I am late writing, but brought my girl here and got a executive or highest level private "home", a lot of walks and love, was referred from my vet who is the only one she has been in before. This was May 30-June 5, I hate leaving a small 13 yr old maltipoo in a cage for a week, but vacation on a plane and had no choice. The team here all love on her , found food she would eat- tried multiple things-, cleaned her toys- yes- some beanie babies and balls hadn't been cleaned since she was born ( lol) and I thought she would freak- but so glad they did!!!! They were so nasty I'm sure they had to use gloves to throw her her toys. I love it when pet car givers are allowed a bit of time to spend with each pet and make them as comfortable as possible. Great service, I negotiate based on my needs so no qualms on value. She came home clean, cut, all stuff cleaned, didn't pee on me or bite me for leaving her- so we will be back !!! We took our dog here for over 6 years. On our most recent visit, we received a call from this business to say he was being aggressive and we needed to pick him up immediately. We have never received a call saying he has been aggressive here or at any other facilities. Because we were out of town, they said they would keep him but they wouldn't touch him or have contact with him and shoved a leather glove in his face. It's obvious that some foul play happened at this facility to make our dog react the way he did considering he's never had problems before. I would not recommend this facility. read more

We have two beautiful dogs one rescue and the is other a breeder "runt". the dogs were great until we were hanging out at a park and an off leash Rottweiler charged us. Our dogs reacted and in the chaos they turned on each other. They were never the same since and had been relegated to either being muzzled every moment they were together or constantly separated. Even our vet said there was no hope, so we set up a system of baby gates and muzzles so we wouldn't have to choose between our puppies or worry about their safety. When we moved to GA I looked up local trainers hoping we could find a way to at least get the dogs better trained. Smith Farms/Our House not only agreed to train our dogs they gave us hope that something better was possible. They spent time building a relationship with our dogs and learning what behaviors were causing the underlying problem. After 3 weeks not only do we have well trained dogs but we are completely muzzle free! I can walk my dogs together side by side, I can ring the doorbell or pass strangers on the street. I can even put my dogs in a " lay down" position, drop the leashes and walk away from them!! Even better our trainer, Andy, didn't just train our dogs he worked with us and gave us the tools to continue training our dogs and building our relationship with them. Our dog is dead from injuries sustained while in these people's "care" don't bring your pets here. They held our other dog hostage when we refused to pay them because of the condition we found him in. Cuts, extensive bruising and chunks of flesh missing from his face and leg. He was wet, and smelled horrible when we got him and the vet had to carry him to the car. He was just laying there crying and howling in pain, unable to move his body. He was an older dog but was no where near this condition when he was left in their "care". He had the ability to walk, was freshly washed and injury free when we dropped him off. Also both dogs were extremely thirsty. And the food and blankets we sent them with were never returned to us. To top it all off, there were clear instructions on when and how he should receive his medication and these people either can't read or just did not care as it was administered incorrectly (vet can attest to this). There has been little to no communication or explanation of these events. They took our dogs life and stole our money. Our family is heartbroken. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOGS HERE ESPECIALLY IF THEY REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE! read more

I brought my dog (who is older) here to stay for a week while I was away on vacation. We gave extremely straightforward directions on what type of medication to give him and the correct time to doThey completely disregarded these simple directions giving him his medication that makes him sleepy in the morning instead of at night. This made him groggy and tired during the day. Also, sometime during his stay he obtained wounds like I've never seen before. Paws bloody, bruises all over his body, and gash on his mouth. I will never be trusting these people with my dogs ever again. Update: We had to take my dog to the emergency vet in the middle of the night where he succumbed to his injuries. The vets said he was left in the sun and had a heat stroke and was probably trying to get up for hours. Wouldn't recommend taking anything you love into this facility because they might not come back alive and well. They're sending their minions to this post trying to say that I'm lying about my horrendous experience here. What would I gain lying about something like this? We picked our dog up this way. Period. Who else is there to blame? Just because you didn't have a negative experience with this business does not erase what happened to our innocent dog at the hands of these people. Trying to silence me just so your rating won't go down will not work. I'm voicing my experience which is exactly the point of this app. It's not slander because it's true. If I could give less than one star I would. These people shouldn't be responsible for a hang nail on my pinky toe. My dog came out of there with a uti and had trouble pooping for days from holding both. They do not treat your dog with respect, just something to make $$. If you love your pet as you should, find a house sitter or a friend you trust, NOT THESE PEOPLE! read more

Pets Inn Suites has been wonderful for my pups. 2 out of 3 of them can be pretty anxious, but my pups always seem to settle in nicely and the staff is always so accommodating when I call to check in. I know my dogs are a handful, but they never seem to mind the extra work needed to make them feel comfortable and loved. The suites are wonderful since they have tvs and they get to go outside for potty breaks. Its as close to home as they can get. I have had to board my senior cat here as well, and they make sure to give her extra love and haven't had any issues with medicating her or feeding her special diet. Love this place, and so do my pets which is the most important!! read more

Wonderful place to leave your pets! We had some family evacuate North Carolina due to Hurricane Florence, and they have a cat who wasn't going to get along with our two cats. This place was offering a 1/2 off discount for evacuees, which is impressive seeing as you expect some places to take advantage and price gouge. The facility is almost like a spa, with stacked stone and water features in the hallway. The rooms are big, and many of them have windows so your pet can get some sun. Perfect for kitties who enjoy warm naps. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that need to board their pets. read more

This is what I get for procrastinating. I started calling boarding kennels two weeks before Thanksgiving, when I planned to fly up to Detroit with my GF for the holidays. Of course all the reasonable places were booked already, leaving the subset of kennels which call themselves "Pet Hotels", which seems to be a growth industry in this country since we don't make anything anymore. They weren't kidding about the hotel part. $35/day for the "Suite", which included a stylish cast iron or wooden sleigh bed, and a TV!!!! Tuned to Animal Planet, I'm assuming. Which is funny because my dog doesn't watch TV (but he does like Eagle 107 radio, and he doesn't get that from me). You and your obviously beloved pet "check in" to the facility at a lobby, which looks for all the world like your local Hampton Inn. After "check in", you proceed through a marble tiled hall with Italian fountains on the wall and Enya on the musak (tm) to the suites. The "suites" are actually about 9' x 6', and have a stylish iron gate so your pooch can look at his cell mates across the block (you can't tell this from the website). The suite rate includes 4 potty breaks a day (up to a 15 min walk if your dog is a "no-po", in kennel speak). I didn't exactly know how to rate this place. The price was very high, but my dog didn't come back traumatized or full of fleas like at other kennels, and they did give me a first time customer discount. So four stars it is. This is a perfectly fine kennel. It is a steep price, around $40 a day plus we pay extra to have a special petting/walking time for our dog. We've paid crazy high prices like this before at other places though, so that is not my problem with Pets Inn Suites. They are CLOSED nine holiday days a year. Let me repeat that, they CLOSE and do not allow you to pick up you pet during the exact time you will very likely use their service, sometimes two days in a row. Not only do they close completely and deny you access to your beloved pet, you are forced to pay for a minimum number of days on the busiest holidays. Going away for two nights for Spring Break, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, or Christmas? Too bad, you'll pay out the nose for four days ... and they'll keep your pet to boot until they get good and ready to come back from their own holiday. Why would they have a business that provides a service for holidays when they don't want to work holidays? Unfortunately we made this reservation too late to make adjustments this time, but we won't use this service again. It doesn't just inconvenience me (and make me sad ... I miss my dog!) it makes me question their judgment in general if they think a service business can, you know, not provide the service they are selling. read more

So my dog (Max) has been having problems walking and things like that (he was old) but the vet said he was okay and that it was just that he was old. We were going to Disney World in that time period too, so we sent him here while we were gone. Keep in mind, he had trouble walking and it might be a struggle takin care of him for a week, but we trusted this place to take care of him. They did not. Remember how the vet said he was fine? Well he came back to us with one leg fully cut deep, lip bleeding and basically half dead. He couldn't go anywhere without screaming and crying. How could this happen you ask? Well what we think is that this company is all about the money and nothing else, they didn't do anything to help him at all. Max was hard for them to take care of, not like other pets that were sent there, so they injured him and faked that he had an accident. He was fine before, but they're telling us that the deep cut in his leg and his lip bleeding was because he fell, even though he has fallen many times before. So because they had to work a tiny bit, they decide to kill our dog. I don't know any type of person who would do that and it makes me sick. No one should ever take their pets here in any circumstance. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while but never got to it. Something just led me to think of it today. If you are a cat owner (of strictly indoor cats) and are looking for a place to board them, DO NOT use them, even as a last resort. You will live to regret it and let me tell you why. They absolutely require you to get your cat vaccinated against Feline Leukemia. If you are a learned enough cat owner/lover, you will know that it is not recommended for indoor cats. It is only for cats who will come into contact with outdoor cats and may get infected through scratches or bites. The thing about Feline Leukemia vaccines is that once administered, your cat will ALWAYS test positive for it. And that is a VERY BAD thing. Because, if your cat, heaven forbid, happens to escape from your house, gets lost on the streets, and gets picked up by animal control, there is no ID for your cat and if tested positive for Feline Leukemia (s/he can be negative but the vaccine will show up as a positive test) s/he WILL BE PUT DOWN. No questions asked. I am speaking from personal experience and it haunts me every time I think for making that mistake getting my cat vaccinated for Feline Leukemia so I could board him (it was last minute to the T) with that wretched place. Plus, their rates are expensive, and they board cats with small dogs. This is another concern for cat owners, especially if your cat has NEVER been around dogs. Pet Inn Suites assured us that the small dogs rarely bark, but it is still going to be VERY STRESSFUL for cats to be around dogs if they have never been around them. I also want to add that the amount of cat litter they put in the litter box is EXTREMELY dismal. Cat owners all know that cat litter needs to be at least 3 inches in depth for a cat to be satisfied in using a litter box and it was what? 0.1 inches? The litter box was BARELY DUSTED with cat litter and it didn't even cover the entire surface of the litter box. Thankfully I brought my own cat food. I don't know what crap they'll feed him. And one last thing I want to add. This was the last straw that convinced me that I WILL NEVER step foot into that place EVER AGAIN. They are not very sympathetic people. They will not open their doors for ONE EXTRA MINUTE when you're just a tad late to pick up your pet because you were stuck in traffic. They are in Braselton which is over an hour's drive from Atlanta. I'm already driving for an hour to come pick my cat up, and you're telling me, no I don't care if you've been on the road for that long, we can't open for a minute longer because we don't care. So I had to waste more gas and time the next morning to go pick up my pet. The only up-side was that they did not charge me for that extra overnight stay. And rightfully so. My cat deserves better. Cat owners, avoid this place like the plague. read more

Had my dog bathed. The nail trim and ear cleaning was included. They charged me $50.00!!!!!! Petsmart, Petco, and Best friend Animal Hospital charges anywhere from $23-$30 for the same service. My dog wasn't any cleaner than he was after getting him from other groomers. This place is a rip off and I will never go back!!!! read more

Pets Inn Suites is the best boarding facility I have ever used - and over the years, through several moves, I have used many! The place is always spotless! The staff is wonderful! Courtney, Georgia and Megan (the 3 ladies I have dealt with on check-in, check-out and on the phone) are always very upbeat, kind, compassionate and welcoming and always take time to make sure my dogs feel comfortable. The dog I have now is a bit overwhelmed at first if other dogs are barking when she enters the suite area, but the ladies always talk to her calmly and at her level to help her remain calm. Whenever I pick my pet up, she is always clean and happy. She loves Pets Inn Suites as much as I do. I have always boarded my pets in the air conditioned suites, not the indoor/outdoor runs, so I can't comment personally on those. However, a friend of mine uses them every time she boards her dogs, and says they're great, too! read more
