PetSmart is a chain retail store that sells products for cats, dogs, fish, birds, reptiles, and other pets. Products include foods, medications, accessories, pet furniture, etcetera. Furthermore, this PetSmart offers services such as adoptions, a veterinarian, dog-training, and dog and cat grooming. I shopped in the store to purchase products for my cat. The store had her favorite foods, treats, and litter in stock. The prices, however, were higher than what Chewy charges, even after discounts from PetSmart's Treats rewards program. The selection of toys was decent but not quite what she prefers. I picked out a food complement and a bag of catnip/silvervine/valerian. The prices were somewhat high, but my cat likes these products. The cashier did their job properly. read more

I am a busy person as many of us are. I made an appointment to have my dogs nails done, and had to leave work on time to pick up my dog drive 25 minutes to get to your shop and due to my honesty ( informing that my dog did have a recent vaccination) was declined services. Told by a young employee, who was more concerned about getting my dogs updated Rabies info, they would not be doing her nails. My time and effort to be there as scheduled then to be dismissed. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I will never frequent your shop again ever! Only putting one star as you have to add a star to post the review. Again unacceptable! read more

Horrible experience....will never go the grooming again. Called on Feb 15 to change an appt that was scheduled on Feb 17 to later in the day, so the appt was for 12pm on Feb 17. I showed up on time. After being ignored (the vet staff won't talk to grooming staff) someone finally helps and says the appt was two days ago on Feb 15 at noon. Interesting because when I called on Feb to change my upcoming appt it was 12:15pm. How could an appt be changed to a time before I called.... customer service skills are lacking will find a place that cares read more

Pictures with Sant SCAM!!! I had my son bring his dog from out of town to get a picture with Santa and our new family puppy! Then I proceeded to spend $200 in grift for the dogs. My daughter and her boyfriend spent another $150 in gifts and they NEVER EVEN GAVE US OUR PICTURE!!! Worst most incompetent people ever!!!! I'm never spending another dime at this rotten store! Everything is overpriced anyways. You can get just about everything on Amazon for half the price!!!! THEY ATE THE WORST!!!! read more

I have taken my maine coon cat twice to be groomed here! The woman who does the grooming is truly amazing at what she does. Very friendly!

Was told two years ago I needed to put my Labrador on a medicine treadmill and if I didn't he would die. I tried explaining it was the food, every time he ate a certain brand of food he would bleed from stool. When I put him on boiled ground meat and green beans he improved. Doctor wouldn't hear of it, said her test showed a bad spleen and various other things. We stopped going, changed his food, and here we are 2 years later a happy healthy puppy. Stay away from this pet smart. They will put you in the visitation/test/medication treadmill. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. They dont even care if their systems is broke. Thats the phone thats the online, The store or the Banfield if its broke who cares is the attitude. They are there to produce not serv. Quality is not on the agenda. I can not get a hold or leave a message on any of the broken phone lines. I cant log in on the website to create appoint for grooming but they says its not their problem and say drive the 7 miles to make the appoint ment. and the phone says it number 3 to leave message but it dont work. Got my cat Ani groomed here today! He loved it and they did a great job. Also reasonably priced. I will definitely be back for the grooming.

Ordered coat for 30lb.dog (Jack russell/beagle mix) even though dog is medium I ordered a XLarge as product reviews showed item runs small. The coat would fit a small chihuahua maybe-it was ridiculously small. Since I had an appointment in Cranberry I thought I would return to store rather than mail back to Petsmart. Store would not issue a credit to my Visa only issue store credit. I explained that I don't usually shop anywhere that has a Petsmart and did not need any pet supplies at this time (nor was I willing to purchase anything that could possibly not fit.) Was told by clerk that there was nothing else she could do for me. I ended up using credit for flea medicine that cost $25 MORE at Petsmart than Walmart sells same flea medicine for. Never shop at Petsmart again! read more

Second horrible grooming experience at this Petsmart. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, which is why I came back. I will not be returning this time. I made a grooming appointment for my dog on Christmas Eve (the only time available when I called a few days prior). I dropped him off after standing at the desk with no acknowledgment for 5 minutes while 3 girls in the back looked at me and continued to ignore me for that time. I was told it would be no longer than 3 hours and informed them my grandmother would be picking him up as I was going to work. After 4 hours we heard nothing, they had told me they were busy that day, so I didn't mind. They told me it would be another 30 minutes when I called. Another hours goes by and no call so my grandmother went to the store. She stood at the desk for ten minutes with no acknowledgment while the employees had a Christmas party of some sort behind the glass. I understand it was a holiday but I had fun at work too while still managing to do my job properly. Later that evening I went to get my dog from my grandmother and saw that his front legs hadn't been shaved (I get his whole body shaved). So, my dog was there for over 5 hours and wasn't even finished. Additionally, he had many uneven and choppy spots. He looked horrible. And I'm not convinced he was even bathed throughly. Also, they did not send him home with the typical brochure that details his visit. I called the day after Christmas and was able to take him in and have his front legs shaved as well while the groomer played dumb about it. Why would I want his rear legs shaved and not his front? I received no sincere apologies from the manager on the phone or the groomer. Horrible customer service. read more

Staff is very friendly and helpful, if you need help at an exhibit and don't see an associate go to the register and ask for them to page someone then wait back at the exhibit for assistance. Store is clean and the grooming salon staff is knowledgeable and helpful as well. Some days the store is very popular so you may have to be patient. They move through lines fairly quickly. read more

If you're looking for training classes, look no more.... Just take one of Samantha's classes! We've been attending training classes at Petsmart Cranberry location for two terms now. Our trainer, Samantha ("Sam") is fantastic! Our puppy has learned so much! Her methods are effective and Sam is also personable with everyone. Oh and we're also lucky to have the "Area Trainer" as our teacher. If you're looking for a doggie school, I highly recommend taking one of Sam's classes at this location. Yeah this is a big store with lots of pet food, toys, etc. There's a groomer, a Vet, lots of fish for sale, snakes, rodents, birds....also, cats. Don't ask to see the cats (which are sealed in a locked room) unless "you're serious about adopting a cat" as we were told today. I wonder who thinks that not touching a cat is good for the adoption process? Hey, maybe I don't love cats as much as the PetSmart employees, I'm not gonna argue that point. Maybe I was strolling by and saw some cute cats and wanted to see them up close. Not an option. I heard someone stole a cat outta that store recently so they're all gun shy about letting 'civilians' get near the felines. Whatever. There are plenty of other pet stores in Cran TWP who let their cats mingle with customers without getting butthurt. read more

They diagnosed my Labrador with a bad spleen among other things incorrectly. I changed his food, he got better. I went back to the old bag of food, blood in his stool and same conditions. I went off the old food, he was fine. Went back on the old food, blood in stool again and same conditions. Now you would think when I told the vet at Petsmart about this they would say "hey, it's the food". Unfortunately, they stuck behind their guns and said it was not and wanted me to spend over $1,000 in more tests and drugs. They wanted me on the Pet smart money "treadmill" So here I am, same dog 18 months later, completely healthy because I changed his food and never went back to it. Of course they made me pay the annual fee (ripoff) so that was not cool. At least I have my dog still. But 18 months later, the liars at Pet smart in Cranberry are still in business. PLEASE don't go there. Hide your pet AND your wallet. read more

I went up here to check out better food for my puppy, as we were looking we noticed a sale sticker that was not taken down. It read, buy one purina pro plan get one half off; so we decided to try this brand. We live an hour away from the store and thought if we could get the deal it would be worth it until we could get back up to Erie. No where on the tag did it say you had to buy a 30 pound bag to get this deal, when we got up to the register we were told that we had to buy a the bigger bag to get the deal. I asked where it said this, did not get a good answer. We bought the one bag and if our dog handles this upgrade to her food I will buy it from a different store completely. I will not go back to this store. The girl helping me was trying to get me to buy Blue Buffalo and I did not want this brand. She went on to tell me that my vet was trying to sell me on a brand that he was promoting. Pushy sales person, told her that was not the case and she just keep trying to push the idea. If we had not already taken the food the line and waited in line, I would have just left. Very disappointed with my whole experience with this store and personal. read more
