We have gone to this Petsmart a handful of times for grooming and never felt fully satisfied... until today!!!! We had Aiden do a bath and brush for our boy, sheldon and they did AMAZING! They were so sweet to him and honestly once we picked up our pup, you could see how happy he was! And that's genuine... we've picked him up from grooming here before and with this time you could tell there was a big difference! Hoping to get Aiden EVERY TIME!!! Thank you!!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Do yourself a favor and read the review from three months ago, where the customer talks about the grooming staff saying the dog will have to be shaved, etc. I took my dog who is Part schnauzer part, yorkie in for a bath and a haircut. He was overdue a haircut by about a month, but we were waiting for his incision to heal from his neuter. The person there said, the same thing that he had a few matted places that she would have to cut shorter, which seems perfectly logical. However, when I picked him up, he was shaved down to his flesh in some parts in those areas were extremely hot. When I questioned them about this, they said that that was from the blade and while the groomer was trying to explain to me, the manager chimed in and said, well did he have some mats because that's probably why. There is no reason to literally give a dog razor burn. The groomer basically shaved my dog all over. I did leave her a tip, I was in the process of doing that before I turned and picked up or saw my dog. AVOID THIS PLACE FOR GROOMING! The picture with hair is what most schnorkies look like.

Nicole in the grooming department did a wonderful job on our Pomeranian! She did everything I asked for his haircut! I will be back and requesting Nicole! Thank you

This review is written in reference to the grooming dept. We took our Schnauzer in for cut yesterday. Apparently they'd never cut a Schnauzer before because the completely massacred her beard, which resulted them cutting it completely off. This right before our family Christmas pics. No apology offered by the groomer while still being charged full price for the cut. Obviously I won't go back. I would encourage you to save your money, too

I bought a personal training package from Instinct and the trainer came to my home to train my dog and me. It was such a good decision. Both May and I really liked working with the trainer Lauren S. Her approach and tone were awesome. I knew from the first appointment with her that it was going to be great. I'd been trying to figure out how to get May to sit for weeks. Lauren got her sitting in a session. All in all I think we had 9 sessions with Lauren. In that time we learned a lot and have been applying it. My relationship with my dog is so much better because of Instinct. The thing I will caution people against is having unrealistic expectations of your dog and the trainer. If you go in with the desire to make your dog a unquestioningly obedient robot then you will be disappointed. Just focus on the over all quality and happiness of your dog's life

We were even sent an hour long questionnaire about our dog's history/health/behavior/etc. prior to training. Y'all...they care so much! We have a 1 year old rescue pup who's dog reactive, and we've been pretty much unable to take him on walks or near other dogs at all. Jenna helped us overcome all of this and we could not be more grateful. She coached us on how to slowly warm him up to lots of different scenarios- we even had a playdate with another dog today with no issues! His reactivity will be something we'll continue to work on for months, but I can't tell you how relieved we are to have gained some confidence with it. Jenna really helped put things into perspective and helped us understand how to read our dog and take things at his pace. You really can't rush progress like this, and I love that Instinct doesn't promise "quick, fast, easy results" because those are not effective or even possible. We would absolutely do this again if given the chance, booking with Instinct was a game changer.

Our pup was…read moreprobably no different than any other pup but my lack of experience with raising dogs led to daily frustration and mental breakdowns. I started seriously questioning returning our puppy because I had ZERO left in me to tolerate her. To make a long story short, we researched dog trainers and were impressed with the amount of positive reviews we read on The Dog Wizard and decided to give the private training sessions a shot. Tate was our trainer and he was heaven sent. I appreciated how he took the time to listen to our individual problems with our pup and never once made me feel like the most clueless dog owner (which I can admit to being at one point). In our sessions I learned an immense amount about how my puppy was interpreting my actions and different methods to try on her. Our sessions were part education and part action. We would apply the newly learned method with the pup until it clicked. Getting a dog trainer does not mean that you are off the hook after he/she leaves. The only way to get your the training methods to stick are to continue to practice them every day. It's a great way to hold you accountable until the next session. I couldn't have been happier with the level of knowledge and accommodation Tate provided us with. If you're even slightly thinking about hiring the Dog Wizard, I can promise you that you and your sanity will not regret it.

Short version: she's amazing with dogs and very quickly got my two out of control dogs under control. She's honorable, professional and provides great value. If you are considering retaining her, do it! Just look at the pictures of my happy dogs. That's all you need to know. Long version: I have worked with Noelle since about March and since that time have come to rely on her for all things dog related. I hired her initially for the intensive dog training, still rely on her for weekly training sessions, and have used her for "house sitting" the dogs when I travel. I recommend all three services as highly as you can recommend anything. Let me explain. On Super Bowl Sunday, 2014, I rescued two French Bulldogs and named them Zeus and Apollo. You may recall these are the names of the exceptionally well behaved Dobermans from Magnum PI. Well, my lads were far from that. They had been smuggled inform Russia and then detained at a farm in 29 Palms with dozens of other dogs. They were about 6 months old, had no potty training and were constantly fighting. They wouldn't sleep or go in their crates. They went to the bathroom in the house it seemed like every 15 minutes. They refused to walk on a leash. After a month, I was sleepless, frustrated and about to quit. Enter Noelle! Within 2 days, they were sleeping in their crates the entire night. They were on the path to be potty trained. She came in for an intensive program (6 hours per day for 10 days or so), but got the dogs under control so quickly that she didn't need to stay for the whole time. So, she graciously agreed to a longer term training program, which we continue to this day. Not only did she train the dogs, she helped me understand how to bring out the best in my dogs. She provided detailed instructions and helped me become a better dog manager. The dogs went from being neurotic monsters to two of the most friendly dogs you can imagine. They are incredibly friendly, great around kids and just love other dogs. If you want further information, please feel free to reach out and I can give you more information about what a blessing Noelle has been. Tomasulo.michael@gmail.com

We especially appreciate her positive reinforcement approach, which has not only helped us train Tubbs, but also helped us recognize and "correct" some of our own human habits along the way! As new pet parents navigating adoption, Chelle has been a trusted source of advice and reassurance. Her responsiveness and kindness have meant the world to us, and it's clear she genuinely cares about every dog and family she works with. Beyond training, we plan to be lifelong customers through For Social Graces' boarding, daycare, and grooming services.
