While visiting this PetSmart, we wanted to pet the kittens and possibly adopt, but wanted to get to know them. We went to the nearest employee and asked if we could. She then explained that it would be a "waste of time" for her if we didn't adopt. She then went on and told us that it was unneeded stress on her and would take away from her work needs. We had viewed the cats online already, and simply wanted to know their personalities prior to adoption. It's so sad that this woman wouldn't let this happen. There were also multiple other employees around, so we weren't taking her away from anything crazy. What an all-inclusive selection. Staff is consistently service orientated, dmfrom greetings to asking if you need assistance. Coupons are also offered. Pet training for puppies is exceptional with only two dogs in our 6 week program. read more

Used to love this store until today. I thought I'd grab a cardboard box that the critters go in for our mouse at home, so we can clean his cage. He was bought here. We buy lots of rabbit and mouse stuff here. The blonde girl yelled at me that I couldn't take that. I mean yelled! In front of several people. She said they are for purchase only. I asked if I could buy one and gave it back. She snipped NO. They're for putting bought animals in. Then she proceeds to go talk about me to her coworker in the next aisle. Store manager is useless. He said it sounds like a case of you should have asked us. I said that gives her the right to scream at me? The whole store got quiet because she was that loud. I'm reporting to corporate because she almost dropped a whole aquarium without a customer catching it and she had boxes all over the floor off her cart. I'll go to Evansville from now on. Don't shop here. The manager won't care if you get screamed out it's your fault. I spent over $100 just today. I sat in my car just to post this so anyone else goes avoid the little beyotch with blonde hair and glasses. read more

Today, 12/30/2024, was my first experience with this store. It will also be my last considering the negative, and judgmental, experience that me and my family encountered. We have 3 cats. 2 are older and stick together who aren't playful due to their age. The other is a young kitten which we were attempting to get a playmate for. We found a pair of male orange kittens which were fixed and were bonded together, so we didn't want to separate them. We wanted to split the payment between cash and card while explaining that I was working with the funds I had on me today and that I get paid consistently as an independent contractor. When I stepped off to the side to get my son, who has ADHD, away from the glass windows they approached my significant other and stated they were concerned due to our finances and worried about the kittens safety while looking at our son. They also stated they were worried we may be hoarding cats. So, they refused to adopt the kittens out to us. I honestly feel they just jumped to conclusions, were being judgmental, and were completely unprofessional with the situation. Additionally, I question why the employee that stated all of this felt the need to walk out to the entrance of the store and watch us leave. I noticed her as I was backing out of our parking spot. It's quite a shame this is the closest PetSmart to our residence. I'll be going elsewhere. read more

My dog had the worst grooming experience here. He had several positive ones previously, but all those groomers seem to have left. I don't know if there was a change in management or what. They quicked all 10 of my dogs toenails when I asked them to be dremmeled. My dad showed up and two of the groomers where doing the same to another dog who was screaming in pain. Shameful!! I agreed to him being shaved down and I have found scabs on him. And it's been two weeks and he still shakes everyday multiple times a day. Forget getting him in the car. Avoid at all costs!!!!!! read more

My dog and I always have a pleasant experience at this store. Staff always greets you and are sincerely friendly.

Unfortunately the only reason to go to this pet smart is because there are no other pet stores in town and Walmart simply won't suffice for certain supplies. The fish are all kept in tanks too small for as many fish as there are, and the conditions are always disgusting. They advertise a certain tank for Bettas, that is way too small to be realistic for these fish. The staff are rude, and not very helpful. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

This is your average PetSmart. Considering all of the animals that come in and out of this store, it's very clean and they provide bags to clean up after your dog. The employees are friendly and prompt with checkout. They are more than helpful if you have questions about products. The rewards card helps us save at least a little on our expensive furbabies! read more

Nice store. Can handle pedicures and manicures of dog paws. Can handle at least some unsavory pet services that have to be done. Can browse pets they offer for sale -- reptiles, amphibians, fish, mammals. Nice aisles with plenty of space. Nice selection of food for pets. read more

An excellent place to work if you find your self in the most expensive hobby on earth, pet parenthood. I my self have 2 dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon with an aquarium full of fish and I was able to work somewhere where not only do all the other employees share my love of pets big and small, but love sharing their knowledge with other people who want to open their homes! I am now a dog groomer thanks to PetSmart generous training and enjoy my job day in and out! Come visit us and let us share why this company is so wonderful to be a part of! read more

Good pet store. They do alot for the neighborhood animal shelters here in town. Merchandise is a bit over priced but this is my pet store of choice for sure read more
