I was worried to bring my dog to a chain store for grooming but I was not disappointed! They did such a great job with the bath and left my dog looking great! 10/10 recommend.

What a great touch! "Tell your car we said hello!"

I ordered my kitties food on a pre order pick up. It was ready when I walked in, I gave my order number and name and received my package. The nice touch was the note they left saying "tell your car we said hello!" And that was just a wonderful extra touch. Thank you Petsmart!

USED box that they sold me that was missing 5 of the 30 packets

DO NOT use their "online pickup order"--they will sell you used products and then refuse to refund you for the missing product. I did online pickup and this was missing 5 of the 30, and the box was sold to me taped up at the top, so it was clearly used and then returned. The customer service eventually did issue a refund, which was good

I love petsmart. My family and I are heavily involved in petsmart/banfield. Banfield is a hospital within petsmart their truly amazing everyone that works here looks like they genuinely care about animals. Especially Hilary and Steven. Hilary works the banfield side and Steven takes care of the animals throughout the store! Hilary was super helpful about prices involving insurance and health needs for the animals. Be mindful they only check cats and dogs. The prices are not bad at all. They range from 30.95 a month to 50 a month. I have three dogs and their all old. So I need to take care of them I also have a bearded dragon so I need to take care of him too. Petsmart is amazing. Thank you!

PETSMART - DADELAND STATION - After getting stuck in traffic on Kendall Drive AND having to wait at a railroad crossing for a train to pass, Coco Puff (my stunningly beautiful pussycat) and I arrived at this Petsmart a teensy bit late for their Saturday special event ... "Chance" the Petsmart canine mascot was posing with pets for photos. When I told an employee that Coco & I were there for the photo session, I was informed that it was over. Although we were only ONE MINUTE late, they had already shut down everything pertaining to the event. Coco & I were both disappointed and (with a sad face) we asked nicely if there was any way that we could still snag a quick photo with their dog mascot. The employee asked his manager but was told no, sorry, the event is over. I was like, awww, shucks! I explained to the employee how we missed the event because of the train. Darn train! The employee seemed very compassionate and AGAIN asked his manager, almost pleading, to see if there was any way that they could accommodate me. The manager paused, then told the employee, "Well, if you don't mind putting the dog costume back on!" (Apparently, this employee was the one who had been dressed up as their dog mascot.) The employee assured his manager that he did not mind at all. So the manager said, "OK, go ahead." The nice, young employee excused himself as he proceeded to the backroom to put on the costume. When he returned dressed as a giant dog, I handed Coco Puff over to him, and the manager took the photo (which he emailed to me afterward. See my photos.) I feel that they truly went above and beyond for customer satisfaction. I was pleased. Then, as usual, Coco played on their "kitty playground" while I shopped. And, as usual, when it was time to leave, Coco Puff threw a temper tantrum just like a little kid would when their time at the playground has come to an end. (Spoiled brat!! ... Lol! ) This particular Petsmart location is conveniently located in Dadeland Station on the third floor right next to the circular parking ramp. A full-service Banfield Pet Hospital is on site. Employees are always friendly and helpful. In addition to this specific location meriting a 5 star rating, I also give the Petsmart Corporation, in general, 5 stars for the following reasons: 1.  They allow pets inside!  YAY!  Coco Puff is an extroverted cat who just loves to go to Petsmart with me.  All the employees & customers love her and they always tell me that they have never seen a  CAT  in the store, as most customers bring their DOG. As you can imagine, Coco Puff stands out in the crowd and quickly becomes surrounded with many adoring fans. 2.  They carry my cat's FAVORITE canned catfood!  And, it is EXCLUSIVE to PETSMART!  The brand is GRREAT CHOICE (Petsmart's private label) and the flavor is CHICKEN CACCIATORE, an incredibly unique flavor because, like the classic Italian dish for humans, this gourmet recipe for felines features hearty chunks of protein-rich chicken immersed in a tantalizing tomato sauce.  Although I have only one cat myself, I have given this flavor to every other cat I know, and guess what?! ... They ALL LOVE it!  Apparently, cats like tomato sauce.  WHO KNEW?! 3.  They have terrific promotions for PetPerks members.  PetPerks is Petsmart's customer loyalty program.  You simply present your PetPerks card at the checkout (or just give your phone number) in order to receive PetPerks pricing.  Also, you will receive exclusive promotions/coupons via e-mail.  (Don't worry, they do NOT bombard your inbox!)  Occasionally throughout the year, there will be special offers such as 15% off your total purchase, $10 off $30 purchase (which is actually 33% off ! ), and, most recently, they have offered an unbelievably amazing deal: FREE BAG of cat or dog food! (YES, FREE!) Up to 4.5 lb. bag for cats and up to 6 lb. bag for dogs.  NO purchase necessary!  NO price restrictions!  NO brand exclusions!  TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!  What a terrific way to build customer loyalty! THANK YOU, PETSMART!  I am a happy customer! 4.   They make significant charitable contributions.  One example:  In celebration of its 30th anniversary, PetSmart, Inc. launched its Buy a Bag, Give a Meal™ program in March 2017.  For every bag of cat or dog food purchased March 1 - Dec. 31, 2017, PetSmart will donate a meal to pets in need and expects to donate more than 60 million meals in 2017. 5. PHOTOS WITH SANTA!! They offer free photos with Santa during two weekends in December. Dozens of dog owners bring their pampered pooches to these events. As usual, I am THE ONLY ONE bringing a CAT to these novelty events. MEOW!

They explained that the dogs play all day, have activities, are separated by temperament, and that puppies are carefully monitored. This gave me peace of mind since I had concerns about his joints, breaks, and being around larger dogs since he's just a baby. When I dropped him off, the man at the desk was also professional and explained that Murphy would receive a temperament assessment around lunchtime, and I'd get a call afterward with an update. He said I could either pick Murphy up then or leave him longer depending on how things went. Unfortunately, I never received a call or text. When I finished work and called them, the woman who answered was short and unenthusiastic -- she simply said, "Oh yeah, we have Murphy. He's in with the dogs, he's fine." Her tone left me uneasy. When I arrived, I found Murphy sitting off to the side in the large dog area, panting and looking unhappy. The dogs in the group were very large, and one was jumping excessively on top of other dogs (I'm talking like a kangaroo. 6ft in the air. The dog should be named jelly bean). Murphy, normally playful and confident, seemed timid and off. To make things worse, he was completely soaked -- his belly, legs, tail, everything. The floor of the play area was covered in large puddles of liquid, and while the staff member tried to tell me it was just "water from the hose," it was clearly urine. Once home, it was undeniable from the smell that he had been sitting and lying in urine (possibly mixed with feces). I was told dogs are only walked once a day and use a grass area outside. From what I saw, the indoor space has no toys or stimulation, and the floors are left wet with urine throughout the day. This means the dogs are essentially playing and laying in filth for hours. I left with Murphy timid, drenched in urine, and completely unlike his normal happy self. When I raised concerns, I was met with a dismissive response rather than care or reassurance. While I was in the lobby, I actually asked other people dropping off their dogs if they would recommend this place, since I was so concerned. To my surprise, they said they would. So perhaps some dogs are less sensitive to the environment, need less enrichment, or hygiene isn't as much of a concern to their owners. It's possible I caught the facility on a bad day. I am grateful this was a free trial because I would not have paid for such substandard care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be bringing Murphy back. I sincerely hope the facility improves its sanitation, communication, and oversight, because the way the dogs are kept now is unacceptable. - I felt providing an update on this review is important for anyone considering bringing their pup to DogTown. After I picked Murphy up from daycare and wrote my initial review, he slept for hours and hours. When he finally woke up, he had developed a severe limp in his front leg. The limp worsened, and he ended up at the vet today. Thankfully, there are no broken bones, but the vet believes it's either a soft tissue injury or a hairline fracture. This almost certainly came from the rough play that's allowed at Dog Town, as Murphy had no issues prior and had just been cleared at the vet the week before during routine vaccines. My poor 5-month-old puppy is now on pain medication and sedation so we can keep him practically on bed rest while we hope his injury heals on its own. The vet also noticed a growth on his lip, which is canine papilloma virus. While I can't say with 100% certainty that it came from here, research shows it's commonly spread in dog daycare and boarding facilities, and the timing makes it very possible. With both of these things, I truly wish I could rate this place negative five stars.

On one stay, my dog was actually bitten by another dog. The only thing they offered was a 10% discount, which barely touched my $800 bill. It didn't feel like they took the situation seriously at all. 2. They also signed me up for their membership to give me some small perk, and when I tried canceling it a month later, it turned into a whole ordeal. I had to reach out multiple times just to get it taken care of, which was ridiculous. 3. And then recently, I booked a short stay on a Monday and wasn't told it was non-refundable. When I asked for a refund two days later, the owner wouldn't give it and only offered credit. I explained that I've already had several issues with them, but it didn't seem to matter. The lack of transparency was on their end, yet I was the one stuck with the loss. At this point, I honestly regret ever bringing my dogs here. The owners seem more interested in sticking to their policies than actually listening to customers or owning up to their mistakes.

Big mistake. Right after her visit, I discovered she had developed two fungal ringworm spots. In her four years of life, she has NEVER had any skin issues, not once. This was the very first and it came immediately after being groomed here. Ringworm is highly contagious and extremely difficult to treat. Not only has this become stressful and time consuming, but it has impacted her well being and my ability to interact with her normally. I am devastated. For a grooming facility to allow something like this to happen shows a serious lack of sanitation and hygiene protocols. I am disgusted and extremely disappointed. I have completely lost trust in this place and will make sure other pet owners are aware. Your pets' health and safety should always come first...do NOT take your dog here.
