Attended a 6-week puppy training course here and Mikey was great to work with. She was enthusiastic and my dog really took to her as a trainer. I have a nervous dog and had a sigh of relief at the level of patience the instructor had and tips that were helpful as a new pet owner. I would return for more extensive training courses with her specifically. I would recommend the service to any pet owners who were even inquiring about these courses.

Went today to this PetSmart location for the first time for grooming, Made an appointment for Bath & Full Haircut, and Nail Trimming. Just got my pet dog back and when I got home, noticed his rear left leg got nicked. Called and they said we could bring him in and see if he needs medical attention. Now it's not a serious injury, so we decided not to bring him in, but they said they weren't aware of it, my dog is a small 6-7 pound, white dog, how can you not notice the red scrape on him. When he got nicked, he would've yelped (no pun intended) or flinched. Hope the groomers will be more aware in the future

They continue to do an amazing job and are efficient. Decent/average pricing too at $45 for her full groom. I drop her off first thing in the mornings around 730 and she's usually ready by 930-11 depending on the # of grooming appts they have. They always are super friendly and helpful and extremely appreciative of gratuity for the groomer. However they book up fast!! So I highly recommend you book 2-3 appts out at a time. I would say that's the only downside if you forget - I've had to wait almost 3 months for Zoe to be seen and her hair grows fast so ideally she needs a cut every 4-6 weeks. Ideal location right on the outskirts of downtown going down smith/battleground split. I've never boarded my dog there but have heard good things and the pups running around seem to love it.

The rest of the staff there is wonderful but in my opinion the business needs new owners or needs to reevaluate how to properly run a business.

The store is clean and well stocked. I loved that the cats in the adoption room had plenty of space, toys and food/water available. Check out was a breeze. The store was pretty large, in my opinion and FILLED with anything you could imagine that you'd need for your pet. They have hand sanitizer available right at the entrance for COVID, along with a statement on the door that they require masks upon entering as well. The left side of the store has plenty of dog food, toys, clothing, and gifts. The right side has everything for cats such as huts (average price of $80), natural toys, leashes, food, raw diet food, treat toppers, and clothing. I'm getting more in depth with the cat side since we only have a cat and were shopping on that side only. The woman, who I assume is the owner, was EXTREMELY nice with helping us find the perfect food for our Bengal. She took her time explaining everything to us in great detail, and never once rushed us. She really made us feel like a valued customer! The amount of information she knew about the different products of food they sell blew.. our.. minds. The information she was giving us ranged from where it came from, what the benefits were, what fit our cat the most, how the brand makes their food.... everything! She knew her stuff, that's for sure! She was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied, and never once tried to pressure us into buying anything. She was very open minded and positive with how she interacted with us! The prices are very reasonable. They are fully stocked with every item they sell. They do some small discounts if you buy in bulk. It's extremely organized with how they have the layouts of their products throughout the store. You'll definitely walk out of this store with something in your hand. It looked like they were even doing a photo shoot with Santa and your pet in a closed in room as well! I'm overall VERY impressed with our whole experience. We will definitely be coming back and supporting this business. The customer service we got is half of the experience, and knowing you're getting the exact thing that your pet needs is the best feeling. They really know everything about their products.

I waited 2 hours to speak with her but she just CALLED THE COPS on me instead! All I did was wait like they instructed! I still haven't been able to even just speak with her. This is not a good business. Just read her responses to her other bad Google Reviews if you aren't convinced. --- Brought in our long-hair cat for a bath and a trim. Staff asked about a Lion's cut. We said no Lion's cut. Staff later called and said that matting in her fur would cause them to need to do a "shorter" cut. When we arrived later they had given her a full Lion's cut, against our wishes. Overall, the staff was rude and inconsiderate of the situation. Traci spent the entire time trying to convince us that since it's a "common cut" and they were required to go short that it was a very normal situation. She admits that we specifically asked not to have a Lion's cut. She admits that "shorter" should not mean Lion's cut. She admits that it was not explained correctly. And since it was just a Lion's cut, she still had matting in her mane after the appointment! Still trying to get a refund. Very disappointed. --- Since they're also now claiming that it wasn't a Lion's cut, I've added a before/after picture. Notice the tail styling, the boots that they left long, and the sharp difference between her body and her head/mane. It is clearly a Lion's cut. And this picture was taken AFTER we brought her back in just to fix the mane they left super long, so it used to be even worse. Please be careful with this salon!

I brought in an old rescue, a little while ago, for her shots, a big, black, cotton-fluff with crushingly beautiful, wet, jewel eyes in contrast. She is at least 10 years old, a rescue left behind by her cancer mother, her only human mom.... with increasingly matted fur. Wanted a place for a quiet, non-dog environment. Not to the vet: to a commercial enterprise called Purr Life in greensboro. For a claw trim, belly shave and comb out. These ladies know their stuff. They discovered a tumor or scyst next to one of Ma Bear's nipples. Called the vet at Skeet Club a half day ahead at Skeet club to remind them to get the vet's request for two gabapentin capsules for Ma Bear, for a similar good visit that she experienced at PurrLife. Hoped the same with the vet..... Called the vet again Today. Went to pick the gabapentin up: crickets. Wasted gas. Called to follow through, to other Publix pharmacies: nope. Not happy with the Skeet Club Vet receptionist. They will be seeing an anxious cat in the early morning, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026. And hearing from a questioning me.
