I had my dogs nails clipped 12/30/25. Groomer great. when I went to pay up front the clerk had trouble running the bill through. Manager Marie was very rude and treated the clerk very badly and made me and the customers behind me very uncomfortable. I then walked back to the grooming salon to collect my dog and low and behold there was Marie, ripping the groomers a new one. no reason to make such a show. Upon entering the store and while shopping we were never greeted in the store or asked if we acquired any assistance. Personally, I'm okay with that on most occasions. But if you enjoy interaction or desire ready assistance for your pet's needs then just know that it'll ask for you to speak up. I went here to take care of my pet's self-care necessities. However, they didn't have the specific dog food brand that we were looking for which is normally Nature's Logic Distinction Sardine Recipe All Stages of Life and prior to that Orijen Original. What was found instead was another brand that my dog has eaten before (just not in this recipe) and she seemed to be okay with this last-minute switch. This is a BIG DEAL because my dog is an Italian Cane Corso Mix who loves a meat-based and mostly gluten-free diet and is incredibly finicky with what she will accept. The fact that she ate Nutro MAX adult recipe with a farm-raised chicken recipe with no added roasted organic chicken was surprising. Not to mention she had no tummy troubles the entire time. It's been maybe over a week so it's safe to say that she's okay. She loved the dog treats! I'd definitely say give both the dog food and treats a chance! Lastly, while we were visiting the animal shelter area where you can adopt kittens. We were highly interested but were told that you have to visit another location outside of the store to ask questions regarding adoption so they keep that in mind if you're interested. read more

Told when i came in rabies vaccination expired (per data in system). Had vaccinated him and vet not answering phone as it was their lunch hour. I asked why I wasn't asked to bring it in when i made the appointment. Shrug. They couldn't have cared less. Now i have a hot mess of a doodle on my hands 2 days before Thanksgiving and overnight guests. Never again. We haven't been in Petsmart for several years because the last time we were there, staff was rude, the store was dirty and too much inventory was left unpacked. That changed last Friday when my husband and I decided to go check it out again. We were impressed! Especially with a lady by the name of Emily, working in the fish department. That lady is a real treasure! She has revamped their fish area and it's Beautiful! Everything was clean, no unpacked inventory and she was just as sweet as can be! Missoula's PetSmart is a great place to buy everything your pet needs. They have a huge selection of dog and cat food and they sell everything from your basic brand up to the more expensive higher end brands of food. Need a leash? They've got 'em! Lots of them, actually. You can also buy name tags for your pet's collar and have it engraved right there in the store with your pet's name and information. There is a machine that makes it quick and easy for anyone to do. Among pet supplies, they also sell live animals (hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, mice and rats, snakes, birds, and more. They also sell an abundance of different fish, tanks, and supplies. On the other side of the store, they have cats and bunnies that are up for adoption. This particular location offers dog grooming and it's pretty comparable to prices of local pet grooming businesses. I've taken my dog there several times and have always been happy with the results. If you have a puppy, or a dog that could use a little discipline, there is a dog training area located in the center of the store. I know of a few people who have had great results with their dogs. One last thing: This store is CLEAN!!! As soon as you walk in, it's obvious the employees take pride in their job, and that shows through in the appearance of the store. read more

My dog went in to get groomed and when he was done there were tons of bad cuts all over him. Like not exaggerating but there are like 5 deep cuts on him. There is one under his ear that is very deep and brutal. He is in pain and I feel so bad for him. Please take into account when you get your dog groomed. read more

Booked a Bath and Haircut appointment for my Aussie Doodle with Oreana. She did exactly what I asked (Short on the body with a Teddy face) and although our dog looks completely different I love it! Emily Perez was only certified by Petsmart shortly before Beginner Class. Qualification per her was she trained a horse. She read their guide book I guess. She never gave any feed-back or instruction to any dogs in the class. She did a good job of watching and going thru the motions but never any correction or pointers. We were just training ourselves and dogs, not that they learned a whole lot. The last lesson was a total waste, didn't cover anything that we were supposed to train on. read more

I got a ball python from here. they told me he was agressive and he bites people and they told me he has not eaten in weeks. they told me if he doesn't eat in the next 14 days to bring him back and they will take him to the vet and force feed him. That's should be absolutely last resort when a snake isn't eating, and a few weeks isn't bad if he's not showing signs of starvation, im sure y'all were trying to feed him frozen mice, im Not sure if petsmart isn't legally allowed to feed live mice im not sure. But no wonder he wasn't eating because i offered him a live mouse and he took it right away, he obviously doesn't like frozen and was raised on live mice, so maybe next time ask your supplier if there snakes were fed live or frozen mice, instead of resorting to force feeding. And no wonder he was aggressive he was very hungry. not happy at all. read more

Made an appointment for my dogs grooming and they said they needed an updated vaccination record, that's fine. I called my vet and they said they faxed it over I called Petsmart grooming to confirm they received it, yes the lady said we have it and she's good to go for Saturday 8am. Got up early and headed over, while walking through the door wasn't welcomed or greeted with a Good Morning or anything, I thought oh well maybe I'm asking for too much on this early Saturday morning, we proceeded to check in my Princess and she had the nerve to ask me if I brought her vaccination record, of course I saId no the vets office sent it in and I confIrmed shortly after it was received. Well Kristen was rude and said we can't bring her in without those records, I again reiterated it was sent and I confirmed receipt of it. Well it's not here there's nothing I can do about it, okay I will just take my dog and go. She was snotty right out the gate! I will not ever use them to handle my dogs, bad attitudes don't need to be around my sweet girl. read more

I went in here to look around and kill some time today. It was very clean and well organized. It was easy to find the different sections. I love the fact that it is pet friendly and that they still require a leash for pets. I think that is important. I also think it's pretty cool that they work with an area rescue for cat adoptions, they had several cats looking for new homes. They have a huge selection of different items for your pets. I wasn't really approached by an employee to see if I needed help, but I didn't actively seek one out either. All in all, a great store with a huge selection for all of your pet needs. read more

We always find what we want, but I can't give five stars because I am disappointed every time I go into the fish section and find a dead Betta. And it happens EVERY time. I like the pet friendly atmosphere. Able to take my puppy to go in the store to find what he needs. I remember the first time I went in when I got my dog and didn't know what to get for him as far as puppy food, and they were educated in what I should get and what I should do. We can get pet food for our dog anywhere else but we enjoy that we can bring our dog in so it's always a field trip when we get refills. Convenient locaiton for where I live. read more

Ive heard several people say how Wal-Mart and other stores have the same stuff for cheaper. But at PetSmart, as soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted, with, or without your pet, and asked what your looking for, and if you are, you're quickly, and directly taken to the exact item you need. They are all also very educated on pet matters and issues, and will gladly give you free advice or even engage in a conversation with you getting to know you. At walmart... I waited literally an hour and a half, and searched out several workers who simply brushed me off, and almost ran the other way when I approached them, just to get a Glofish. It is completely different than PetSmart! I love PetSmart, not only can you shop with your own pet, but they have top quality items in just about anything you need, and at reasonable prices with a lot of discounts. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. They all love pets, and that really shows! This will always be my favorite place to shop for my pets. read more
