They were interested in cutting my puppy's hair ( yes, she has hair instead of fur) correctly. A first for me in SA! As it was her first grooming experience, I was a little nervous. But they all put me (and her) at ease. She came out looking beautiful! Just a trim, as I had requested! And her nails no longer cause me to bleed! I DEFINITELY will be coming back! I have finally found my groomer in San Antonio! And the treats! Almost forgot about that! I got her two "Peanut Butter Cups." They are peanut butter and yogurt. Two of her favorites! She always leaves this place with an adorable little bandana and smelling so fresh and clean. I made the mistake of taking Scout to Petsmart before we started coming here, and not only did we get stuck with different groomers, but they weren't able to clip her nails. I just feel that if I'm going to a groomers, they should be able to clip her nails... not to mention the perfume sprayed is overbearing. I should also note that we took Scout Petsmart at least three times to get a proper assessment and of the 2/3 times they were unable to trim her nails. I did some research and took Scout to Pampered Pooch and despite us moving on the other side of SA, we still make the far drive over because that's how much we love coming here. Kate is so, so wonderful and always excitedly greets Scout when she comes here. Her nails are always nicely grind, and she's clean, trimmed and perfect! Pampered Pooch will be our forever groomer while we live in SA!

This was our first time boarding our dog and we were pretty nervous and nervous for him because he…read morecan get very anxious. Upon pulling into the facility we noticed it was well gated and liked the privacy screens on the fence so the dogs in care wouldn't go bizerk when we pulled up causing a distraction to the whole place. The lobby smelled clean and had a faint homey cinnamon smell which was comforting (A main priority for us was the smell cause it really tells you a lot about the care of that makes sense) We explained that he didn't do well with other dogs in the past, has pollen allergies since we're still adjusting to San Antonio, and that he had some anxiety medication in case he needed it. Turns out he gets along with other dogs very well and made many friends! He also was able to play and tolerate outdoors much better, and he didn't need his meds the last few days of his stay. Huge improvement! We highly appreciate that they offered 24/7 webcams and believe me, we checked in VERY often. I loved that they sent us pictures and messages daily keeping in communication. We feel the care our pup received was excellent and we will definitely will bring him back anytime we need to board him. Staff is extremely nice and Ariel did a great job on his grooming! Thank you HOFFS HOUNDS!
