We went over the questionnaire and I mentioned he doesn't like the blow dryer and is not friendly to dogs, also to note Amber was already being a little hostile before the grooming has started . Usually the groomers will say that all they need to do is talk to him and go slow and he will be ok, never have I had a complaint from a groomer about Luca. When I go pick my dog up she says he needs to be trained, he was acting crazy with the blow dryer (then kennel dry him?) like you're the "professional". I go and take my dog home and he will flinch anytime I try petting his legs or paws, also his eyes were super red! Amber if you don't have good customer service then ok, but if you don't have patience for dogs getting groomed then find a different career path because this one is definitely not for you! read more

I drove my daughter to this store, after she call to see if they had any cats for adoption. She is raw after losing her cat and dog a few months ago. We got there to find they had 3 kittens. Now after finding a lady to help us,you could tell looking at her you could tell she didn't want to deal with us After you fill out the adoption app,she unlocked the door to let us in. My daughter enter acted with the kitten, while employee stood at the door and after trying to talk to her all we got was no answer and the look of disgust. Do not bring your pet here. The staff is horrifically rude. First off I made the appointment a week in advance and I drove close to a half hour to get there. My cute little mini Aussie doodle previously had a hard time with getting her nails clipped and the manger was quick to inform me she was a risk and they don't work with "aggressive dogs". My dog is not aggressive at all. She then went on to inform me that if she had any sort of reaction at any time throughout her grooming that they would halt their services immediately. This is based on her having a reaction to them clipping her nails previously. The manager was rude, blunt and unnecessarily aggressive towards me from the time I checked my dog in. I just got my puppy today so we took a trip here and I had a great experience with customer service. My new fur baby does NOT like his leash so I put him in a cart and he jumped out and bumped his head badly !! I had to carry him with my hands and push the cart but it was getting to be a lot so I asked "Ted" at the register to assist me in finding a crate and deoderizer. He was so helpful to the point that he called for backup, pushed my cart and showed me where to find what I needed. He even carried my baby for me to the car while I pushed the cart. I think they did a great job at the groomers. I brought Mikey in for a wash, clipped his nails, and brushed his hair which was silky smooth. They also made some recommendations on cleaning up his paws especially walking in the snow, and the hairs that block his eyes. He can now see. I was attempting to adopt a cat from this location. I went in, found out that you can't even interact with the cat until you fill out an adoption form. I went home, filled out the form and brought it back the following day. I called ahead, waited 20 minutes on hold and asked exactly what I needed to do/bring to make the process go smoothly. I did exactly what they asked, and when I get there she proceeds to tell me they don't do adoptions after 6. I had no idea of this, and then she adds that the adoption fee needs to be in cash. Not to mention the lady helping us would not work with us what so ever. We could have cash in hand in 3 minutes, but she denied us because that was too long. 3 FUCKING MINUTES. Took my dog into the store to get groomed for the first time. The day before the grooming salon called me trying to cancel his haircut. I told him no he needed a haircut and proceeded to bring him in today. Then when I got there, I'll wait for about 15 minutes to go inside the room because there is a lady there with her dog and my dog is not friendly with other dogs, so when I come in, she ask about his vaccination records and see if he cannot see him because he does not have any. He has gotten his haircut at Petsmart his entire life and his records are in the system. I asked her to recheck she did, and found another account that showed his records. I'll leave him there. Two hours later I get a phone call that he's being aggressive and they can no longer trim him. I informed the lady beforehand that he could be aggressive if you were touching his head and tail and most Petsmart left those areas uncut. She refused to go any further, and even refused to bathe him. Again, he is always gotten his haircut at Petsmart and he has the same reactions and he always comes out clean and completely trimmed and they said he was a good dog. Do not go there if you have a poodle. A groomer by the name Amber has a poor attitude and wouldn't even groom my dog because of matting in one ear. I've taken my dog there twice, the first she was severely matted and they worked with my dog. Shaved it all off and my dog looked great. The second time, this location had student groomers and the worked with my poodle and did an amazing job. Today, I have now idea what was up with this specific groomer, but she turned me away because of matting on one ear. Should could've just told me she didn't feel come and reschedule me with someone else. What a waste of my time. read more

I have an older shorkie who is in decent health and brought her here on recommendation from a neighbor since I recently moved. I let the staff know that my dog can get a little nervous and shakes and pants with the intention of letting them know that's alright and they can still groom her even when she gets stressed. They let me know she had some mats I agreed and understood with no issues. One hour later I get a call saying she is way too stressed and they are sending her home. Strange since I thought my warning was clear. I pick her up anyways and see that they have barely done anything to cut her hair and what they had gotten to was atrocious (see photos). Cassidy let me know that she wasn't comfortable with her being stressed because of her age. She said from now on U should only take her to a sedated vet groomer. My dog is 15 years old, a vet will not sedate her. With this ridiculous news comes more. I paid $20 for them to spend what looks like 10 minutes cutting her hair. I digress and go to the register where she asks if I would like to leave gratuity. I simply responded "please look at my dog, not today". Overall I'm just sad my dog looks this ridiculous. read more

No Stars!! Terrible Customer Service! Scheduled a grooming appointment over a week in advance, came in for appointment and was told they needed to reschedule. This is a major inconvenience as the appointment was scheduled for today as Christmas is in a few days and I have family arriving. The next available appointment was not until after Christmas. They said they called (one time) but couldn't leave a voicemail. Which is true, but we also have email and they have access to that. Very angry and frustrated. This store was great at one point, but a couple weeks ago I paid for a leopard gecko that was barley a hatchling (And by the way you can't sell baby leopard gecko until they are two inches and this leopard was not) and I fed her watered her everything I was suppose to do, but she passed away after 3 weeks of having her. I got attached to her... she was my baby. Not to mention her tail had dropped so they did something to her. Leopard geckos tails don't drop often they drop rarely. Any way I went back today, to try to get another leopard thinking maybe she was just too young, and they tried to sell me another one that looked just like the one I purchased a couple weeks ago.at first I didn't notice because the Manager Sara there didn't let me pick or look. After paying for her I went around the store for a hide and some worms and I looked at her and she looked way too young again and was bleeding from her feet. So I went back to the Manager Sara because she was the reptile person and she told me she was just cold. Well from my experience I knew she wasnt. She was sick. I told her she needed to see the veterinarian and she just walked away. So finally I went in with my boyfriend and Sara told my boyfriend fuck your whatever and ripped the leopard gecko from my hands. Not good customer service at all and the leopard gecko was dying. For years I have been bringing my dog to get groomed here. It has really went down hill though. The first cut he had this year was really choppy. He looked like a child gave him a haircut with scissors. 60 dollars for everything we had done. This last time, his haircut looked better but he wasn't washed! I have been going to this pets smart over the course of 3 years and not once was I told to put my Dog on a leash. I have spent over $2,000 on training my dog. I will never return to this location. I made an appointment on Thursday to bring my dog in on Saturday to be groomed. While dropping my dog off to be groomed I was told it was going to be a more expensive visit because it was a weekend treatment. My frustration is why wasn't I told this on Thursday when I booked my appointment for Saturday. The slum of a groomer Corina W is also the one that booked my appointment on Thursday. When confronting the Slum of a groomer (Corina W) she told me that prices are just quotes and can change at anytime. I didn't add any additional services this should not be the case. Anyway. We left and proceeded to walk through PetSmart to buy additional items. 15minutes after I dropped my dog off they called and said that he would be ready shortly so I walked back into the grooming area and she was rubbing him down with a paper towel and brushing him out. She finished and took him to the back to collect his collar and his leash. They came back to the front where I was and obviously my dog is excited to see me and wants to leave. Well again; the Slum of a groomer, Corina W., Is struggling to put his collar on and take their leash off. She was struggling so hard to do so she was literally choking my dog out. At that point I stepped in and told her to give me my dogs collar and remove your leash I will take care of him. She refused because of "safety reasons" well at that point my dogs life is a SAFETY REASON and I forcefully removed her leash and put my dogs collar and leash on. We went and tried to explain the situation to Sara the supervisor on duty and all she said she was going to do was make note of it and speak with the rude ladies and the SLUM OF A GROOMER. I like this PetSmart, for general dog food and toys and grooming. They have a generic canned food for $1.25/can, and Purina is $1.49 for the large can, which is about what you pay at your grocery store. They do not carry the same brands that you would find at a grocery store, for the most part, so the prices on the food for dogs and cats are significantly higher, but this is he place you want to go if your furry family member has any special dietary needs, such as allergies or joint issues. If all you need is toe nails clipped, the groomer can take your pups in on a walk-in basis most weekends. If you want more than that (bathing, shaving, grooming), you need an appointment. There is also a Banfield veterinary clinic inside this store. After losing two dogs at this clinic, I will never go here again. That's a separate re read more

I came in last Wednesday for food for my friends dog. Went to go visit the kitties for adoption. When I went there and realized one of the kitties that was just 14 or 15 weeks old rolled in it poop. Quickly went to a employee named Holly who than told me very rudely that they have to go do there rounds at the end of the night and that's one of them so not to be worried it was about 8 the store closed at 9pm that night. So she than turned around in her register than got on Facebook I couldn't even believe it I never been so upset at an employee how could you let a poor little animal stay in it's poo I wish I could say how I really feel because I love animals and she should not be there. Sorry. I went in today to pick up my dog's prescription food. The staff was not wearing masks. It was fairly busy and only one other customer was wearing a mask. Duh, the Governor made an order. Are you all nuts? I bought a bigger bag of food so I don't have to go back any time soon. Dangerous place! I have brought my three dogs here for the last two years. They have some very talented groomers working here. My favorite is Tia. I have see her do amazing work. If they aren't busy, the service is wonderful. If it is a busy day, you will be very disappointed. I stopped bringing my dogs here because they said that grooming my older grand-dog would be hazardous to his health. Yes. Hazardous to his health to be clean and have a hair cut. This wasn't just a groomers opinion, this is from the vet's office inside of Petsmart, Banfield. They can no longer groom my dog because a bath and haircut would put his health in jeopardy. This is my go to pet store for all my pet needs and I also like that I can bring my pets along to shop for them lol. I take my pets to the Banfield veterinary hospital located in the pet smart. I have my pets on their wellness plan, which helps me to save on office visits and medicine. All the staff are nice and pet lovers. For pet smart specifically, I like that they carry a variety of products and brands. I usually buy their Dentley's rawhide bones, Beggin' strips, and royal canin dog food. It also helps that the staff are helpful when I need help finding something specific. read more

I took my dog there to get a full groom and shave and they called me after the bath and said they couldn't do it anymore because he was moving too much. I've taken him to multiple groomers before and they have never had an issue. The lady sounded annoyed and wasn't very friendly so I think she just didn't want to deal with my 100 pound Newfoundland mix. I would NOT recommend going there. read more

This is for the groomers. Scheduled a bath and groom, was called to cancel said they don't have time to do both. Rescheduled for Saturday the 30th. Made it clear we wanted our dog cleaned up completely, not like a traditional cocker spaniel cut. Trim the ears and high and tight everywhere else. When my husband picked up our dog he relayed he wasn't pleased with his cut. They explained they did a "trim like he had previously" instead of what was requested. Only positive he was soft and clean. Hair cut was crap. I am taking him elsewhere for the cut to be finished and the knots to be taken out of his ears that were left behind. Now that we have a puppy we have been here a few times. Ok a lot of times. But the people who work here are amazing. They always talk to my little guy and make sure we know where to find things. The prices are probably just run of the mill but they do have fairly good sales. We like the grooming because I'm just too scared to cut my little guys nails but then again I'm a overprotective mom and don't want to hurt him. They did a great job with him and told us how wonderful he was They do training there for like $109 and we may check that out soon. I'm just grateful they will answer my questions and never make me feel like I'm wasting their time. Clean and large. They have a huge variety of aquarium products, though the quality of the fish themselves seems questionable. I witnessed the circle of life today as a bright orange goldfish devoured a guppy in the same tank this afternoon. *shudder* Prices for dog food and supplies are comparable to other big box stores. I can't speak to grooming prices as I've never used them for grooming. But, they do have a good selection of dog shampoos and cleaning products, which is great for the at-home dog bather! read more
