We are so absolutely happy with this establishment. My dog hates the groomer and always is super sad and stressed out when we bring him home. But not with Pets Fifth!!! He loves them! He is always so happy when we pick him up and he looks so handsome after his cut! The staff is also super friendly. I love the selection they have available to purchase as well. Super fun experience every time!

I am so very thankful for Pets Fifth Avenue!!My dog is very reactive and can come off as aggressive but she just has so much anxiety since we adopted her from the rescue. We haven't took her to the groomer yet this was her first experience at the groomer and they treated her with so much love and compassion. They worked with her for almost 2 hours I feel like so many other groomers wouldn't have even gave her a chance but they took their time to groom her. They washed her cut her nails and expressed her anal gland. She wasn't able to get her hair cut because she was too nervous which I'm glad that they took her feelings into consideration. Her nails look so nice and short!!I'm so very grateful that they worked with her and we are lifetime customers. Thank you so much!! Nami came home very happy and smelling so clean!! I brought my Pomeranian into pets fifth avenue for the first time and was immediately greeted by kind staff, a clean environment, endless pet clothes/accessories and more. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog here, he immediately was running around and went to the staff member happily he forgot I was even there. My dog received the cutest haircut ever! It doesn't compare to any places i've taken him in the past. He smelled so great and looked absolutely handsome. Both of my dogs -- my Jack Russell Terrier and my Doberman -- go to this salon, and I couldn't be happier with the results every single time. They are always groomed to absolute perfection. Their coats look flawless, their nails are perfectly trimmed, and they don't scratch at all afterward. After each visit, they smell amazing, their fur feels clean and soft, and shedding is noticeably reduced. You can truly see the quality of the work -- everything is done carefully and professionally. A special thank you to Maryam, the administrator. She is absolutely wonderful -- kind, responsive, and incredibly professional. She makes the whole process smooth and stress-free, answers all questions clearly, and genuinely cares about the clients' experience. It's rare to find someone who handles everything with such calm confidence and warmth. Highly recommend this place. Great service, great communication, and people who truly love what they do. I was looking for a last minute nail trim for my Yorkie. And Marianne is amazing. She quoted me a great price and said I could walk in anytime before 4:30. I called her at 4:10 and said I'd be there shortly, she let me know unfortunately the groomer had left for the day. I was bummed. But wow she called me back a few minutes later and told me she contacted the groomer, whom is also amazing, and she will return just to do my little munchkins nails. I went immediately to her and met them both. They both are amazing and sweet. The groomer trimmed the nails perfectly. I checked out the store and WOW such cute clothes too. I will be bringing my baby back for a full grooming and to pick up a few of the adorable outfits that she has. I highly recommend Pets Fifth Avenue. I can't say enough good things about this groomer. I took my animal shelter dog there for her first trim, worried because she is very nervous and can be a barker. She did so well, and looked so amazing when they finished. Our 2nd dog is 15 years old and very nervous, and we have been reluctant to get her groomed for the past 5 yearsm as she is so afraid to be left and groomed. But, again Muriel and the groomer did an awesome job, and our dog cane bouncing out the back like she was 7 years younger, so happy and looking so good. She has continued to behave like a younger dog, so I guess she needed the haircut. DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK & THANK YOU! read more

I took my 6 month old puppy to Pets Fifth Avenue for her first grooming. The salon had such a welcoming vibe. I felt completely at ease leaving her in their care. The staff member at the front was so loving with my puppy, and I could tell she was going to be treated with so much love and attention. My puppy was way overdue for her first grooming, I had a clear vision of what I wanted for her first haircut and Pets Fifth Avenue delivered it 100% and beyond. Getting my pet groomed at pets fifth Avenue was a breeze. The staff was very kind and approachable. They also worked well around my busy schedule. I am very particular with how I like my dog's haircut. I have been bringing my dog to this groomer for over a year now and I always specify that I'd like to ensure that his anal glands are being expressed because there always seems to be an issue. This last visit, I stressed that I'm mainly taking him in because I feel like his glands are getting very full. The receptionist reassured me that they will be expressed. Fast forward to today, 8 days after the grooming visit, I had to take my dog into an emergency vet visit and his vet said that his anal glands were so full one would assume they hadn't been expressed in months. Finally found the best spot to bring my dog too. I stumbled across this page on Instagram and the name of the business sold me! The prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. The place is cute and clean. You can tell that the business truly cares about their customers satisfaction. My favorite part is that they have a designated backdrop for the dogs after their service to take after photos. I've taken my dog to so many grooming places around Glendale and Burbank and other ones in the past, cannot groom a husky... Huskies and other dog breeds who experience shedding are complicated and the only solution is to de-shed them during that season. They have a great de-shedding service and I highly recommend it! I really wish I had gotten some good before pictures so you could see what he looks like before the Pets Fifth Avenue crew got a hold of him. I was trying to get a quick appointment because I wanted to have him done up as a surprise. They got back to me almost immediately with a time less than 2 hours away. They did a fantastic job. Amazing! Oso has been going to another groomer in the area for almost a year and he has never managed to give him the haircut I asked for. At Pets Fifth, they did exactly what I asked for! They left him beautifully groomed. Even trimmed his nails perfectly, ears, and butt area. The woman in the front is super friendly and service was fast! An hour and 30 minutes compared to three hours. They were also able to give me an appointment the same day. This is our go to groomer going forward. Sure, it's a little on the pricier side, but you get what you paid for; perfection! read more

Took my small poodle mix for a full service - he came back with a few nicks on his belly area and the cut was much shorter than we asked for. Also, not sure if they got something in his eyes, but he came back scratching at his eyes and keeps squinting (even through day 2). When we picked him up there was no mention of anything unusual (nicks, or incidents) so I'm not positive what happened, unfortunately, dogs can't speak so we'll never know. read more

I myself don't have a pet, but if did I would defiantly take them to Pets Fifth Avenue in Glendale. I went there with my friend who takes her dog there and I have to say the way they greet the owner makes you want to get groomed yourself lol. The puppies there are so excited and I could see why. Since my friend doesn't have yelp she asked me to write a review for her as a way to show her appreciation for these amazing human. She is super satisfied with the way they care for her baby, her world revolves around her baby and she don't trust just anyone with her baby. This place is just to welcoming and the job they do this babies come out loony wooofing cute read more

Since I don't have time to take care of my two dogs, I take this place often. From here they come very clean and smelling good. What made me most happy and interested was the fact that there is a corner beautifully designed where you can paint your dog in a beautiful style. Amazing place! I know that my dog is very difficult to deal with but the groomer is very talented and took good care of my dog ,my dog's hair gets tangled very easily, and amazing moment is she doesnt feel stressed after grooming unlike other places thats very important to me ! Brought my pet in for a quick bath and nail trim. The receptionist was able to get me scheduled in even though I called last minute. The salon smelled great inside. This review is mainly for the petsitting & dog walking because we decided that was the best service they provided us. Just a quick note on grooming -- They only lost one star because the grooming wasn't entirely up to our standards. After our grooming visit, our dog experienced some temporary skin irritation on her back - possibly from dryer burns, hard brushing or just an allergic reaction to a shampoo used. Also, her hindquarters were clipped awkwardly, although that one may have been my fault for being unspecific in my request. Our dog and cat seemed like they were well taken care of on all the occasions we left them in this company's care. It was clear that our dog loved them. Our cat is sort of a snob, so who knows what he's thinking, but he did seem as content as usual when we got home. Tammy was our main sitter/walker there and our normally shy dog adored her & her little dog. Sometimes we'd run into them in the neighborhood and Star would get super excited to say hello. That says a lot! Also, the company was great about communication, before-during-after, provided easy billing, set up easy key exchanges and they were always pleasant & gracious. It was also nice that our home was always clean when we got home and everything was in its proper place. We recommend their petsitting & dogwalking services to others in Glendale. And we wish we didn't live so far away now so we could keep using them!

I've been taking my dog for the last 4 years. They have made mistakes along the way. Linda the…read moregroomer has always done a great job on Lucy. I trusted her to do a great job. I've also had other groomers take care of Lucy too. However, they didn't do such a good job as Linda. The hair cut was uneven and her hair wasn't completely dry. Until one day, I questioned where was Lucy matted because shaved her using #2 clipper. Her hair was completely gone. I wanted to cry, on how she looked. After asking where was she matted, Linda's response was, if you don't believe me, you are welcome to take Lucy to another groomer. I apologize to her and said, I'm not questioning your work, I was just confused because I combed Lucy out the night before. I was shocked on her response after I sold a box of candies for her daughter. After a month I brought Lucy to get groomed, Linda was out on medical leave and Lucy was taken care of by another groomer. That is where Lucy was not completely dry. I appreciate the service but not to happy. Now it was tying for Lucy to get a hair cut and groom and I called to set up an appointment for Lucy and found out that Linda did not want to groom Lucy anymore. The owner apologized and said the groomer had the right to decide which dog she would take care of. They couldn't give me a reason why she decided not to groom Lucy anymore. After 4 years, as prices increased each year and then monthly, I was still willing to take Lucy there but I have to say the service by Linda was disappointing to hear that she refused to groom Lucy moving forward. Not sure what happened but it would have been nice to know why. I'm assuming she took my questioning to a personal issue. With all this said, she can do a great job but also can refuse you at anytime without a reason. I am happy to say I found another groomer who did a great job and with care. I pay a little more than what Linda charged me but I would have continue to take Lucy to Linda even if she increases her price. However I rated the place as a 3 star based off the overall rating of cleanness, timely, friendliness and honesty.
