Don't be misled! If you buy 3 toys for $20/, and buy 3 other toys for $3/each, you will pay all the $20s and get that $3 free

Worst customer service consistently and shadiest computer system for cheating your money/misleading advertisement ! If items are on sale, they do not post the sale signs on the shelves properly, so you will not know sometimes; I asked the cashier how the price works when I was checking out (isn't it nice to know how much you are getting charged before you swipe?) the young lady kept arguing all the signs are up and I should have known; when I said do you want to take a walk with me to see it yourself when a whole section doesn't have any sign? She changed her statement right away, saying the store was about to close so they tear down all the sale labels because "we want to go home right after work just as much as you do" in an irritated tone. Also, I bought three treats at $19.99 each (advertised as buy 2 get 1 free, equal or less value), as well as three other treats at $3.99 each, same deal. I end up paying $19.99 for all three more expensive treats and got the one $3.99 for free instead of the $19.99 for free. If you are not checking your receipt, this will easily fool you. I bought three toys for about $20 each another time (also advertised as buy 2 get 1 free), and when I was at the the register, the cashier asked me if I want to donate $5 plush toy for Children's hospital. I said yes. Guess what? I end up paying full price for all the three toys I bought and got that $5 plush donation toy for free, which overcharged me $15. You are ruining my trust and good heart for charity PetSmart!!! Don't even get me started with how unhelpful and rude the cashiers are! It is a culture in this store to not have knowledge about their job, don't care to explain to customers how prices work, and just plainly don't care!!! Keep you eyes wide open for a sign like this in the future!!! Don't let it mislead you!

We went to the checkout lane to ask for help and Maren immediately called for someone to cover her cash register so she could help us (she has a cat with a similar issue).

I am so glad that I put my two year old Aussie in training with BlackPaw. Prior to his board and…read moretrain he started having reactions to dogs, people, my horse...after training he is so much better adjusted and I have tools to help in any situation. Before training, walking my pup was stressful. He was pulling on me so badly that it made walks stressful. Now, his heel and sit stay make walks so enjoyable! Thank you for helping Oslo and I. Life is just a little more enjoyable now after his board and train!

So, we just stopped taking her. And, after a very bad reaction to a dog on our walk, where she redirected on me, I would get scared any time we saw a dog when we were out walking and did my best to just avoid dogs altogether. We finally decided we couldn't fix Stella on our own and we decided to take her to Black Paw Dog Training. The training we ALL received has changed our lives! Since her graduation, we have enjoyed Saturday pack walks with other graduates and Stella has done great, walking side by side with other dogs, passing dogs out on the trail and staying in a perfect heel. I never thought it could be possible. She plays ball in a neighborhood park and has perfect recall. And our walks and ball playing in the neighborhood are totally different. She can pass dogs on the trail and just walk on by without losing her mind. And taking her with us to stores is now a fun outing. No more whining. No more pulling. Just a well-behaved pup. Bernadette and Cecilia have opened up a whole new world for us that we never thought was possible. We cannot thank Black Paw Dog Training or recommend them highly enough.

She was a rehome situation and had been trained to use a liter box in her crate. Meghan from Training Wheels helped me train Lemon to go outside and to LOVE her crate as a safe place and not soil it. Additionally, she helped me train Lemon to be totally focused on me, even with distractions. She sits when asked, she looks to me for approval and consent, and comes when called, no matter what. She is the goodest girl now - not that she wasn't before - she is just so much better now. All of this training was done with a lot of knowledge and a lot of love from Training Wheels. I also use Training Wheels for boarding Lemon. She gets so much positive attention and interaction. I was a bit hesitant at first because there are a lot of big dogs, but the times that I have boarded her, there have been dogs her size to play with and the bigger dogs play in a different area. For sleeping, she gets her own area (with door) with plenty of space for her bed and toys and then an area for going potty, should she need to in the night (Italian Greyhounds have hamster bladders, haha). The building where she sleeps and takes naps is temperature controlled and she is surrounded by other dogs in their areas, so is never alone. There are multiple outside play areas - and they designate which areas are for which size dog, and the dogs are always supervised. Training Wheels staff are always with the dogs and interacting with the dogs. They send pics of my happy dog playing outside and running and having just the best time. I feel that my tiny dog Lemon is very safe and happy there. I can't recommend Training Wheels enough for both training and boarding. Lemon is SO well taken care of and loved.

Training Wheels has slowly introduced him to being comfortable and having fun in a small group of dogs. Their skilled trainers have been amazing at showing him all of the positive praise while he is learning. Yesterday I was able to take Oscar (with little sis Olive in tow!) to the dog park for the first time and he had a blast. Training Wheels gave both Oscar and I the confidence to try without fear knowing we had the tools to make it fun and how to realize if it was not. Yay for Oscar and yay for the team at Training Wheels!

My kids "Rosie and Snoopy" were still in training mode when we got home. I expected them to be a little out of control, instead, they listened to my commands and were engaged. I believe another two weeks at this program is warranted. Thankyou CDA. Rosie, Snoopy and I appreciate your knowledge of dog behaviors, what is really important in a dog's life and most of all, not to humanize your dog. It all makes sense to me now. The staff, the trainers are all great!!!

I had my…read morefirst issue here over the weekend and was able to see firsthand how little they value customers and care about the dogs. My dog was severely injured and almost lost her eye due to negligence on their end. After speaking with the animal hospital I was advised that MANY dogs come to the hospital with a variety of injuries and that CO Dog Academy is not transparent when injuries occur. The Kennel is known as having a "sketchy" reputation and the fact they don't have cameras is a huge red flag. Pat the owner was incredibly combative with me when I asked him to pay for the vet bill. He offered $500 and I asked how he came up with that amount when the cost of treatment was triple that amount. He said I had no proof they were responsible. What I believe happened is that the old rusty door that leads to the outside kennel fell and trapped my dog by her neck (they found grease all over her). As a result, eye proptosis occurred (very painful injury where the eye pops out) I'm so disappointed with how CO Dog Academy handled this matter. I'll Post pics on yelp. Please do not risk taking your dog here.
