It's a PetSmart. As a rule, the merchandise is all the same. However, in the grooming salon, I think it's like with any groomer - you don't know what you're going to get until you get your dog back the first time. We've been there and had some less than ideal grooming results before. But recently, our Rottweiler has been seeing Kimberly for his routine bathing - and the results have been wonderful! While it's true that it's hard to mess up a Rottweiler, it can also be hard to make bathing and drying something fun for them. My dog really enjoys going to be made handsome. Kimberly now recognizes us when we're in the store just browsing and my dog recognizes her, too. They've become friends - and if she ever leaves the store, you can be sure I'll be following if I'm able! read more

I have been a long time petsmart customer for over 15 years. I will never use them again, particularly at this location. Genevieve is the rudest, unkind person I have ever run into or asked for assistance from. She is rude, had a terrible attitude and simply doesn't care how she treats customers. So I used to love this location. The groomers were great, and they had Stacy as their trainer. Well, Stacy and the groomers that I liked left because of the pandemic, and so there's a whole new cast of characters. (A couple of the associates are still the same, but most of those are new too) the couple of times I've had my golden groomed here it's been ok, but not the same service I was used to. I went in tonight with my other dog to pick out a sweater. She is both people and dog reactive, so I take her in a muzzle and caution vest to be on the safe side, but given what we needed to buy I did need her with me to make sure I got the right size. After entering the store we were stopped by who I assume is the new trainer, who immediately launched into baby talking to my dog about how she just wanted the muzzle off and how it must be terrible etc. Whatever. I can deal with some ignorance about muzzles and their uses but what upset me the most was the way he started petting her. He was very aggressive about it, firm strokes that pushed her back down. She's also a small dog, and he was towering over her. She was obviously upset with this attention, her tail was tucked, her ears were back, and she was whale eyeing at him majorly. Not once did he stop and recognize the body language she was displaying. As someone who is certified in dog training, I would not trust this man as a trainer. He completely disregarded my dogs comfort, and we weren't even there for a class! I didn't even initiated contact with him, he took it upon himself to approach and disrespect my dogs personal space. Honestly I may even avoid this location all together now because of this incident. All I can imagine is what if someone else isn't as responsible with their dog, or is unaware of how their dog may react, and he pulls this and gets bit. Horrifying. read more

Kandi has been grooming our 2 Yorkies after having bad experiences at other groomers in the area. She is the BEST groomer I've worked with since having our Yorkies. Kandi goes above and beyond her job and does an exceptional service every time! I would have given 5 stars, however sadly Kandi is leaving Petsmart. It's going to be a huge loss for us... We bonded with one terrific person who loved what she did and it showed in the love she put forth in her trade! Worst Groomer and lack of Consideration for their customers! I have gone to this one before and they have all of the information on my dog in the computer but for some reason they waited until we got to the store to drop our dog off to tell us they could not groom her because of her seizures. I was told they are too busy to check every customers account since they made a new policy about seizures. But they had the time to look up my number to call and remind me about the appt, why not have discussed this with me at this time? NEVER GO HERE EVEN Amanda the store manager is RUDE! read more

I had a 4:20 PM appointment at the vet here today. What an awful experience! Kim (or Kimber) was so rude and it was obvious that we were a inconvenience to her day. When confirming we had the right location, she got so frustrated that she threw her pen down and stormed into another room. It was a strange and unnerving time. At 4:45 we had not been seen... I asked Kim if they were going to see us and she responded, "I wasn't sure if you wanted to be seen." We promptly picked up our things and left. I've had my dog for about a year and this Petsmart is right by my house so of course I went there immediately. This place is great! I now bring my dog their for grooming and they are so nice to him and he is so soft and nice smelling. I just had to say that I'm glad it's right there because I'll never shop for my dog anywhere else. And I am NOT an animal lover (my kid talked me into getting Chester). read more

Typical PetSmart store in terms of items available. Employees are usually available if needed for something. Never had an issue here.

If I could go negative stars I would. The laziness of the grooming department resulted in a $50 Buzz cut on my dog. She needed a brushing and a trim and what I got was abhorrent. Don't over promise the volume of services if you provide shit results. To make it worse, the cut isn't consistent and there are patches of uneven fur scattered all over. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS WITH FUR TO THESE AMATEURS. With dull trimmers the kindergarteners in my neighborhood could do better. read more

This store sold us fish Ich! We bought three Black Neon Tetra's and a week later those fist starting growing the white fungus associated with Ich. Despite buying medicine immediately out whole tank in now contaminated. One of my fish I've had for 6 months has died and I'm just praying none of the others do. When we approached this store about this, they claimed to have nothing to do with it, even though it was THEIR fish that first show the signs of the fungus. I will never buy fish from Petsmart again! read more

This PetSmart location is just five minutes from me and I have taken my dog (a boxer, my baby), there to the Banfield clinic for the last couple of years and, a couple times to the groomer. It has been at least six months since I have visited the groomer at this PetSmart location and forgot how much my dog likes going there and maybe why? We were a walk in this morning, simply to get his nails done. "Joel" was working the counter and because it had been awhile since our last visit, he had to update our records, step out and over to Banfield counter to get our updated records...mean while a few other customers walked in---Joel did not blink an eye, smiled and greeted everyone like they were his best customer! Kuddo's for his customer service! It was obvious he loves what he does. Then there was the groomer "Missy", who walked in and greeted my dog as if he was a rock star, not knowing he would be one of her customers. Her welcoming demeanor immediately put my dog at ease and he couldn't wait for more of her happy attention. I usually have the vet trim my dogs nails; never again. Missy made such a connection and impression on my dog and the trimming (and sanding?) she did was the best he has had done in the five years I have had him! She now has a permanent and loyal client. Lastly, both Joel and Missy had just welcoming customer service, worked so well together (at a stressful time when everyone walked in at once), and, welcomed, treated the dogs like their own personal pets! I was there today with my 3 year old daughter and a very nice woman named Siri let my daughter pet the chinchilla and then let us go play with the cats. I'm not sure how often that happens but it made my little girls day. Thank you Siri! read more

Apparently if you are going to be late in picking up your dog from the express grooming service, even the reason of your husband dying is not good enough. My mom was late in picking up our dog Sophie today the 21 of October. She apologized TWICE for being late, and explained the reason, being that she was talking with the chaplain and nurse about my dad's care in these last days and understandably lost track of time. She explained this to the very persistent unprofessional salon manager who had ZERO sympathy and talked over and talked down to her the importance of being there on time to pick up Sophie. The complete lack of professionalism and empathy is appalling and we will NEVER BE BACK. I will make it my personal mission to inform everyone to STAY AWAY from this heartless dog salon. They couldn't even muster up a smidge of sympathy for my stressed mother at this time. Sometimes there are good reasons for being late and there was no reason for the complete disregard of my mother's and family's situation. This place doesn't even deserve one star. read more

I am a frequent visitor to this PetSmart. I recently bought a water dish for the two bulldogs that I have. One of those where you fill up a jug, tip it upside down and it lets the water flow into the dish as needed. The bullies can get quite messy and this dish went into the dishwasher (on the tag it said "dishwasher safe"). Well, needless to say, the dish frizzled up and melted to a deformed state where I couldn't use it any longer. I set it aside to throw it out. I was in there buying more dog food and I encountered an awesome employee, named Joe. He seemed like one of the managers even. While he was giving me the rundown on why the dog food was different than normal I decided to ask him about the water dish. I explained the situation and that there was no way I kept the receipt and he was very excited to let me know that I would be taken care of! 3 days later I brought the deformed water dish back to PetSmart without the receipt and they gladly took it back and exchanged it for a new one. I was blown away by this, but very glad I shop here and will continue to be a loyal customer as long as I continue to get treated like this! read more

The Banfield at this location is terrible!! The employees are always rude, argue with customers and always seem stressed. I hate bringing my pet here and will never do it again. Today, I stopped a employee arguing with a older lady, and she argued with me then. I had a appointment for them to see my cat and told her to cancel it. They ended up calling me at home and left me a voicemail that my cat would be dead in less than a year (She's only 7 and that girl had never seen her yet), and that it would be useless to bring her in, spend any money on her and even sign up with their wellness program where you pay a monthly rate over a year. They tried to overcharge me $500 in unneeded tests a week ago, and when I went in to a vet they said I never needed to get and pay for all those tests and that I only needed a prescription that I got that cost me a few bucks!! Unbelievable-they are the worst experience I have ever had and the gall they have to call and say that....discusting. read more
