I really loved the Presqu'ile Winery. It is really a step above the other wineries in the area. The wine was my favorite in this area that I tasted and they have such a nice indoor and outdoor area The food with the wine and food tasting was delicious. Ours had couscous , salad, lamb kabobs, hummus and cheese with pita bread. I guess it does change monthly or quarterly. The charcuterie boards looked amazing and are a good option if you don't want a multi course meal. Our server was really great and attentive and gave us plenty of info on the wine read more

Presqui'le Winery never fails to amaze me! Whenever my MIL visits, we always make it a point to visit Presqui'le. The weather was beautiful. Sunny, warm, slight breeze with an amazing view of the mountains and ocean view. The food is so fresh because it's all farm to table. The chef changes the menu every season, so you never really get the same things twice! I really enjoyed eating everything on the table today. The service is always good, but today prompted me to finally write a review. I think Alex (boy Alex) has been my favorite server thus far! Since I've been traveling heavily, I haven't been able to maximize my membership. (Thus leading me to cancel it after 3 years) However, my experience today was enough for me to renew it! We stopped at this scenic winery for the first time while driving to Santa Barbara from the bay area. It was a beautiful warm day, so outdoor seating was the only real choice. Ordering the Chef's Mezze Lunch alongside a pairing is also a must. The forbidden rice, hummus and pita, shrimp, farmer's cheese, and salad were all top tier and mostly grown on site. (Presqui'ile chef(s) - if you're reading this, I need your salad dressing recipe from mid-March 2026.) Even though the food was the highlight, I still went away with wine bottles in hand. We loved our lunch and tasting at this beautiful hilltop restaurant and tasting room. It was windy out - so we chose to sit inside. The service was great and attentive. We didn't have a reservation, but were welcomed in warmly. The food was really good with a Mediterranean flare. We loved the aioli with saffron and orange. The wines were good - but didn't find anything we enjoyed enough to purchase. The price for the tasting is a little on the high side. It has been over six months since we visited Presqu'ile, but my husband and I still talk about how the cheese board was the best one we've ever had. I remember our server explaining the cheeseboard as one only does in a winery, explaining each element, giving us a brief history on the baker, and sharing the best wine pairing. We looked at each other and said lol he's probably exaggerating, but yes let's order it. Best decision. We had an amazing afternoon sipping wine, enjoying the sights of the vineyard from the patio, and of course devouring the large tray of bread, cheese and accompaniments. Parking for their music venue is an afterthought. There is a dirt lot for maybe 50 cars. Other than that, you're parking in the dirt after hopping a curb or on the other side by a warehouse. never made it into the concert. read more

It's Worth Becoming A Member..... My wife and I have been to Presqu'ile several times since my last review and it still deserves 5 stars. In our opinion, the food remains their crowning glory. We get the Mezze lunch platter ($30 per person for members) and it never fails to amaze us. A mini buffet of the freshest ingredients brought to your table...accompanied by a glass or 2 of their wine. Now that's tough to beat. During our last visit in late August, the kitchen added 2 items to their menu - A caprese sandwich ($16) and a brown butter chocolate chip cookie ($6). We got 2 cookies, but next time we'll get 12. We can't imagine a better server than Thom. He's the host with the most. Very knowledgeable about both food and wine and never at a loss for entertaining stories. It's worth a visit just to sit at one of his tables. Speaking of tables.....all the outdoor tables have a glorious view of the nearby hills and valley below. One final thing - since my last review, we went to our first pick-up party in the spring for our semi-annual shipment. I tend to shy away from crowds, especially at a winery, but Presqu'ile handled the flow of people, food (lots) and wine (it kept coming) very well. The next one is in late October. read more

Included with the Mezze lunch are beautiful views with comfortable seating. I don't drink alcohol, but they had flavored sparkling water for me to purchase. We came here for our anniversary and it was the highlight of the weekend! While it was the rainiest weekend that we've seen in a long time, the experience at Presqu'ile Winery was still worthwhile despite the weather. One of the main reasons why we chose this place was because we heard the food was fantastic and it did not disappoint at all. It's amazing how fresh everything tastes! I especially enjoyed having a side by side taste of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to capture the difference in the taste profile of the vineyards, estate and non-estate. The outdoor seating was very spacious and I loved that you are looking towards the ocean through the vineyards. Beautiful views, good food and great wine. Found this place while looking at YouTube videos of things to do in the Santa Barbara area. I believe 3 or 4 different videos recommended Presqu'ile. Boy did they nail it. Choose to do the food and wine pairing. My least favorite of the 5 offerings was the salad and I loved it. The hummus - outstanding The chicken meatball - sooo good The roasted potatoes - killer But the burrata, goat cheese, Greek yogurt with strawberries - drop the mic. That concoction with the pita triangles was so amazing. We will be trying it ourselves whenever we have guests over. Oh and the wine. I liked all that I tasted. Our servers, Heidi and a trainee working alongside her, were both professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. We chose the Estate Wine Tasting, which was absolutely delicious, and paired it with a cheese plate that elevated the experience even further--highly recommended. Afterward, the staff encouraged us to explore the property, which is extensive and, for lack of a better word, dreamlike. We left feeling completely relaxed and impressed by the exceptional service, beautiful setting, and outstanding wine. We did the tasting and lunch pairing, and that lunch was one of the best meals I've had all year. Beyond delicious. The wines were also yummy, my friend and I preferred the whites. Beautiful winery! Delicious food! Great, friendly staff! We came for the view, but been coming back for the food and of course the view again! Not exactly a wine drinker myself, but you can't live on the Central Coast of California and not going to wineries. We are lucky enough to be only 10mins away from this gorgeous winery. The view is one of the best, if not the best, in the area. This place is also enormous! (73 acres!) Not only do they grow their own grapes here, a lot of the vegetables and flowers they use in the food also come from their own gardens! Their food menu also changes daily, which gives me even more reasons to keep coming back. Their wine club is a great option if you want to visit at least 2-3 times/year. They also have members only events for food/wine tasting, concert, etc...We don't even like wines that much but we had to sign up for their wine club, cuz we just can't resist the delicious food pairs with the beautiful view of the central coast. Also, having family members coming to visit often from out of town is another great reason to sign up, so we can bring them here to be amazed! read more

You would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful setting in Santa Maria than Presqu'ile beautifully appointed tasting room and patios. They have taken all the best parts of wine tasting, adding in coastal views, dog friendly sceneries, adding in some fantastic chard's and Pinot's. Thus building a winery experience that makes you feel so far from home yet still somehow.... So. Home. Don't skimp on the food pairing. Just don't. I'm warning you now. You'll be envious of your guests, as many were of us. There is an incredibly board of spreads and jams and all things fresh; pairing nicely with each and every wine. We loved the peacefulness of the estate. We were spread out, yet still in the mix. Our beagle June was loving the walking paths, and the shaded spots. It was truly a fantastic spot for well behaved dogs. We also were pleasantly surprised at the quality of guests that were more than willing to mingle and socialize - something a little more nuanced for us with several decades of wine tasting experience. We loved the social nature of it. Maybe it was just the vibe of the day but we were totally into that walk-about wine culture! We do wish they offered our dog a water bowl, something every other winery offers. And while we bring our own portable water container it would have been a nice offering. And while we never felt June was not accepted we also wasn't as loved on as other wineries. But that's ok. Not every winery or worker has the same affinity for dogs. Lucky for us we had several neighbors that gave her plenty of love and attention. We will most definitely be returning as the views and estate wines are worth the visit. A hilltop winery with sweeping ocean and vineyard views. We had a lot of wine here and the day could not have been any more perfect. Not familiar with their cool-climate wines so naturally we went for a tasting. Wine was great and since I'm not a wine aficionado it kept getting better with each sip. The food! Farm-to-table magic from their own garden, and local purveyors delivered to your table picnic style. I'll never forget the extra juicy tomatoes, and braised beef cheeks. As we stuffed ourselves with food and wine, and took in all the amazing views we just couldn't believe we were here and it was all real. Pro tip ~ by reservation only at this time.
