to Diana & Steve!…read more It's hard to put into words how truly exceptional our experience was at Foxen Canyon Ranch--but we'll try, because this place (and its people) deserve to be recognized. Diana and Steve are the heart and soul of this venue. From our very first visit, it was clear how much passion and care they pour into every wedding they host. Diana has a gift for bringing a couple's vision to life with warmth, grace, and a standard of perfection that is rare in the industry. Her communication, attention to detail, and calm presence made the entire planning process a joy. What's often underappreciated in the wedding decision process is everything that happens behind the scenes to make a venue look effortless--and Foxen Canyon is a masterclass in that. Steve and Diana work tirelessly, day in and day out, to maintain the ranch in pristine condition. From the majestic longhorns to the charming rose buses to the lovingly restored barn, every inch of the property feels thoughtful and intentional--because it is. Their dedication ensures that on your wedding day, everything is perfect without you even having to think about it. The Crossroads Estate was a last minute changed due to unforeseen circumstances from the original venue at Firestone Vineyard; 5017 Zaca Station Rd. Crossroads Estate is a winery in the town of Los Olivos situated inside the Santa Ynez Valley on Foxen Canyon Road with views of the San Rafael Mountains, features a mixture of grapevines, floral meadows, and dramatic oak trees. It was constructed during the early 20th century, the Crossroads House on the estate is an extraordinary craftsman style home with plenty of rustic vineyard charm. The beautiful ceremony was situated under a very old Oak tree. The Bride came down the path with my Uncle Louie & his wife while a live band playing soft music. She was glowing and very glamorous! It was picturesque and breathtaking. The staffs were in black serving hot appetizers after ceremony. There was a nice table setting with cheese plates and open bar both outside and inside the barn until 9:45PM. The bar had a very nice selection of wines from local wineries nearby; and even serving Belvedere vodka all evening (not your usual cheaply vodka). The buffet dinner was set outside next to a open barn. Pole Barn, which offers an oak bar, raised stage, and iron chandeliers. The salmon and steak was cooked perfectly (not too dry or over cooked). Across the way was a nice selection of the veggies (squash, zucchini, asparagus, portobello mushrooms and mixed green salad bar. They also have a pasta buffet bar serving pappardelle or penne with your choice of cream or tomato sauce and toppings to your liking. I was very impressed with the venue! After dinner they served crepes with sliced bananas, strawberries, freshly made jam, vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of hot melted dark chocolate. I also appreciate the entire staffs. The poor staffs were running around and were very accommodating during the heavy downpours moving the canopy around for the outdoor Chefs and the patrons trying to get their food at the wedding. We danced the night away (while drenched in sweats or rain) in our fine evening wears with a live dj. Most importantly; at the end both the Bride and Groom were very happy! And so were the guests!

After meeting several horses on the property it was clear how effective their methods are. Each horse was so at peace and comfortable with us. The atmosphere on the ranch is serene and inviting and makes a horse lover want to linger. It truly is a wonderful place and all credit goes to Monty and Pat and their amazing lives and perseverance. The bus ride was about an hour from Santa Barbara which was a beautiful ride. When you pull into the facility you're pulling right into wash the barns and the horses and the round pens. Basically what you would consider a large but typical kind of horse farm. This farm is owned by Monty Roberts who has been training horses for a long long time. What he does is train unbroke horses to be able to have a rider get on within a very short amount of time by using techniques that make the horse trust what you're doing. Today we were there the owner of a horse was there at the facility videotaping the process. Within 22 minutes he had one of his writers on that horse without a single buck. The owner of the horse was nearly in tears. This visit wasn't about him training a horse, it was about life in general and how getting people to perform at their highest level without forcing anything out of them. This really was a life lesson not a horse lesson. After this was over he allowed us up to his house where they had cooked an unbelievable lunch for us and set in his backyard overlooking the entire valley and his ranch. The entire experience was unbelievable and something I will never forget and I would encourage anyone to see what it's like.

The greenery, courtyard setting, and relaxed atmosphere make it an enjoyable place to settle in and enjoy a meal. I ordered the Mashawi Combo, which included lamb, beef, and chicken. All three meats were cooked nicely, with each offering its own distinct flavor and texture. My favorite was the beef because it had a satisfying char. It's a great option if you're having trouble deciding between proteins and want to sample a little bit of everything. What really elevated the meal were the accompanying spreads and sides. The baba ghannouj was smoky and creamy, while the garlic sauce added a rich punch of flavor to the grilled meats. The hummus was smooth, and the tabbouli provided bright, herbaceous contrast that balanced the heavier elements of the meal. One of the highlights for me was the pistachio spread. It was refreshingly different from the usual mezze offerings and paired wonderfully with the warm bread. The addition of pomegranate seeds also brought a burst of sweetness and acidity that made each bit refreshing. The only minor drawback was some confusion regarding my reservation because they couldn't find it even though I called, which created a bit of uncertainty at the start of the evening. Fortunately, the staff handled the situation professionally and remained attentive throughout the meal. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience with a chill ambiance.
