I've been to this location a few times for purchases and just recently started using grooming services here. I have to say that we will keep returning for grooming because of our experience with Priscilla. She has been so wonderful in working with a very nervous and reactive dog. Her patience and warmth has allowed him to get much needed services and feel better and look so handsome. She deserves a raise! All of this is in addition to her general kind demeanor, courteous phone communication, and just overall welcoming attitude. The other staff I've encountered in the grooming area, and at the checkout registers have also been wonderful. This is a retail location we will keep coming back to. I came In on Christmas Eve around 10am and it was a little busier than normal, but the workers went above and beyond to look for items I was asking help on finding. even after I gave up they were still looking for the item and eventually found it and walked me right to it. when I got to the cashier Khalif was the best, when ringing me up he educated me and let me know that I was going to be missing out on over $40 in rewards, and also saved me over $100 with educating me on the member perks rewards and how I was not using them to my full advantage and was just throwing away free money! Owner of toy poodle- horrible job, uneven cut, completely shaved without my permission. Made my dog bleed on her stomach. No experience. The groomers name is Mia R. The groomer this visit did a horrible job. The tech Mia felt my dog before cutting her. I specifically said I did not want her as short as the bald dogs that were in the back. She said no problem. My dog had a couple mats behind her front legs and everywhere else was fine. She checked before she took on the task. I never had this lady before which was obvious unexperienced with poodles. They have curly hair when it gets wet you have to blow dry while you comb it out. She said it was all matted and cut all my poodles hair off and it was completely uneven. And she cut her on her belly. It's like she was cutting her curls because she was too lazy to blow dry and comb, after I was required to pay her extra for spending the extra time prior to service. When I picked up my dog, she's not even the one that gave me her. She hid in the back because she knew the messed up job she did. I know she was hiding in the back because when I went back a couple minutes later, after I had to immediately buy a sweater to cover my dog because she was freezing, all of a sudden other employees and the manager and were out there working cutting their half cut dogs. Unexperienced, it's all I have to say, they should not let her ever cut poodles or any animal. This tech had curly hair, the next time her hair decides it wants to get tangled, She should just cut it off with scissors like she did my dog. The right thing to do would've been for you to call me and say hey this is not gonna work I'm gonna have to shave your dog then I would've said no and I would've picked her up and did it myself or took my time instead of paying over $80. I used to rave about Petsmart grooming about how good they were but not if they let people like this work there. If you want your dog to be bald and uneven, and sliced go here. If treatment changes on grooming, they need to notify the owner before they decide to make that decision on their own to cut your dog bald and uneven. Also let the customer know how experienced or unqualified you are and if you've ever cut poodles before. Also show some pictures of previous work with before and after. Matter-of-fact take pictures while you're grooming if you run into issues that you can't handle. read more

Over booked! My regular groomer left, so I booked with Cheyenne, said it would be 3-4 hours. I Took almost 5 hours, unacceptable! I went into the store at 4 hours and she was socializing outside the grooming area. I asked was my 7 lb. Dog ready, she said no it would be a mouth 30 minutes. So I booked a simple wash on the phone with pets mart corporate, mentioned they're two golden retrievers... got a 10am appointment for both. I get to the store and am told they showed one of my goldens as 13lbs!! The groomer said she doesn't do big dogs so they had to turn me away. Then the manager comes in, and I fully expected him to provide great customer service and perform the washing himself... but no, he just said sorry and I'd have to come back another day. This is a pretty basic PetSmart and it can get busy because it's located at the Town Center but the line has always been manageable and service friendly. Items here can be pricey if they're not on sale and even sale prices are higher than online prices. For dog treats I usually order online...if y'all want to know where, send me a pm and I'll be happy to share. We frequent this location since it's one of a few places that sells a prescription dog food for my Frenchie. He has struggled with allergies / skin issues for years when we lived in IL and we tried everything, short of putting him on a raw diet. His vet in FL had him try the Hills Prescription Diet z/d and it's the only thing that has helped. He still get spots here and there, but nothing like what it used to be. read more

To whom it concerns, today December 19, 2023 Pet Smart Company They didn't have my big bag of Royal Canin dog and they supposed to be getting it in. I had to get 17 pound bag which cost me $105.00 in the 27 or 28 pound bag is $130 so I'm disappointed we charging me so much for a little bag that I can get a big bag for cheap or they need to make sure that their management orders those big bags or more bags than they usually do I'm not satisfied The dog food is very expensive already. If they can give me one bag for $130.00 and get the other one free. Maybe I'll take this post down. PS. Horrible grooming dept. Was told by "store manager W" that there were issues with that dept but gave no specifics except that it was busy, the salon mgr was not in ..... I was never "greeted" so rudely by groomer "A" ( first initial) and did not trust her with my baby. I thought if you are this awful while I'm here, who knows what happens in the 5+ hours you "say" you are working-such a joke! I asked the "manager" to walk with me back to the salon so they would know that I had reported this unnecessary stress and unprofessional treatment, and I had told A that I noted she was not in frame of mind to do caring work. The mgr did VERY reluctantly follow me, went in and we saw not 1...not 2...but 3 groomers including A (whom I fired) sitting upfront on their...chairs ...doing NOTHING. Strictly for the grooming department- I called to get an appointment for my cat and was immediately told that there were no openings available on 11/21. I go online and there was an available open for 4pm. I called to verify and to inform that my cat is being checked out at Banfield for a fall and being out the night before. I was given every excuse for them not to complete the service. I told them my cat is fine and he was just brought in as a precaution and more excuses as to why they don't feel comfortable cleaning him. Go somewhere else with trained/better groomers. read more

Made it very clear I'd be late for my appointment when booking it because of school. I was told it would be fine, and the account was notated. It's a FOUR hour appointment window to bath & trim a little 4 pound dog and was told because I was going to be late, the day of, that they would no longer accept me. The groomer on the phone was absolutely careless. She had no empathy, NO attempt to help or reschedule. Sounded pleased to be canceling a client honestly. I took my dog for a grooming visit and paid extra for a teeth and mouth cleaning. They did not even touch her mouth, but still charged me. They also seemed to only wash half of my dog which she was there for 2 hours so why can't they bathe my dog entirely when that is what I paid for. They never clip all of her nails either. This is for the grooming department specifically. I have a cat who I've gotten groomed at another location of PetSmart with 0 issues and awesome service. This particular location, especially "Adrianna", is filled with the rudest and unwelcoming group of people I've had the disservice to encounter. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable leaving my animal with them. They did not greet me, did not smile nor explain what the process would be. Arianna was rude and made me feel very uneasy leaving my cat with her. I should of just stayed at the store because they called me about 45 minutes later stating she refused to do this grooming. If you were uncomfortable with cats, why would you not tell me upfront? I've had 0 issues getting my cat groomed at the other location and this was the first and absolute last time I'm bringing my pet her. 100000/10 do NOT recommend getting your pet groomed here. How is it that this pet smart will NOT take my dog for their grooming service with their policy of a 48 hour wait after a rabies shot while other pet grooming services only need to wait 20 minutes after a rabies shot. My dog was taking to banfield after consuming to much shampoo water. He was salivating couldn't stand up and I was told he had a neurological problem from the vet there. The groomer was quick to defend they don't use ANY chemicals in washing the dogs however my dog had a scent and was washed with something. After the second opinion from a emergency vet that visits your home we found out it was something he consumed. I would never ever take my puppy to any of the services offered and I honestly don't trust the crickets I even get for my bearded dragon. Please think twice. My puppy is back to normal but we were scared for a few days. When I say he couldn't stand up he couldn't stand and was drooling. Do not take the chance!! read more

I just got a mini golden doodle puppy who used to live on a farm so needless to say he needed a bath the day I got him. I was a little hesitant to take him to a groomer on his first day, but I was put at ease once I got there. Kim did such a good job with him he didn't want to leave her! I was clearly the last appointment of the night, but she didn't rush through so she could go home. She took her time with him to make sure he was comfortable and properly groomed. She even gave me a mini lesson in caring for his coat since I had just gotten him. He came out so fluffy and happy! read more

I couldn't find anyone to help me so I went up front to the registers requesting help. We wait, wait, wait and wait. Many people come in the store, get what they need and have left and we're still waiting!! So, I called this store and the manager knew I was waiting but the person was now helping someone in the fish are instead of helping me after I had requested at least 15-20 minutes ago! I'm disabled and walk with a cane. I use a buggy whenever I enter a store to make sure I don't fall. I'm standing there waiting and in pain and no one ever shows up!!! My back by this time is screaming I'm in so much pain and my legs and feet are now numb.. We finally left as I couldn't stand much longer. So, if you know what you need and don't need help go but if you need help don't go. I'm very disappointed in this store. We will never go back. It's no excuse to know someone requires help and you ignore them and help someone else. And the excuse of I only have 2 employees in the store and the manager when given her name on the phone never gave it to me clearly so have no idea who she is but she sounded very young so I don't believe I was actually speaking to a manager. read more

This is a nice, clean PetSmart with friendly employees. They are always willing to help you find whatever you may be looking for. They have so many different brands of dog and cat food. So, if you need a speciality food for your dog or cat, you can probably find it here. They usually have good sales on a variety of toys and clothing for dogs. The thing I do not like about any PetSmart stores are their obedience classes. As someone who knows how to train service dogs, I do not like their training methods. Also, the people doing the training aren't as knowledgeable as they should be. I've watched some of the classes and I just shake my head and roll my eyes. read more

We have a new (fur) baby in the house... Baby Lambeau! In preparation for our highly anticipated new family member I, of course, went to PetSmart to pick up a few necessary puppy things... I was barely in the door before one of the associates greeted me (looked to be a manager maybe?) and asked me if I needed help finding anything... No thanks - but appreciate the gesture! I stood lost in the collar/leash isle for 15 or so minutes trying to figure out what size our new baby would wear, and again I was approached and asked if I needed help.... so the associate gave some suggestions and I made my selection. I ended up purchasing a few collars, a leash and a cute plus flamingo toy...also stopped by the engraving machine to get a tag for Lambeau. The girl at checkout was very friendly, got me signed up for their pet rewards, and checked out quickly. *Back in the day my mom and I would take our family dog here for shopping and the vet. We always received such nice treatment from all associates. Overall this visit was a super nice visit. I can't wait to take Lambeau here to explore once she's a bit older. read more

Buyer beware! Make sure if you shop here that you are aware of the shelf prices before you go to check out! This store is notorious for items ringing up higher than the shelf price. Even items on sale. And when the error is brought to their attention, they don't fix it in the system , so the next customer will be over charged, as well. Sometimes pet food companies will add a percentage of food to bags that is supposed to be a free perk. This store charges more for those bags of food. If you bring it to their attention they will change the price to what it should be, but not if you don't say something. I've practically stopped shopping at PetSmart stores bc I hate to have to watch every price and I hate to have to bring it to their attention!! Very disappointed! All I wanted was 2 small angelfish at $4 a piece. But much to my chagrin I was refused the fish buy a multicolored hair teenage girl with a condescending attitude! Unless you tell her all about the tanks you have and the fish you have in them, she will refuse to sell them to you! I told her I had multiple large tanks and it would take 30 minutes to explain everything to her and I just wanted the two little fish and I'll be on my way! I went in to buy fish (something I do regularly being that it's a hobby of mine and I know what I'm doing...) , not to be asked a whole questionnaire of what I have and so on. Not sure of her name because she had no name tag ,but a very young woman with short blonde hair helped me :) gave me attitude and after she put in her two sense in of what she thought was educating me, she was wrong and I told/showed her. Don't go here. Take your dog to a safer place! This facility smells, dogs barking and barking and stressed out, dog hair all over not swept up after grooming other dogs. The Groomer "Melissa" is just down right RUDE! She was unkept herself, dirty smock, dirty greasy hair and gross shoe AND she didn't even know how to hold a dog in her arms correctly at all. I can't imagine her behind the scenes caring nicely for an animal. She wasn't nice herself, she didn't seem to be kind to the dogs and was extremely lazy. I watched her speak to a customer and she was awful, very dry and unfriendly and rude. Pet Smart shouldn't employ people like this when caring for other people's pets. We will take our dogs to a better, cleaner and safer place with employees who are well kept themselves and kind to people and dogs. So what about three strikes and your ??? Ok so I board my dog for the second time and the rate is roughly four times what I paid two months prior, shame on me for not confirming. Ok so I take the dog in for chronic diarrhea , they say they want to keep him for observation. The bill is astronomical due to testing, outside consultation, X-rays, blood work, fecal tests - the diagnosis is upset stomach. I guess shame on me for assuming they would seek consent before running a bunch of tests. So ok it is check, confirm and be explicit with this bunch. No problem. I board my dog and say I can pick him up at 630 Sunday night. They say they close at 6 but might be around but probably not. I say ok what if I don't make it? They say we open at 730. I arrive at 730. I am told I can't have my dog. I am talking to the same person who I confirmed the times because it's check and confirm. I am told no one should have told you that. I say why can't I have him - he needs to be bathed. I say I want my dog. She says maybe ten but probably noon. You never know the real intent for the result that appears wrong, ridiculous or unjust but with 3 of my 4 dealings being more than just less than expected from a reasonable and competent vet practice I will never trust my wallet, my time or my dog here again. read more

To say I hate the grooming department here would be an understatement. "They're matted" means we're lazy and would rather shave your dog then actually do what I'm paid to do. The woman who was responsible for my dog was incredibly rude, and they did a terrible job with my other dog's hair, leaving one low spot discolored. I had NEVER seen that spot but all of a sudden he has a "birthmark." Sure. -__- You can bet I'll never take our dogs to this location again. Hire people who actually care about the quality of their work and have a pleasant attitude. Andi, our Bolognese was seen at the Banfield Vet here. They were great with her and explained everything we should expect since she's a puppy. This PetSmart is also always stocked and has exactly what you need for your pet. We have dropped off Andi to the salon and they shampooed and conditioned her and put a bow in her hair. She smelled amazing! I definitely recommend this PetSmart!! Every employee here (dog groomers, trainers, vets, etc) is so friendly! They're always more than willing to help you find whatever it is you're looking for! read more

Having 3 dog and we go through a lot of pet food and supply. Petsmart has always been our go to place (other than amazon). The pups get so excited when we pull into the parking lot and their noses go crazy once we get out. The staff is friendly and the store is clean (despite the occasional cleanup on isle 3). I took me Goldendoodle puppy to the groomer for the very first time. I was told that she would be ready in 3-4 hours. After 4 hours and not receiving a call I decided to go ahead and head to pet smart. My pup Belly was still being groomed at this time. I witnessed the groomer (a heavy set, older lady) FORCEFULLY PULLING hair out of my dogs ear. My puppy was yelping and crying in pain. I have never heard a dog cry in so much agony in my life. Once I was home I decided to google hair removal from dogs ear. After watching several videos, there was not a single video that PULLED the hair from the dog ear. Nor was there a single dog in any video yelping in agony or crying for that matter. I also asking several other goldendoodle owners have they ever experienced this any they all said NO, that is sad and urged me to make a report to management. As of now my pup has one bloodshot red ear and scabs in both. Both my girlfriend and I called to make a report, as of now I am still wanting for Petsmart to call me back to see what can be done about this, it's been 3 days since the first report was made. As far as the grooming job, my pup has patches on her belly. Her face is uneven while a small chunk of hair was taken from under one of her eyes. I will never take my pup here again to be groomed and I will share this story with every person that I can. This is unacceptable on the groomers behalf, I am extremely concerned for the well being of anyone's pet in the hands of this lady (heavy set, older). Update: The groomer name is Melissa. read more

I have been taking my Doggo to PetSmart for all his need since he was a puppy; vet, grooming, food, etc. For the price, it's wonderful! I have Crissie groom him, although I've used other groomers there also and they have all done a good job. The vet, Dr. Green, is very nice. The best vet I have encountered at this location. She reminds you of a vet who would work in a small, private, expensive practice. The cashiers up front are always very pleasant. I witnessed a very challenging customer once and the manager was very accommodating to the man. I'm only giving 4 stars though because I have experienced negative energy from some vet desk staff and groomers. Depending on the day, some employees are not in a good mood and as a customer I'd prefer not to know about it. read more

This spot has horrible grooming service I requested they give my dog a small trim and to not trim his tail or head. They did not listen and now my dog is entirely shaved. Horrible customer service, I took my dog to get groomed and was told I needed to have a vet take a knot of hair out of his ear before they can groom him. I scheduled the appointment and for my dog to get neutered, over the phone they told me the neuter would be under $100 if I signed up for their program, but when I get there they said it will be $500 even if I paid for their program.. so I just got the knot of hair out of my pups ear so we could get him groomer, and now my grooming appointment has come and they say they will not cut my dogs hair because his hair is slightly tangled on his butt? Than why did you make me go to the vet to get him groomed and when I go back they say they still won't groom him and a vet has to shave him. I literally can brush through all his hair, so I don't know why this is such a problem. They just want to take your money and the grooming department is lazy read more

I was extremely unhappy with the grooming salon. I was told that I would receive a text when my dog was ready to be picked up but never received one. They called me at 5:38 to let me know he was ready and when I got there I was told that I would have to pay a $30 late fee because they closed at 5:30. I tried to explain to them that I wasn't notified that he was ready until after they closed but they said that it didn't matter because it doesn't always work right and I should have shown up on time anyway.
