PetSmart has an excellent selection for our little chihuahua mix, Ruthie. We always find what we need or want for her. I went to a nearby competitor and was disappointed in the limited number of treats available and they didn't have Nulo dry or wet food, ugh! We use Banfield for her health care and most PetSmart stores have them in the store or next door, which is very convenient. The in-store grooming is a great convenience too. We keep our dog on a health plan at PetSmart to ensure she is as healthy as possible (they offer three plans to meet every budget). The entire staff we've interacted with show a deep love for pets. I just can't say enough good things about PetSmart! They are our pet store forever. read more

I was convinced this was out new local PetSmart having just moved here with my husband who has terminal cancer, served 13 years in the Marin corps. We dropped off our service animal for a simple grooming and when I called FOUR hours later....the "manager" Megan stated that she was sorry, will talk to the groomer Zac and there was nothing she could do. I paid the bill in full online previous to picking him up and stated I didn't want a refund , just wanted her compassion. She proceeded to ask me if I was THREATENING HER?!?! With what? I'm so disappointed with the horrible customer service and saddened to see this is how they treat our VETS. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. My pup had to have another groomer finish my pups grooming as the other gentleman had left for the day. read more

Hours are not accurate!!! Drove 30 mins to this PetSmart because it said they open at 7:30 and I was let into the store only to be told they don't open till 9 and I can't buy anything. I was in a rush to get my dog his calming treats before I left for work and I told her that I just need one thing and told me no! I am a regular customer for the grooming salon and I have now decided to evaluate other options. In multiple occasions my dog has come back home from his appointment with an irritated rear-end to the point of having to spend a couple of days with antibiotics to recover. Most of the personnel is not well trained with the exception of a select few. In addition to this, on three occasion I have made appointments via phone where the personnel assures me that everything is in order for my dogs appointment, just to have the personnel wanting to cancel my appointment for lack of updated records. In two occasion I have lost my appointment for being unable to send them new records during check-in at the grooming salon. It seems to me that they should perform this verification at the time of the appointment instead of waiting for the customer to be at the location. read more

Excellent service and wonderful selection of products for all animal needs. Their dog groomers are great! We have a large four year old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix and they groom her beautifully, and handle her so gently and kindly. They often have shelter kitties/cats on site for adoption so it's fun to love on these babies when they are there Love PetSmart bunches!! Oh. Almost forgot, they have great costumes for dogs and cats for Halloween and Christmas!! read more

So I have taken BOB - my 120 lb very fluffy GoldenDoodle - here since they opened. Priscilla used to groom him but she moved to Safari. Today he was groomed by Jessie and she did a FABULOUS job! Followed my directions EXACTLY and he was super happy when I picked him up. I'm very very pleased!!! read more

Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, since I've really only been here to pick up an Exo-Terra enclosure and buy things from the fish department. But today I wanted to hug the manager at the fish department for: 1) Knowing her stuff 2) Dealing with the world's most stupid customer (Darwin award goes to the man who insists that male bettas can live together in a bigger tank. Just sit on that for a bit). I spoke to the manager for a bit about looking for a specific fish, and then I went to look at what was actually in stock and was surprised to find a species I could barely ever find anywhere. I'm somewhat convinced it's because this is the Petsmart in the nice part of town, but I'm probably totally wrong haha. Anyway, the fish looked amazing here, it could just be because of newer equipment but the manager KNEW HER STUFF (which is so rare in fish departments at chain stores), and I'm pretty sure it was so nice because she was on top of it. This was a giant upgrade in terms of education from the Petsmart in Webster that told a friend of ours that oh yes, you totally can put a crap ton of fish in a 3 gallon tank. The times I've had to come here, the employees have been wonderful, and I love the location. It is quiet and not a ton of crowding, which is perfect for a nice shopping experience. I will update if I decide to take my dog here for grooming! read more

Took my dog to be groomed, staff assured me they have notes and remembered how I like her to look when I called back after I left the store as we don't go very often. I did not want her fluffy tail cut and it was cut a LOT! Her face was cut too short so no cute beard! Rest of her coat was not even, either. Well, guess I'll give a long lecture next time to make sure and NO MORE TIPS! At least they're not UPCHARGING like they do at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not happy... read more

It's new and clean and the staff was friendly, asking us as soon as we came in if they could help us find anything. However, came specifically to look at their cat perches--and they had the smallest selection I've ever seen at a Petsmart, worse than Petco's options. When I asked if that was all they had, the employee said they were a smaller store and didn't have the selection of other stores. We left immediately. It's a brand new store that is the start of a new shopping center across from a brand new H-E-B surrounded by new residential homes. Stocking of less items and telling customers that they are smaller than other stores doesn't meet their goal. Add to it that my SO used to work at a Petsmart and she commented that it wasn't smaller than other stores; it simply looked like they chose to stock way more on dog shampoos than cat perches. We'll use them in emergencies when we need litter in a bind but unfortunately this won't become our regular store despite being the closest one to us. read more

This is a great brand new Petsmart location however the store is extremely hot making it very uncomfortable for shopping and the store staff says they ha e no control over the climate, corporate does and corporate said the store does. Whoever controls the environment they definitely need to make it a comfortable one for this store to be successful! read more

So I called around before coming to this location to find a cat groomer to trim my cats nails and the woman said she could do it. I arrived twenty minutes later and this woman named, Priscilla was very rude. She came in saying she wouldn't be able to do it for 45 minutes because she was on her break even though I had just called and she didn't mention that. What I don't appreciate was her attitude. I won't be returning to this location ever. read more

Second experience in the store also a great one. Found a dog door I had been looking online for a while for but was hesitant due to cost of the door quantity and construction on install. The girl knew exactly what I was looking for. I didn't catch her name but extremely nice and helpful. Found exactly what I was looking for and let me open the box and check it out to make sure I liked it. The door was over 200 bucks which was really expensive. The staff member mentioned they do price matching I found it online for half. They matched it. So she found the door saved me $100 and I was in and out quick with exactly what I needed. Just opened and I like the layout. We usually have to drive all the way down Bay Area to go to a petsmart but now there is one right around the corner! They have mostly the same brands and the staff is still learning. But it's a great place to shop! read more

This place is great I love the store but staff was very rude they told me that I couldn't buy a snake because they got it in like 3 hrs before I got there and they aren't aloud to do that and this girl and her mom walked in when I was leaving and I've always seen people walk around with there dog without a leash and they hold the collar and the lady was very rood and said "ok well hold on to him tight because it's a policy" very rudely and it was the worst experience at a petsmart or any pet store it's not a good staff at all!!! read more

This store has terrible customer service. All the fish in their aquariums were dead, meanwhile a some of the staff were in plain view of the customers just sitting around on their cell phones. I asked for help to help me with cat litter and NO HELP was received. Candice the cashier was also rude, not much help. This location needs extra training.
